They both are written by the same author, so the humor and drawings are similar. Both aren't your typical shoujo stories either; they are both unique. Tokyo Crazy Paradise has a whole lot more fighting scenes than Skip Beat where there's kicks and little devil spirits. But in both, the main character undergoes amazing transformations which make you want to see more.

Orphan girls take on the identity of the opposite gender to achieve their goal, but find an unexpected love in a gang leader along the way.

Both have a girl disguised as a boy, and the boy they like knows they are a girl. Both are also hilarious!

Although I think the plot lines of TCP and Oresama Teacher are not all that similar, what reminds me of the other respective series when I read either of them is their amazing senses of humor. Both are quite hilarious and in somewhat the same ways. In addition, I suppose they both have the yakuza/yankee/fighting thing in common as well, too, so if you liked either series, you should give the other a try!

These share a school environment, yakuza, slow developing romance and a female lead that is somewhat oblivious to love. Each is a long read that is definitely worth the effort.

girls in disguise to protect an important person. the only difference is that in TCP the girl protects a guy.
reportRecommended by nalty7
The guy isn't one is actually a girl with a strong look and fighting spirit.

Both have a lot of hand to hand fighting, and have parts of it as school. The female is the main character in both stories, but aside from that, Red Lion is mainly the female attempting to leave her fighting past behind to look towards the future, while Tokyo Crazy Paradise is more of the female disguised as a boy and fighting to not only survive, but to find love, and to fulfill her dreams. I love both, and while Tokyo Crazy Paradise is a bit of a long read, it is worth it, while Red Lion is more for a shorter read, and has  read more

Those who have wings or Tsubasa wo motsu mono and Tokyo crazy paradise are really similair manga's. Both of them take place in the future. And Kotobuki has the same cheerfulness as Tsukasa. Both of them are humorous and have a lot of action.

Both manga have girls that can utterly kick ass...

both have a bodyguard master romance and the bodyguard is a girl in both n the boys r both snob rich kids
reportRecommended by aaimz14
The heroine in both stories are very similar for they are stronger than most girls both physically and mentally. They both are inexperienced in love so once a man, and not just any man, a HUNK who harbors feelings for the heroine, who is also equally beautiful, what will happen next?
reportRecommended by majiloveanime
Both about a female guarding and protecting a rich dude.
reportRecommended by crimsondrop7
Both contain strong-willed heroines that don't depend on their counterparts to protect them.
reportRecommended by comico
The main character for both stories is a girl who dresses up like a guy. Tokyo Crazy Paradise has the girl become a bodyguard for the male lead. Ingenuo has the girl become the assistant for the male lead. Either way, the couples spend a lot of quality time together. Both male leads do their best to keep the MC's by their side, and hit the girls too. TCP has a lot more action, and violence. Ingenuo has more drama and art. Either way, the main characters are really similar. Especially the female leads. Tsubasa and Dyang are REALLY similar except one is interested  read more

Shoujo manga that deals with a theme unusual for said demographic - mafia, crime and underground in general, containing it's deal of violence and drugs.
reportRecommended by abystoma2
Both mangas have girls being bodyguards that despite their appearance are very good at it, and when it's time to fight their personality change.
reportRecommended by SleepyTigress
These are kind of similar in that both of them have a girl pretending to be a guy. Also, the love interest is a guy that the girl constantly bickers with. The main story premise is different because Tokyo Crazy Paradise is about yakuza instead of basketball.
reportRecommended by peach89
Both the main characters are acting as boys because of a debt. Ouran High School Host Club is more fun though. Tokyo Paradise has action mostly
reportRecommended by Jollyranchy
the relationship between the main leads in both the stories are heir of a distinguished family and their bodyguards, both of the manga have action elements, unknown past which are revealed later and complicated birth circumstances of female leads

If you like strong women who get the job done. Then you should check out song of the monarch.
reportRecommended by Cookie11
Both are sci fi action stories that are shoujo and both have a kind of gritty like world setting as well too and some elements of romance.
reportRecommended by Disapeared_Ghost
Both mangas are about yakuza and the main girl having “blood” in them that makes them insanely good a fighting. They both also have romance in them between two strong fighters
reportRecommended by aafifi
They both contain gender bender plus the male lead falls in love first
reportRecommended by sakura1414
Both manga have the same persona for main couple. The girl, though capable, is dump and thick-headed, the boy is doting on her all the time and tries to somehow protect either from herself or from dangers she jumps into. Well, in Special A it is more shoujo-like. In Tokyo Paradise it is more of an action.

It just gave me the same feeling. there both very cute.. in tokyo crazy paradise there is more action but their both about a girl who denies here love at first.

Simple; Yakuza. Both of them live in the world of the Yakuzas
reportRecommended by Ruie_Lyon
In both of them a girl is taken in the world of the yakuza to repay their debt
reportRecommended by kirasakuya
In both of them a leader of the yakusa and his/her bodyguard fall in love

They are truly similar although i prefer Tokyo Crazy Paradise(read it before I guess...). Tokyo Crazy Paradise: future yakuza land (although not to far.. its still mostly possible to see in the world) Hot Blooded Woman: more romance directed then Tokyo Crazy....

Both have a lot of hand to hand fighting in it, and though both use weapons, only Tokyo Crazy Paradise has guns in it. Both are long reads, and Ranma 1/2 is more humor/comedy with the main character getting beat up. Also, Ranma 1/2 has more of a cartoonish art style, while Tokyo Crazy Paradise has a more shoujo art style to it. Also, Tokyo Crazy Paradise has mafia, and a bit of mecha and blood in it, while Ranma 1/2 has magic. Another thing is that while Tokyo Crazy Paradise has a solidified ending with the two main characters knowing the other's feelings, and  read more

It's also a gender bender. The main characters are both girls that dress like boys but for different circumstances and they both protect a guy. Tokyo Crazy is a has a Yakuza twist to it.

The art in NotB reminded me a lot of TCP--mostly the way the eyes were drawn and how the men have wide shoulders and skinny waists. The heroines are both strong fighting girls. Also, at the beginning of NotB, the people trying to eliminate the Black Demon kind of reminded me of the gangs in TCP. They are both exciting and dramatic manga. If you liked one, I think you'll like the other, even though NotB has some magical/supernatural elements and TCP doesn't.
reportRecommended by xMiki-chan
So far the romance in this series reminds me of TCP. THe main lead makes a lot of blunt comments and teases the main female lead like ryuji does to tsukasa. The main female lead also has a secret to keep.
reportRecommended by Cookingboard
In both, one person doesn't let the other go because of the debt they have (or so they say). However, Okane ga nai is yaoi manga.
reportRecommended by Hiromi_Ise
In both a tom boyish tough girl gets involved with a gang which is the exact kind of people she hates the most!! She has to stay by the gang leader's side because either she has to pay off a huge debt (tokyo crazy paradise) or has to become the girlfriend of the gang leader (Cutie Boy) but as she gets to know the gang leader she finds out that he's not so bad, when he's not annoying her!!! Both of these series are really good :)
reportRecommended by hunnysenpai
Both of these stories follow teenaged women of great strength who dress as men. They are each a part of prophesies that they themselves aren't aware of. Also, both closely tied to a man who is a leader with strong morals and great dedication to his followers/people.
reportRecommended by LiuPi
they both have a girl who is very good at fighting and the guy has duties he has to do and there are alot of reasons they cant be together, or kinda just get in their way and it includes their parents too. But it is alot more romancy than tokyo crazy paradise. but i think youll like this one too.
