Samurai Champloo is a series I've always remembered. Asking me what was one of the best sword fighting anime and I'd say the obvious. Its been a long time ago, and recently, I've only viewed crappy anime series one after the other, especially this winter season in MAL, so I've rewatched the samurais in action, though still at episode 3. Some series this season, I've already read in manga so there's no surprise there if I don't watch the moving pictures. The unknown part is gone so why bother.
I could say though, if I read a manga version of this series, I would be missing
...
out big time, as the one quality that makes this series great is its sequence of movements. The almost real time actions, swordfights was captured here. This is just my opinion, I'm no sword fighting expert, if such things exist, but when a swordsman swings a sword, this movement would be in a flash, then he would move in a way to balance himself and prepare either for a defense, or offence. What I mean is that he/her movements would be based on the momentum he/she created and I observed this on Samurai Champloo.
Though I have great admiration for the animation, the story does not come behind either. This wouldn't be a rated 9 if it weren't so, as I put utmost importance in stories. A high spec computer would be useless for a novice programmer. I think 80 percent of entertainment value comes from the story to the many of us. And two samurais itching to end each other but can't because of this promise they were forced to take due to circumstances is such a story. I mean, they had this honor as a samurai. And to top if off, a revenge plot is involved here. Two characters with opposite personalities and a cute, strong willed girl in a period where swords unsheathed to problems unresolved? Doesn't get any better, wouldn't you say?
By the way, I've only noticed it now, perhaps I forgot, but why Champloo... oh yeah (literally just remembered this after a 5 second pause) , it's because of the samurai, a different one, whose the objective of this whole series smells of champloo, a kind of flower, as the girl remembers it, the only clue for this deadly mission of theirs.
Thanks for reading...

There's no need me writing this as is evident to the continuous list of reviews with rated 10 but with free time comes great.. no, not great but a responsibility to write a review from a not so imaginative, opinionated person who dreams to be a writer.
The Breaker is a series that broke from the overrated fighting solo hero, school life routine that is rampant on many comic I've observed. I've read the first 3 chapters or so and I knew I would waste my time for a couple of hours to finish the volumes available, in which, with luck was already completed.
You know
...
the story. A teen in school. Weak and socially awkward, bullied. And here, with a drum beat, the master, feared and infamous to many great artist, not the one with paint brushes. The kid asks the teacher, literally as this master was a teacher at the time, to teach him kick ass. Typical story? Not. Read the other articles here. They have said it eloquently. But since this is a review and I have to detail the awesomeness, and justify my 8 rating, here goes... boom, wa paahhh. then girls go ahhhhh.. ohh he's so awesome! then hero goes as long as good exists, evil never prevails... I will save you ... ugh. noooo. I will never give up yo! (scratch the yo)...
And that is why it's a manga worth watching (I mean reading, man. sheesh, really). Hope I convinced you, if you're still not at this point, which is quite impossible considering this so majestically written piece of shit.. ah. I mean art.

So, a review for this one.
A girl detective, with her side kick, kid.
Stories with mystery, being it's a detective series, kind of.
Setting is in some medieval period, in some place in Europe, remembering it narrated at the first part of the episode.
Since it was popular and with nice ratings, I started it, then, immediately knew this wasn't a suited anime for my preference.
...
There is a background with the girl, a mysterious one. hahah. that's just... Of course there are background stories for all characters, and there is no need of telling it'd tip to being a mysterious one...
Anyway, a MYSTERIOUS girl, dressed fashionably, was found in a tippy top of a building, by that sidekick of boy I mentioned earlier. At first impression, the girl was unfriendly, one you obtain for being secluded for quite a while. Kind of a sherlock vibe, but I just can't take a girl, that looked like a doll seriously and since the series seems to want a serious, kind of, like 1/4 of the story, well, that's ruined. That's just isn't logical. Top it off with being secluded all her life? Reading into people's mind pattern, scenarious, solving those "crimes", is like your watching a cartoon... oh wait... guess you can't take these things seriously... but the story did want a 1/4 seriousness in their end, If the vibe I got was correct.
The sidekick is typical, a stumbling idiot, narrating the whole thing, THE john watson. Typical meaning rightous, you know what I mean in a typical anime MC, ones that aren't trying to be funny.
Oh.. just realized, there was this police officer, a detective, who is taking the credit of the girl's solved crime. with permission, with the help.
Ha.. a complete rip off, with just some added shinanigans of an anime.
end...

My last review was one for the best. It seems fair to have one, in which in my opinion is one of the worst.
This anime, though I can't believe, was finished. Completed. Done. Processed. Though it may be that way, no information can be recalled as I try, with effort and reluctance, to write this review.
The plot found in MAL is all that I could remember, even some, I was reminded.
In short, this was very forgettable as I have seen this series just this year. That's just no good. Normally so.
The story is graded 3. As the powerful cool kid deals this encounters with
...
whims, many overrated scenarios come to play. Girls, left and right, of all kinds would fall. Enemies strong as they may be, was put down with clear predictability. This was as direct and straight as a horizon, and clearly, the outcome, like a boat floating a mile away, can be seen by anyone with eyes.
The art is 5. Ordinary and bland. Incomparable from most anime. Perhaps the style is chosen best for the story. Having an ordinary eye for art, I failed to see the difference.
The sound is 6. The sound seems good. With expertise the same as in art category, you can't trust me in this too.
Enjoyment is the lowest it could ever be. As I think back, I still can't believed I completed this. I make a list of anime I watched and completed and that's how I this got a review. Being an unforgotten anime, I considered that very bad.
Thanks for reading.

though unneeded, a review must be written for one of the best anime series of the year.
For those few that's still hesitant to start, not believing there are, but if there is, well, you don't have to finish this review. You would be losing a chance for some enlightenment not continuing, but still, it's that good.
I'm joking of course.
Though I've no credibility to say this, I'll be one of the thousands of voices, including your friends, classmates, teachers, senators, parents, grandparent, great grandparents, great great great grandparents, that creepy shady looking dude (that's probably me!).
An unseemly hero, always be looked down from his stature, appearance,
...
and coolness. Especially coolness. But that's only for those that judge the book by its cover. Though i think that sometimes necessary, but not in this circumstances, you will see if you do decide to watch, convinced by my review.
That coolness. Bald, pajamas, yellow all over. Definitely not your typical super hero, but to me, and perhaps all its viewers, Saitama is the history of coolness, the root of all bad assery. His shining bald head grows exceedingly bright, outshining even a star, when he punches, his trade mark move, one-punch. Not exciting? guess again. This 12 episode series is full of that move yet somehow, people are so interested with their fighting scenes. Curious? Even more curious is the long on-going manga, in which this anime is based upon.
Thanks for reading. xmas

ost!
neck breaking speed, at every turn, cross, and lead. Hair, clothes ripples as every cart/race car tumbles, and engine rumbles.
After a while, you learn the exhilarating familiar hum at the start of the race, then with the call for 3... 2... 1... woooo!
The start of a race, and not just any race, with the power of story telling, we are immersed on every feelings, emotions, condition, and reactions as this opponent over takes the mc, or when an intentional bump, or an accident, connects.
In summary, a kid that always dreamed in the path of a race track. Lacking from any resources, money, time,
...
sponsors, team, us, viewers, are facing reality, blood and sweat. Perhaps even succeed and that is adventure. The unpredictability of this series is quite familiar.
This was a treat, and although I was an elementary student since I've last glimpsed "Capeta", an imprint can never be erased, thus saw this page and got the need to write for a review, not with pauses for remembering, but with fluency and ability for exceptional memory, which is uncommon of me.
thanks for reading.

a hero with a sword. stranger. just pops out. real strange.
foreigners. comes to seek havok.
in a world where bandits roam,
a country, the setting, in the process of developing.
samurais walks in horses, with their swords, and arrogance plastered in their faces.
a boy in need of help, with his sidekick, that dog, quite intelligent.
that boy, in pursuit,
...
the boy meets the samurai.
and the story moves there...
the speed, movements, most adequate for a samurai movie.
though this story has those villians with whips,
dogs that can defeat a samurai.
so, that is this kind.
death is a threat, though. you can feel it. normally so as swords slices pass by your neck at a needles width. so some are good, some unrealistic.
an enemy, introduced as super skilled, those foreigners, i said before.
there is this thing, from comments, that involving animals, like horses, in animation doesn't come cheap? no idea,
but they weren't thrifty in this one, so that seems to be good. the prospects of animation in this movie.
I was looking for a bit, that is similar to "Samurai Champloo", and it is. a character, needed saving, hired some stranger, that became the title of this movie.
it is short, so it is compact, no prolonging, that is one good quality of a movie.
check it out.. *** !!! ~~~ __--
oh. as i wrote this, i am watching, and i was quite impressed. a thrown knife out of nowhere, was made so cool in this anime, the sounds as it swooshed by, a slo mo, edging neear the screen, and went past faster, heading to a mc's position.
watch out for the bridge scene!
a quality of unsuspected events, it has this character!

Now this is the one.
So real. REal. Perhaps I've come across this good a quality of the past 2x, in an anime.
problems, ranging from a kid's and adult's. making this a relatable watch from many generations. so easy.
It's not the appearance, well, perhaps it is, but most of all, what they say and do is most adorable, impressive.
I suspect this is continued in a manga..
so im gonna take off from there.
rekkonsuru koto ga toka, kekkonsuru toka... and relationships
you'd think the kid need saving, probably she was as young ones are fragile, but she is also strong in some ways, and that was impressive.
the series
...
show them faults, show them skills. it is real again i say.
always believed, the more realer, the more bettereer.
i wonder why other series, dont do this.
one piece has it. that factor where they can be relatable.
if its a fantasy, it is no excuse. moreso even.
but with this series, not only it depicts the present age, it used it's tool, realism, real well (no expert)
check out the first ep,
i think this can be from all ages.
it teaches life.

guess the mindless fantasy, gunning for a quick funny bit is gone. been dropping series left and right recently.
a new subject to cling in to. slick, pleasant story about life (school in this instance).
and not just some mindless, dreadful story series, this one, from the first episode, got it right.
I liked the dialogues. As the conversations move on, there is a gradual set for a comedy bit. well placed. And direct, meaning, speeches like, "hey, how's the weather today, have you seen the movie last week, by the way, [the real topic]" none of that.
I liked those series, no matter the genre. you can see
...
it, even at the first episode, the quality, as you judge the quality of a musical piece at the first seconds.
A thing though, one that gives an anime an advantage is sound, aside from the moving scenes. this anime utilized it well.
from the past, never mind the sounds/effects. minding everything as i judge at the first episode, I was aware of it. bit of sound here and there, as they talked, that's quite suiting. *patatpaptaptpbobobmbobmom,.. yeah....~~~
The setting is obvious, it is about life in school, interactions, befriending, and changes, as the development goes.
the characters interact well. no split personality here.
The picture, animation, and style, is good enough. close to reality. it was enough. looked alive.
i've always been into "after dying, reincarnated in to fantasy world" plot. quite similar here, except for the fantasy world, not literally anyway. given a 2nd chance, living, in an intersting life again. this is a story presented to us.
check it out.

I will now review this one. bwahahahahahaha!
A refreshing story.
I have been laughing, every episode. though not all the time, i didn't find myself not laughing for every episode.
Their antics are all relatable. Not what they appeared to be, this created a hilarious setting. defeating the demon lord, usually involves characters in it journeying for that objective, only to see themselves, laboring to have food in their table, or at least something that resembles one.
Thus their adventure starts at episode 1, and gradually, the story develops. You'd think things would start at the usual road, where hero defeat demon lord arc, when a dark enemy
...
appears before them, only to be twisted. It was very funny. Unexpected.
Oh, they would try to create serious scenes. But they just can't help it. Their characters prevent it from becoming that.
I grade this one an 8 out of 10. Since the 4 MC created an element of hilarious comedy, it is in this field that i place this a the top 5 shelve for this years best so far.
It's been a long time since i laughed with an anime series.
Thanks for reading my review.
