Story (9/10):I consider the story to be cliche, but very good. The story has it's serious parts and then adds on the comedic relief. Yao Xian your main character, used to be a genius 3 years before the start of the manhua. From then and til now he loses his qi or he's depleted of his qi. This makes people bully the once profound Yao Xian since in the world he lives in believes that the weak can only live at the whim of the strong.

Art (9/10): The art may seem a little outdated in the first 1-2 chapters but when chapter 3 starts ...

Being a fan of the battle shōnen type of manga, Fights Break Sphere certainly seemed worth a try, especially when taking into account the amount of positive reviews for the series. Although it certainly has some good moments, the manhua is rather disappointing as a whole, mainly due to the main character himself, as well as the main story in addition to the later part of the series. Allow me to elaborate.

The premise of the series is nothing revolutionary: a genius fighting prodigy who suddenly loses all his powers. Much to his dismay, a powerful spirit who possess him explains him the very reason ...

FBS is a Manhua that I stumbled on while searching for a manga with a strong protagonist. It's true that the protagonist, Yan Xiao was strong at the start. He was even strong enough to be called a genius but unfortunately he losses all of his powers so that even dogs can look down on him.

Story: 7/10
---
The story is quite enjoyable but the reason I gave it a 7 is because some parts is kind of predictable. While things ain't 100% predictable a lot of things are. But let's skip that and go into the story now.
FBS is an action, fantasy manhua and quite a ...

I actually like the stereotypical "Become the strongest in a world of ki and cultivation manhua". However, this one was not well done, despite being one of the most popular of its type.

Story:
- Generic --> Become the strongest culvator
- A jumble --> There are a lot of things going on in the story and it cant pick which one to go after. You don't really get where the story is going, it takes this weird obscure path. It leaves too many mysteries and things that need to be explained and seems like it wont ever get there. Character also participates in too much "things".
- Techniques ...

You'd think it would sway and degrade its quality as the story progress. Usually that's how I observe manga such as this. But no, I assure you it will not go that way.

This is all about a boy that learned a valuable lesson, a harsh but important necessity for an individual to grow. Surely, most of the scent of the story is the usual scent you smell from overrated boy love girl, meets another girl, then another, but I find myself hungry to this scent. The engagement of new characters, in which clearly defines each one of them, every dialogue exists with the purpose to ...

Dou po Cang Qiong, or Fights Break Sphere, is part of an old but re-emerged genre which I'd like to call Eastern or Oriental Fantasy. In this genre exist several important and distinctive conventions, including a very specific power ranking system, a strong-willed protagonist, and themes relating to ancient Chinese culture and mythologies, etc. Many authors tend to tie their works very closely to these conventions and the original author of the novel was of no exception. Although the world he created flourished along with his imagination, while I was reading the novel I cannot help but feel slightly disappointed at the hackneyed parts of ...

Beware: god awful english translations.

The story is good, if not paced a little weird, characters abruptly appear and disappear and there aren't really any story arcs, there is a substantial overlap of plot before any one event finishes (so it feels a little unending). It feels like not a thing has been planned further than a few chapters. There is also a lot of convenient coincidences that help out the protagonist, these disable interesting storytelling: you won't be moved to tears.

The art is reasonable if not a little inconsistent, beware, as of this review the official translation is at 24, its a lot ...

I don't know why this manhua is an 8/10, I don't hate it, I enjoy it, but it really doesn't differentiate from other "cultivation talentless to hotshot" manhua, though I should add that even though I've read so much power fantasy cultivation manhua, the reincarnation, isekai, modern world variants, murim to modern world, modern world to murim kind, I've read so many of them that if I took my time and if MAL was more inclusive for manhua and manhwa, it'd make me look like a seasoned manga reader, I've read so many of those comics that all of them look the same, read the ...
