Both mangas have a romance between two different races, Blood Alone has a quiet, shy princess-like loli vampire (Misaki Minato), and Dance in the Vampire Bund has also a loli vampire (Mina Tepes), but the difference between the two of them is that Mina is a spoiled little sadistic arrogant brat, and Misaki is somewhat the oppsite of her because she hates drinking blood and abstains herself from it, even if at the begining she acted a little spoiled. The other main male characters are similar, because both are humans but they have also supernatural powers. Akira Kaburagi Regendorf from Dance in the Vampire  read more

Both Kure-nai and Blood Alone has a male protagonist taking care of a young female while learning from each other and living together.

The theme of 'Young girl plus older guardian' is there. With BA there's a noticeable romantic undertone; Usagi Drop has little to none.

Both have a younger female being protected by an older male, as well as elements of the supernatural. In Inu X Boku it's youkai, in Blood Alone its yampires. Both a sweet and have great characters and an interesting story.

Lethal young girl has a thing for her guardian while he's just trying to play the role of responsible elder brother. (Aw...) Both series also feature regular people who are somewhat forced into unusual occupations due to their tragic pasts.

While both stories feature vampires and the trials they have to deal with in living alongside humans a great deal of my recommendation comes from how their tones are similar. While there is bloody action to be had the relationships between the characters involved are just as important. You get to see parts of their daily lives and sweet calming moments contrasted with the violent ones and the mood shifts aren't jarring.

Both are realistic urban fantasies with elements of crime drama. Blood Alone has vampires and psychics, handled with incredible believability, and the main character, a vampire hunter, is seen aiding the police department occasionally on strange cases. SID focuses on vengeful spirits and exorcists, the main character being a police detective who can see spirits, and begins to solve a lot of cases involving ghosts. The cases and the ghosts are portrayed very believably with a sense of authenticity. While the two are pretty different, the way the authors weave the fantastic elements beautifully into the world is the same.

While not vampire, similar theme involved with a non-human small girl that lives in a modern era setting, while also getting entangled with supernatural elements of her life.

These two series are all about that fluffy lovey-dovey goodness between a younger girl and her older brother figure living under one roof. The girls are both mature beyond their age but still prone to making cheeky, princess type demands. The guys are unconditionally affectionate over their long, dark, straight-haired loli counterparts but are also (intentionally and unintentionally) keeping them at a distance.

Both have incredibly similar settings about loli vampires and their human male vampire hunting companions.

Both really great mangas with awesome story-lines that feature completely mysterious, badass older males protecting younger females. In the case of Blood Alone, the female is an unawakened vampire. But stop! This isn't your typical vampire-manga, give it a shot, I swear! There's plenty of action, along with the little sweat interactions between the oblivious Kuroe, a vampire slayer, and Misaki, the girl he's protecting. If you liked the interesting dynamic of the two leads in Until Death Do you part, then you'll love Blood Alone.

Basically one of the originators "loli vampiress" where Tsukuyomi: Moon Phase features the same theme, like Blood Alone, of a young vampire girl that is very close to an "older brother" main character. Also highly recommend the Tsukuyomi: Moon Phase anime, which was famous in 2006 as one of the top 10 anime DVD of the time.

there is a older male taking care of a child to the point of (somewhat in Blood Alone) being their servant.

Both works feature entertaining stories of vampires accompanied a strong yet subtle romantic plot that plays along the lines of being a taboo subject. The character dynamic between Kuroe and Misaki share many characteristics with the Chizuna siblings'.

Both are interesting vampire stories, though they are very different.

These mangas share similar characters: a young girl who lives with a protective older man, a beautiful rival woman and various cameos by nosy demons/vampires. The young girl is in love with older man and has to deal with the difficulties of not being quite the same age. Both stories are pretty episodic and have a lot of fluff.

+ Both feature the theme of older male protagonist + younger female protagonist, who both live together for various reasons + Both female protagonists exhibit tsundere characteristics, though much more subtle than the usual type + Lots of (relative) character development - Living Game (LG) has a lighter, contemporary setting, while Blood Alone (BA) is darker/ more gothic, with supernatural elements - The male protagonist of BA is generally much more competent than the one in LG - BA explores the relationship (romantic or otherwise) between the two characters more in depth than LG. Most of the emotional development in LG is left up to the reader to infer

Vampires, romance, fluff, violence (a lot less in Blood Alone). What more could yu possibly ask for!! Oh yeah, HOT LEAD GUYS!!!!!!!!!!(in my opinion)

Both are about the relationship of a girl and her older male gaurdian who is an author. The characters in both mangas also have tragic back stories.

This recommendation was a bizarre toss-up between Darker than Black and Spice & Wolf for Blood Alone's 'partner'. S&W won because I'm referring to an anime in the case of DtB, where as S&W has a manga adaptation complete with much Howo wuvliness. Y'see, BA is a lot like DtB in the sense that a guy with supernatural powers called Kuroe beats/kills supernatural foes, relying far more on his human fighting skills than his own special powers. Kuroe even looks like Hei AND is searching for his sister. There are also plenty of episodic showdowns where Kuroe gets to do his kick-arse thing. But BA isn't really  read more

Both share similar themes of vampires and romance. Their storylines are also similar since they both involve the supernatural, evil organizations and inner personalities. Blood Alone is slightly more realistic since it is mostly based in the real world whereas Rosario + Vampire is set in a monster world. They are both gripping and are very enjoyable to read.
