Hey man! Wow it has been a while! How are you?
Uni is going good, I completed by undergrad and started my masters degree lol, unfortunately that means I'm busier than I used to be :/
As for creative...i picked up some video editing skills and started making AMVs during the lockdown XD
I've been keeping up with manga and anime but I haven't had the time for anything big. Although I recently finished this web novel called Rebirth of the Thief who Roamed the World, it was pretty decent, had some great worldbuilding.
What about you? How have you been?
It's great to hear from you again!
I am terribly late, but very thankful. You calling me a friend always makes me feel warmth, thank you! Stuff has been happening for me, that's why I have been inactive, but I hope I am on a track for a better place. How are you? Hope you're deservedly great.
Ikr TKA is my favourite webnovel and the author's writing style is really good
As for Uni life...well it's cool, this is a nice place that really wants to let you be creative so we have lots of freedom XD
But I've got an exam tomorrow, its a bit hard and I'm still preparing for lol the teacher wants to make us all philosopher XD
Yeah The King's Avatar is awesome, the author has a real knack for setting up potentially drama-heavy situations and settling them with a few simple lines(which never fails to catch you off-guard). TKA is the only webnovel I'll 100% recommend to anyone lol
Honestly I really haven't got to watch anime since coming here,I watched a few episodes of Death March.
I'm also watching the TV show Narcos(Spanish homework believe it or not XD)
Ah I'm mostly okay now, getting ready to leave for university.
As for webnovels just like manga, there's japanese, korean and chinese.
It's hard to find completed chinese webnovels but they're usually the best imo
The King's Avatar is one my favourite webnovels,it had an anime adaptation recently,if you haven't watched it,it's about pro-gamers and is really funny + lots of great action
Against the Gods or Martial God Asura are the standard martial cultivation novels, they generally have the same basic plot outline and will follow a character with who has an "ability" and will grow up to be the strongest on earth, will leave earth and start over from the bottom rung on a higher plane and gradually becomes the strongest in the universe, will probably get a harem along the way(they'll mostly be ignored)
Transmigration has pretty much become a genre in webnovels, MC will for some reason(explained or usually not) transmigrate to a different world or travel back a few years into his/her past, I liked Night Ranger under this category
Everyone Else Is A Returnee and Seoul Station's Necromancer which I've told you about before can considered as something of a reverse-transmigration type of novels
I also liked the Mistaken Marriage Match series
It has 6 books, the first 3 are the story of 3 sisters, two of whom have actually died and had the souls of two women from the modern era transmigrate into their body. They were "gifted" to the Emperor,Prime Minister and General of an ancient chinese dynasty. And they end up married to them. So the general's wife is an ex-military SWAT-trained officer who retired due to injuries and became a police officer and the minister's wife is a genius forensic doctor and the police girl's best friend. Together they make a name for themselves and well lots of stuff happens, the one who got married to the emperor has a bit more of a darker story with the emperor initially being a complete a**hole and whatever(made the general who initially completely ignored his wife he never wanted and kept arguing with her because he was a tsundere look cute in comparison). Well it's all a bit complicated and you won't really understand unless you read it,but the 3 stories happen parallel to each other and the book 4-6 are the stories of each of the 3 sisters daughters who ran away to 3 different parts of the continent to have "adventures"(not really running away 'cuz their parents knew they were running off and the wives told their husbands to stop worrying and leave the kids alone) and likewise the 3 stories happen parallel to each other
