Fujiyama-san wa Shishunki and Neko no Otera are both stories that are excessively simple but make great use of such simplicity. Really the stories in both are pretty much little to nothing, only focusing on everything life casually throws, which is school and the likes considering these are stories based on students. On that matter both MCs Gen and Kanba are very similar in that they both gain a sense of dedication to the person they are with, going out of their way to better themselves to make them suitable for the one they are particularly fond of. Somewhat similar issues come up with the two finding themselves in somewhat perverted situations. Both are great Ojiro Makoto manga I would say are exemplary in the romance genre offering real stories at a pace that is fast enough for everyone to be satisfied with. Another work from the author. I think as Fujiyama was made first, you can see a very similar art, and notice how an already beautiful art got even better with Chion-san. Fujiyama is another wholesome story you can read without any worries, give it a try! 

Both series are by the same author within the same genre and tone. That alone is a pretty decent reason why someone may enjoy both. Both series feature a boy and girl growing closer and building up a connection. The impetus for this varies between the two, along with the characters being all very different. "Fujiyama-san wa Shishunki" is more ecchi than "Kimi wa Houkago Insomnia" 

Insomniacs and Fujiyama-san wa Shishunki both are very simple stories that may seem bad but are actually very well made in the name of simplicity. Often times simple stuff gets associated with generic though I must assure you with the entire premise of simple romance here Insomniacs and Shishunki are all the better to read as they execute their stories well. Based on the lives of students experiencing their own set of difficulties being accompanied by the one they are associated with. It ends up making for a wholesome story that whilst they may seem like little they are a one of a kind in the grand scape of the medium. Both are great Ojiro Makoto manga that does a splendid job at conveying a realistic romance story. Both are very easy to read, fast chapters and quite fluffy. read more 

Here to second the opinion to read this. Both are pretty fantastic. Similar story lines but Kyou is more comedic I felt while Fuji was a bit more dramatic. Don't get me wrong both have heavier moments and heart strings scenes. Very enjoyable, highly recommend both.  

Main characters are in a secret relationship with low stakes. Main girl is a tall, soft-spoken athlete and main boy is a short, underdog type character. Relationship is fairly wholesome throughout both series with occasional fan-service moments. While Fujiyama-san is mostly slice of life, Saotome Senshu has more of a sport plot. Both can be finished in 1-3 days.

Similarities : Tall girl, short guy. Comedy School Life Romance Dissimilarities : Lovely Complex is "Shoujo", while Fujiyama-san wa Shishunki is "Seinen" with "Ecchi".
