Both mangas have a romance between two different races, Blood Alone has a quiet, shy princess-like loli vampire (Misaki Minato), and Dance in the Vampire Bund has also a loli vampire (Mina Tepes), but the difference between the two of them is that Mina is a spoiled little sadistic arrogant brat, and Misaki is somewhat the oppsite of her because she hates drinking blood and abstains herself from it, even if at the begining she acted a little spoiled. Dance in the Vampire Bund and Blood Alone explores relationships between a human and vampire. Both series also adapts supernatural elements that involves the dynamics of vampirism. Dance in the Vampire Bund is known for its more complex plot as the story progresses. Blood Alone mostly focuses on relationship dynamics with a slice of life feeling. However, both series contains mystery especially in regards with the main female protagonist and their background stories.
