Im reading Mikai no Hoshi. It seems a little be too forced... ALL WOMEN are bitches and ALL MEN are bastards, with the exception of the main character. Hope to enjoy more Freesia and Jigoku no Alice... and for sure I'll like Tropical Citron. I've already read some chapter of it on mangafox. It reminds me of Miike's movies

Eh, I remember that Koinobori thingy, the anime flashed that thing few times on screen. ~.~ I didn't know it is the symbol for Children's day, now I know. :) That's cool trying to reconstruct the series' timeline, but how do you know the date or month in which the event took place? Was it mentioned in the series? o.O

I don't remember if I bawled @ the disappearance the last time I watched it, but this time, I only teared up, my eyes got wet, but the tears won't fall down until episode 70, Hikaru finally realizes that Sai who was gone, who couldn't be found no matter how hard he searched, is in his Go, then Sai's fan touched down as Hikaru places the stone on the Go board, that's when I started crying really hard, that was a really powerful but beautiful scene. The whole arc was depressing as hell, no joke. Too bad, there were some side stories in between, kinda.. spoiled the mood, bad timing from the studio/director.

I want a sequel so much after I done watching Hokuto Cup 1h special sequel!! URHGGGH!!

I see, I understand where you are coming from, but I don't see shoujo as realistic, it is just as unrealistic as shounen, dense characters, super hot guy in shoujo who falls in love with super normal girl/super hot girl in shounen who falls in love with super normal guy, those are just some examples. Maybe you should graduate from shoujo and try reading some good mature josei or seinen. XD

You should read the side stories, the one MAL entry with 5 chapters, they give a closure to the couples, much like an epilogue, but one or two of them feature Sentaro and his days before he entered priesthood.

I am rewaching Hikaru no Go now, still liking most of the parts, but there was a period where I thought things were moving too slow. I am also trying to avoid the inevitable
