Currently I have two of the three novels by MTXT in my possession. Usually I wait until I own all the volumes before reading them so I can binge read but I couldn't help myself and started reading the first volumes of TGCF and MDZS respectively. The donghua for TGCF is surprisingly faithful to the first volume, but man MDZS is hella different (Lan Zhan's affection for Wei Wuxian is quite obvious for me as the reader). It made me laugh out loud a few times and I'm curious how much different the story is going to be compared to its donghua counterpart. I think TGCF might be subtle enough in its romance for it to make it through censorship. I might retract that though once I get my paws on volume 2. The only downside is that the later volumes won't be released until the latter half of 2022, but oh well.
Hey, I was just randomly checking my friends profiles and I realise you said you’re a manga collector. I too want to support my fav anime grand blue by buying the manga. I was also looking for CSM and demon slayer manga. Could I know where you buy your manga from. Thanks:)
Oh there is? I have heard that :Re isn't as good as its prequel, but oh well. I've decided not to bother with the anime adaptations though. I'd planned on watching those as well, but I'm not going to bother. Here's to hoping Tokyo Ghoul gets the brotherhood treatment at some point.
I have not read any of those danmei novels, but I have seen the donghua for Tian Guan Ci Fu and I liked it (even though it's censored as fuck). I checked my local website (sorta like Amazon and Ebay where you can buy just about anything) and they're all up for pre-order as well. I find it really annoying though that none of the novels are listed on MAL yet and only the manhua for MDZS. What made you drop that title though? I mean, I think I'll enjoy all three titles by this author (there's another one Seven Seas will be licensing) but since I can't read reviews, I'd like to ask you what you think before I invest in physical books I may not even enjoy that much.
I'm currently re-reading Tokyo Ghoul and plan on finishing that series during the holiday break later this month (light novels and :Re included). I'm almost finished reading Ajin, just waiting for the final volume to arrive and I'm only missing volume 6 of the Promised Neverland, but that's scheduled to arrive next week. If there are no delays that is. I'm not sure what I'll be reading next after that. I really want to read Ashita no Joe. Thoroughly enjoyed the anime for that classic, so now I want to read the manga as well. The only problem is that it's not licensed in English and it's not available in digital format so I won't be able to read it on my E-reader which means I'll be stuck reading it on my PC. I generally don't like reading manga on my PC ><
I had also hoped I'd have all of Vagabond by January but the website I ordered them from informed me that Vagabond volume 12 (of those 3-in-1 editions) was cancelled so it's out of stock again unfortunately. I also really want to read Banana Fish but I'm missing nearly half of the volumes because they're all out of stock. I decided to hold out until I own the complete series though, so it'll probably take a while.
Mo dao zu shi and tian guan ci fu are getting officially licensed into English! Looks like they'll be out this year as well, though it'll probably take a while before they become available in the Netherlands, if at all. I'm saving some shelf space for this one though.
I won't say I love crying but I do love the Animes where I cry or those that make me feel like crying. I mean I like emotional animes. There are some other also like a whiskers away, hotarubi no mori e, 5 centimetres per second, the girl who leapt through time, anthem of the heart, voices of a distant star, bunny girl senpai movie, and that's pretty much all ig. And honestly I want to eat your pancreas and your lie in April, each just shocked me to death for a week and they impacted on me very much.
So what do you wanna talk about exactly like how much I cried or why did I cry? XD Also share some of yours as well with me.
I know you are introvert but no pressure I was like you a few years back. So you can take your time to open up ^^
Yeah I know what you mean. I've only travelled in Europe, but European culture is so vast and different from country to country. I'd still love to travel outside of Europe, but travelling is expensive and I have bills to pay haha.
But why only sad shows? Besi I haven't seen many sad ones. The ones I can remember are your life in April, Erased(the ending ig), I want to eat your pancreas, Akame ga Kill, your name(not necessarily), Charlotte(some parts), guilty crown. Ig I ended up mixing some emotional ones instead of sad ones only XD. I ptwed anohana, plastic memories.
What are yours? And is there any one that you haven't watched?
Well we usually only get snow during the winter season (21 December through 20 March) but we've had light snowfall a few weeks back in April this year, which doesn't happen much. It's not very much and not throughout the entire country either. It fluctuates a lot. The south of the Netherlands is usually a little warmer, Limburg for example (the only provice where the country isn't entirely flat). It depends on where you want to go and when. I reckon our weather is a little similar to that of England. It can be very rainy and grey a lot of the time. Our summers are bone dry with very little precipitation. I guess nature makes up for it throughout the rest of the year.
The weather is like that over here as well, kind of. Our summers have gotten hotter as of late and sometimes we have heatwaves of + 35 degrees and over. Honestly, it's shite. Utrecht is nice, I've been there before a few times. It's not really much like Amsterdam tbh. Amsterdam is jampacked with tourists and it's pretty dense in population and people in general. I feel like Utrecht is less so. There are unsafe areas everywhere, really but it's not really comparable to the US and what's been going on over there lately. Though I'm sure horrible things happen here as well, we just don't hear about them as much. I hope you get a chance to go someday.
