A humorous supernatural story with unwitting humans winding up involved with hell and demons.

Currently the Gugure! Kokkuri-san manga has only 2 chapters scanlated. Thus this review will be mostly based on knowledge from the show and those 2 chapters. So we got a little girl, a gang of supernatural bishounens, and a whole lot of fun! These comedy orientated manga/anime are focused on the mishaps of a little girl's life surrounded by spirits, demons, and priests, oh my! While there is a form of "romance" in the story it really turns into a parental sort of relationship, as the older spirit/demon becomes the guardian of the little girl they were initially trying to harm. A story that, at first glance, would seem like lolicon, but instead have much more innocent relationships between the "young adult" male lead and the significantly-younger female lead (who happens to be an orphan in both). Both series are about an age-gap romance between an adult and a minor, nothing too serious or depraved, it's mostly about the cute part of it in both cases.

Different stories but they're both gag manga having somewhat similar universe and comedy, where demons and angels stay/visit the human world or more specifically in japan to lay low until they gained more power to go back to their original world for Hataraku, while for Ore ga Akuma to create contracts and consume souls. Also their jokes and quite similar. The only difference is, Ore ga Akuma is more of a lolicon RomCom and mostly focuses on demons contracts while Hataraku has mild romance and more on the perks of a part-timer.

Shoujo Comedy about a girl who makes a contract with a demon.

Absurd age gap "romance" manga that are more comical in nature as a result. The lead girls make the stories so entertaining because they are determined, precocious, and adorable.
