Until Black Lagoon starts getting released again, Jormungand is where its fans should look for their psychotic lady sexiness + guns fix. The blend of light-hearted interaction, death and serious subject matter in general, as well as the emphasis on scary-but-hot ladies, makes them easy to place together. Both deal with the transporting of cargo as mercenary teams attempt to protect the goods until they reach their destination; shooting anything that gets in their way. Women lead the way with insane smiles/laughter in Jormungand, as well as Black Lagoon. The most deadly characters in the two are female and in Jormungand the heroine is the lead  read more

Both manga contain characters, with their past dark and painful. They all commit crimes and do dirty work just to get by. Despite committing heinous crimes, they are renowned in their field of expertise. If you enjoy a manga that holds the truth of the world, where people lose their lives and where you can see how people are truly greedy, these mangas both fit the criteria quite well. Both main characters are very good fighters.

Both Black Lagoon and Dogs: Bullets & Carnage (and it's prequel, Dogs) have great action sequences, cutting edge art, and a cast of interesting and colorful characters. Both have characters that make a living out of shady, if not illegal work, and awesome gunslingin' action. In between all this gritty fighting, both series have time for refreshing humor. Although Dogs: Bullets & Carnage has more of a serious, gloomy overtone, I highly recommend it for anyone who likes Black Lagoon, and visa versa. Plus, both series have creepy, eerily cute, homicidal twins. Now who can resist that?

Both Marginal Operation and Black Lagoon share a number of story elements, with a "socially awkward" Japanese NEET/Salaryman getting entangled in the exploits of a Mercenary/PMC/Pirate outfit. Black Lagoon is generally lighter in tone, but both series play on the humor of the protagonist not fitting in with his hardened surroundings.

Engaging action, there's always some intense battles between characters, lots of suspense and I think, although it's a lot more mature than Naruto, it's a great experience for all to enjoy.

Similar vibes and mafia world

Crazy and super hot girls with BIG guns with Ecchi galore!! and no mercy is shown. Characters die horrible deaths and the villains kill without a flinch and with a smile on their faces.

Black Lagoon and Darker than Black: Shikkoku no Hana are pretty similar manga. Both manga have a similar setting and involve mercenaries. Both have similar art styles as well to boot. Darker than Black: Shikkoku no Hana has a lot more supernatural stuff going on and is slightly more violent, so keep that in mind. While I can recommend both, watch at least the first season of the Darker than Black anime before trading Darker than Black: Shikkoku no Hana. I got very similar vibes from both manga, so I can assume that fans of one will like the other.

Both are action with bounty hunter, criminals and such. Also characters are interesting in both of them.

Both Tista & Revy are girls drowned in a spiral of violence, who learned to kill since they were kids, and who get involved with an average guy who is a stranger of this dark side of the world, but chooses to follow her anyway. She will then become his bodyguard. Also, Tista having a dangerous, evil side, popping out every now and then, reminded me of Roberta. Same vibes with plenty of gunfights, action, murders, mafia, violence, and the same dirty, corrupted city setting.

Chicks kicking butt, and both have the feel like they belong in a Hollywood action flick, due to their American-like feel/settings/characters.

What is perhaps interesting is that Ichi The Killer can pass as a story subset for Black Lagoon given its focus on yakuza, illegal dealings, and action.

Their characters and plots resemble somewhat to each other. Rintarou and Rock both fall into an adventurous 'trade', whether it's salvaging or shipping (or rather smuggling) on sea, riding old ships. Anyway, we have hot chicks in each: Hiro and Revy, both cursed with dark past and scars of unfriendly childhood (literally, ho-ho...). The sidekicks are also cool and nice guys, please pair them up as you wish, my guess is the following: the omniscient Sawa-chan is tally of Dutch, and 'Gramps' of Benny, but there is not perfect similarity. Anyway, both story is unique and awesome in sense of adventure, interesting quests and loveable  read more

For two reasons one , you have a Heroine who has no remorse at all at pulling the trigger and secondly, both deal with a romance albeit not your average one to say the very least. Black lagoon is a superior read but Anne freaks does share a lot of similarities as well.

Bullets and fists as the only way of negotiations. Main characters with shady past, far from being innocent , twisted by life so sometimes you'll think that in "villians" they deal with is more common sense and composure

Much the same as both contain Guns, Money, Bounty hunting, and violence. Both stories have a dominate, strong and sexy female lead character that doesn't play around and will strike on a drop of a dime. The two manga's show the ways of the street life trying to survive in a hostile environment to make ends meat.
