Space Brothers is great. I think the first 7~ episodes are a great indication of what's to come. It does get better in certain arcs, but those beginning episodes are a good heuristic to figure out how much you might like the show.
I actually did read the Tearmoon Kingdom manga since we last talked! And honestly,... I was not a fan. I was expecting more from the story, and it got quite repetitive by the end. The comedy was kind of funny, but after a while the pattern was easy to spot and became stale. What I really love about Ascendance of a Bookworm is the attention to detail when it comes to world-building and living in a different culture that Isekai's usually rarely focus on. A strong sense of realism. It appealed to my curiosity towards anthropology and culture, and even though there's no big thematic message in Ascendance of a Bookworm, it was a very informative read. But I didn't feel that way with Tearmoon Kingdom. Perhaps it's a difference between the light novel and manga, or my expectations before reading it, but it was just ok. A fun read if I'm updated, but kind of a chore if I'm binge-ing.
World Trigger sounds like fun! Thank you for taking the time to share all those spoiler-free videos, they were a great watch :). I've been on a heavy Manga-only phase recently, so I might just read the manga given there are some production issues in the first season. I added it to my Manga App (tachiyomi for Android, highly recommend), so I'll get to it some time soon :)
Looking at your profile, it seems like you enjoy a lot of romance, and I have a top tier recommendation! It's called The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity. My romance junkie friends found this hidden gem recently and have professed it a 10. I started checking it out, and it's amazing from the start, sooooo good. Highly recommend for romance and good character writing fans.
Thank you for the response, and good luck on your studies :)
Thanks to you, I plan on checking out Tearmoon Kingdom sometime soon. It reminds me of an excellent Isekai called Ascendance of a Bookworm that also has a female lead (highly recommend)
I see that you really like world trigger. As popular as it is, I somehow never met someone irl that watched it. Would you say it's worth a watch? Like what are some of it's good points for you?
Just my thoughts :) Excellent basis for the story already though
I’m not still very sold on Oshi no Ko yet. How it started out really irked me with the reincarnation bit in a non fantasy setting. It’s slowly getting better for me, though, tbf.
I'm flattered you took inspiration from my reviews!
