Their characters and plots resemble somewhat to each other. Rintarou and Rock both fall into an adventurous 'trade', whether it's salvaging or shipping (or rather smuggling) on sea, riding old ships. Anyway, we have hot chicks in each: Hiro and Revy, both cursed with dark past and scars of unfriendly childhood (literally, ho-ho...). The sidekicks are also cool and nice guys, please pair them up as you wish, my guess is the following: the omniscient Sawa-chan is tally of Dutch, and 'Gramps' of Benny, but there is not perfect similarity.
