The Girl from class is a very relatable and realistic manhwa. It is the story of a college boy who gets a crush on the girl who sits next to him, in the class.
It has minimalistic art, story moves fast, short(28 chapters only), and requires you to pay attention. It is a smart story.

Writing a review here seems challenging because this story might get spoiled.
Mainly we get to see this guy go through his college days, meet friends, try to talk to the girl he likes and also handle a part time job. Through this we ... see him grow from a naive, kind kid who lacks self-awareness to a less naive kid, who is still kind but also self aware. There is some good character growth in the MC. So this manhwa fits the tag of “coming of the age” manhwa.

There are almost no backgrounds, kinda like About Death. But still it doesn’t look empty. Most importantly, you will always recognise the various characters by their clothes, hairstyle, and the way they act. No confusion.

One important thing—— often the author doesn’t explain what is going on. There were times when I had to flip back a few pages, or stop to digest what just happened. So you can’t skip pages. This is a pro for the people who want an engaging read, where the author respects the audience enough to leave blanks.
And this is a con for the readers who want a light, relaxing read where they can pick and drop the manga any time....even skip a few pages and it won’t matter.

The ending was really mature, and understandable. I feel it truly tied together the feel of this manhwa.
I highly recommend you to read this manhwa, especially if you want a short,engaging read.

I feel like every work, whether it be manga, anime or manhwa depict a very unrealistic way of relationships and love. This is the first piece of art I saw that shows a realistic progression of relationships and crushes. Without spoiling too much: It is a story, where our protagonist has a crush on a girl in his class. This relationship develops over time and when it comes to the end you feel like the story is perfectly round off. Even though the art seems too simplistic, I think that is what the author was going for when he made the story. He wanted to ... emphasize less on the art so the audience can focus on the characters and story more. Overall a very enjoyable and refreshing kind of story.

This was a very quick read so there wasn't really much time to thoroughly develop the plot and characters, however, since the story is so straightforward with only one main conflict development can be rushed while still keeping a decent pace. There isn't anything particularly special about the plot rather than the fact that it is realistic. It portrays how hopeless one can be under the idea that they're in love. It's pretty deep and downright sad but in a way it is realistic, showing the pressure some of us put on ourselves. My only complaint is that the plot, because of how ... straightforward it is, lacks any diverse development. It's not a plot that branches out with different outcomes and takes many twists and turns, just a story to read when you've got some time to spare.
The art doesn't come of as pleasing too much with a very minimalistic style. This is just the artist's style but it felt rough and unfinished with few detailed backgrounds. Eyes aren't drawn which is what makes it feel the most incomplete since I find eyes are the facial feature that expresses the most emotion.
The characters are few and the only development is really focused on the main character. Supporting characters aren't really there to help move the story forward, mainly just to help with fillers and some degree of comedy relief. I would like to see these characters more flushed out and hold more diversity.
This comic didn't fail to give me something worth reading in my free time. It wasn't one of the best comics I've read but it wasn't that bad. At times I did get bored of the dragging on of the plot but managed to keep reading with the driving force of finishing it.
Overall, the most memorable part of this was just the "lesson learned" throughout the story. It was a realistic plot considering the way characters had reacted when put in certain situations. Even then, the main character was a fool and suffered from it in the end.
