Humans born into another wold, but as different creatures. It makes an interesting and fun twist to the "born into another world" genre.

- Both Shows are reincarnation themed. - Both protagonist build a new cities with fantasy creatures. - The protagonists both gain in allies in the same way, by sharing their powers with them.

-Both MCs were humans and later became monsters -Both MCs are OP -Both MCs are being folowed by monsters and they are their leaders -Both MCs are trying to build their town/kingdom for their own reasons.

Take all the world building and conquering, and take away the schemes and dialog, and speed everything up by 10 fold, and you'll have Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken.

Both main character are reincarnated into a fantasy world and given the ability to absorb other abilities by defeating monsters and quickly become very powerful in their own right. Upon raising there own skills to a above average point they take it upon themselves to help the respective demi-humans of their new world.

starting with the main character who doesn't get any abilities.

Art is gorgeous in both stories. The chemistry between characters is irreplaceable. Both have non-human characters. The characters' personalities in both are really nicely presented. I enjoyed reading both of them and I would love to see them in recommendations so people can find out about them!

Fantasy manga based on an op mc with monster companions
reportRecommended by Learyan
Well, of Maou ni Natte node I've read only six chapters till now, but i can see some similarities for example: -Reincarnation in a cave -Power of the species from the begin -Meeting with a powerful dragon -Being teached by the dragon, that become a friend -Adventurers scout to see the cause of changes with monsters behaviors

I don't know why the isekai genre has become something that is often sought after when reading manga. Are you looking for an overpowered MC? Maybe this can be a recommendation, I can't say much because they only have one thing in common, lol.
reportRecommended by Syureria
Both MC's are reincarnated to subvert ropes (as a slime vs. a princess), clear story where they slowly learn to harness their own abilities to make friends along the way!

Slime-san is an isekai series that covers all genres. I recommend it but it's not that great (I mean low) It's still isekai themed and has a huge following so this can be a recommendation. For those of you who are looking for sex scenes and nudity you better skip this.
reportRecommended by Syureria
Main Character gets "transported" to a world that is not quite like the one they came from. Sets out to rebuild/build a civilization from scratch. Finds a village that ends op helping to kick start civilization.

Same aspect of dieing and being reborn as another living being coming back stronger and setting out on misson. Both manga's have very indepth world building forming a very strong community that are behind the main characters. Both main characters grow incredible stronger as the story progresses.

Both involve a fantasy world. "Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken" is about being reincarnated into a slime that turns OP and "Yasei no Last Boss ga Arawareta!: Kokuyoku no Haou" is about being stuck in a game.
reportRecommended by popcorncoral
Both characters are reincarnated to monsters in a brand new world. In Spirit Migration, the protagonist revived into an entity that can transfer his conciousness into different kinds of monsters. Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken's protagonist, on the other hand, was reincarnated into a "slime".
reportRecommended by ExplodingGirl
Both Protagonists go to another World and see magical creatures etc But Nidome no yuusha is a bit darker than Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken Nidome is about a guy that wants revenge after being betrayed and so he swears that if he ever get another chance to get it he will make sure to make everyone have a Slow and Painfull death.

Reincarnated into different worlds, Having a fresh start with new life and new fantasy world to explore. Both MC's are very strong and a huge potential to get even stronger.

RPG world where there is magic, and the protagonist is super strong. It's really interesting to see the protagonist traveling aroud the world, as we readers get to known many places. The protagonist also get to make many different friends and is recognised by them. There is also talks about demon lords, which is still not totally clear in both mangas.

Both are set in a fantasy world. "Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken" is about being reincarnated into a slime that turns OP. "Koushaku Reijou no Tashinami" is about a girl getting reborn into an Otome Game as the villianess and avoids her fate and uses her old world knowledge to better the land her father hands to her.

Both Novels Protagonist is reincarnated monster
reportRecommended by Andrey793
Really the only similarity is that they are both Slime in it and OP. But in Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken the Slime is waaayyy more diverse and seems like the best OP MC to have in Dekisokonai no Monster Trainer the Slime is OP and thats just it isn't it.
reportRecommended by Shin-ahWonder
Both MCs are reincarnated into another world where "mmo game mechanics" seems to exist. In Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken, the MC is a genderless slime, and can transform into a body of a girl, while in Tensei Kyuuketsuki-san, the MC is transformed into a vampire. Both of them are males in their previous lives. Both MCs are reborn with OP stats.
reportRecommended by AyanoTatemaya
These two manga has a person who died and got reincarnated into a fantasy world but they turn into monsters and get stronger in every level up and consuming stuff to get skills.
reportRecommended by AkatsukiUlquiora
Both set in a fantasy world with monsters, elves, humans, goblins, slime, etc. But Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken is a reincarnation from-human-to-slime and The New Gate is more stuck-in-a-game.
reportRecommended by popcorncoral
Both the main characters are learning how to deal with coming to a new world that is rpg like and has different rules than the world they know of.
reportRecommended by Celra
Both main characters are teleported to a fantasy world, both of them are strong and overpowered, if you like slime you're going to like isekai, if you like isekai you're going to like slime, guaranteed.
reportRecommended by Jack_Danger
Once again we have two narratives about the main protagonist dieing in prevouis life and being reborn into a fantasy world with powers that are very strong and limitless. With these powers both Main characters have little to no trouble fitting in and gaining companions.
