Okay, so before I start this review just understand one thing about me: I love vanilla romance stories. They are my bread and butter. I don't need any sort of NTR sprinkles or any love triangle syrup on my vanilla ice cream cone. That is just my personal preference, but because of those preferences I found this manga to be amazing. So do take my review with a grain of salt as I am extremely biased because of my love for vanilla.
Story- 9
Okay, so in my opinion a simple story is the best type of story. The main gist of it is that there

It's alright. The few commonly occurring side characters had great synergy with the main couple. But most of the side characters were mainly introduced only to be forgotten for the rest of the series. Which was a shame since some of them had potential to really flesh out the main character aside from him being part of the secretly nice person with a scary face that happens to be antisocial trope (which quickly grows old).
Other then that, it's typical fluff romance. It felt like it wanted to tackle some serious topics related to relationships and self-confidence but didn't commit fully to dealing with them. Dec 30, 2017
Story: okay... so i love this type of romance. it's lovely and heartwarming, but there won't really be any huge dramatic scenes or anything complicated like a love triangle - it's just a simple narration of two people in love, and that's what i think is so great about it. this is like a breath of fresh air to me when every romantic manga i read is overly-complicated, with so many plot devices that ultimately ends up with a bunch of frustration and plot holes.
Art: art is typical shoujo like style. very cute, and matches the story and the vibe that it gives off. Character: ... Jan 6, 2019
Imagine the most adorable couple you can think of. Now throw a truckload of sugar on it. That's Kawaii Hito.
It definitely is the perfect kind of manga if you just want your heart melted by adorableness. You have a scary looking guy, falling in love and ending up in a relationship with a cute girl. Both of them are the most pure-hearted individuals you can think of, and the manga accompanies them in their development as a couple, but all in a very light-hearted manner (no stupid over-the-top drama or love rivals, etc.). The main focus practically stays solely on their relationship, however introducing some ... Nov 11, 2020
This story starts with our hero working on a flower shop with his mom. A 27 year old man with 0 experience in romance. The reason being his scary ass face. His eyes and a combination of his face and hair has led to him having a scary appearance. So imagine his surprise when a repeat customer confesses to him. A 20 year old college student. Finding her adorable and amazing, they both start a relationship together.
Now i really adored this series. The main character and main heroine are both just adorkable love birds and it was so endearing to watch them. They were ... Feb 1, 2022
I liked this manga all the way up to the ending. It's a simple story of first love between two young adults who have each avoided love until now for their own reasons. It is very wholesome and the romance is about as sweet as they come. Each of the protagonists is a thoughtful loving partner in the relationship, and they support each other and enjoy their time together fully as they have fun shared experiences and deal with some minor bumps in the road of life. There is nothing overly dramatic that happens, rather it is a largely peaceful slice

To begin,
you should know that I'm not a big consumer of romance. However, this story I discovered a little by chance has completely touched me ! Through this manga directed by Saitou Ken, we follow the romance of Hanazono (27-year-old florist, he has scary facial expressions that tend to frighten his customers) and his girlfriend called Suzuki (a magnificent student looking for a job). ] * Story * [ Beginning of a classic love story : despite the devilish appearance of the main character, Suzuki falls in love with Hasano's incredible kindness and gentleness. It's both their first romantic relationship, they will spend time together to know each ... Dec 15, 2020
"you make my heart smile" literally. My heart smiles, FMC heart smiles, MC heart smiles, my cat's heart smiles, the whole world's heart smiles.
Gosh, I haven't read such a cute, shoujo romance, in a LONG time. This manga does an amazing job capturing their relationship. Kawaii Hito (かわいいひと) - Adorable People, is the perfect name. I've had this on my PTR list for years, and I am finally glad I've read it now. As you can see, MC is a scary-eyes looking guy, who is super sweet and works as a florist in his family owned shop. He meets a cute college student while ... Nov 12, 2021
This is a love story about a refreshingly equal relationship.
Kawaii Hito does an incredible thing where it subverts gender norms without challenging the genders of the two leads. The main character is unmistakably male, and his love interest is incredibly feminine, but that doesn't define or constrain how they exist in their relationship. They both very much experience their love in the same way: "you're really cute, and you make me happy." That sounds normal, but that equal sentiment means that neither of them are in a subservient role (protector-protectee, etc). It means the girl finds her boyfriend just as cute as he finds her. It ... Feb 25, 2024
A love story between a beautiful girl and a boy with a scary face. They start dating in the first chapters on the manga and it’s continues from there. It’s easy to read fluff that might give you diabetes. No forced drama or annoying characters, only wholesomeness. Even if there’s a conflict, it’s solved within the chapter so it doesn’t annoy you. That being said, I had some parts I didn’t like. For example the brother having a sister complex and forcing her to wear a sweatshirt to cover her swimsuit. Also it’s too sweet that it’s unrealistic, they never have an argument. The mc
