666Satan. When you first see that name you probably expect something really gory and R+ rated or something that you think will be totally NOT worth reading. How wrong you are....And let me tell you hat changed my mind :]

Story: Something quite captivating; the whole O-Parts concept,the other path of evolution and the Kabblah really are something different than what you usually read. Not too long and drawn out, the story is just the right size even having enough room for 3 time period looks( which all look awesome on the characters). The only thing that put me off was the clumped together information ... / battles. Maybe it's just a pet peeve but it slightly bothered me not seeing main characters for 3-4 (50 page long) chapters. Other than that, the plot really carries a deep meaning, sprinkled with those values that make us all go "Awww".The story is a 9.

Art: A lot of arguments can be brought up here as the style is VERY similar to that of Naruto. Yet you cannot call it a copy as in some parts it's actually better than Masashi's (I personaly think Seishi's post time-skip characters in some parts are superior to Masashi's). Anyway, the style fits the story like a glove on a hand. What made me from giving it a 10 was the sometimes corseness of the art, especially at the beginning. Other than that, in my opinion, it's actually a refreshing change compared to pretty-eyed, stylish and deatailed manga. You feel the rawness of power and action through the art and that draws out the full enjoyment. A 9.

Character: The strongest point in the manga, supporting the story 120% and fullfilling the arts expectations. All the characters have different pasts that are very often entertwined with others. All of them hold their own unique personalities and you can get a lot of enjoyment from any of them. This is probably the only manga where I don't have a hated(or deeply disliked) character. All of them show something to the reader and character interactions are simpy superb! The way they develop thoughout the story is also very believable and fitting so I think if you enjoy having a hard time choosing a favourite from a favourite, you should choose these guys. They deserve a 10!

Enjoyment: When sitting down to a chapter, you can feel the impatience bubbling inside of you, waiting to see what will happen next. And that is rightly so! I enjoyed many of the Ruby/Jio interactions (proabably 'cause I'm a romantic at heart), the O-Part battles, the steady unraveling of the plot. All of these factors made me read the story with feverish excitment and raised my enjoyment to one of the higest ones possible. I really got a full 10 out of the manga.

Overall: A manga worth the time and money. A bit of effort might be necessary to get into it (not to mention the english name isn't exactly flattering) but when you finaly get drawn into the story, it'll be very hard to withdraw. Shonen, Action, Supernatural, Spiritual and people can argue but I decide that there is definite Romance, this is a manga you really should pick up if you have the chance. I'm sure you won't be disappointed!

666 Satan, written by Seishi Kishimoto (twin brother of Naruto's author Masashi Kishimoto), inspite of what it's title might make you think, is an tipical shounen series that tells the story of Jio Freed and Ruby Crescent and their quest to find legendary O-Parts ("magical" items left by an ancient civilization).

Even with this simple premise, 666 Satan has in fact a relatively complex plot, in this manga Seishi Kishimoto used various elements from religions all around the world, but most of all from Judaism (so, if you fell you might get offended or something, you shouldn't read this), to create a new world, that lives ... an constant conflict, derived from it's own history, and to make it more beliavable, it's filled with a great variety of towns, each with it's unique wheater, culture and what not. In fact the story itself deserves an perfect score, however, the way it was told wasn't flawless. The pace wasn't always well conduced by the author, rushing at crucial points, and taking a long time to finish arcs that weren't really that important. Although this new "world" created on 666 Satan is really great, the plot itself is quite predictable and filled with clichés (especially towards the end), borrowing elements from many other classic shounens, so, if you already have some "luggage" on the genre, you will be able to tell where the story is going at some points, which makes the experience of reading this manga much less enjoyable.

Given the fact that the Kishimoto brothers started drawing manga together, it's kind of a given that they would have a similar style. This tells all about the art in 666 Satan, it's exactly like Naruto's: simple and clean most of the times, but detailed in the most exciting moments (it gets specially good when he is drawing demons); with lots of varied landscapes; and girls with unusual faces.

By reading this manga I got the impression that in the author's mind, all girls fall in love extremely fast, ALWAYS. There is not one female character in the show that is not in love with someone (usually someone she meet a few days ago). Also, all the "romance" in the manga seems rushed: in one chapter the characters don't care/hate each other, in the next one they are completly in love, which pass a feeling that there is a missing chapter in there. Inspite of this unusual trait in the female characters, they, overall, have an quite captivating personality, even if sometimes they tend to fall back in the tipical shounen character (the same can be said about the male characters).

One of the highest points in this manga (and what makes up for some of it's defects) is basically the fights: as there are countless types of O-Part's, all fights are different from one another, giving the impression that the stronger O-Part or OPT doens't necessarily will win, it will depend on ability of each one to think of the better strategy to use his O-Part and the battleground in his favor, this dynamic makes most (if not all) the fight very entertaining and exciting.

Summarizing, if Seishi Kishimoto had written this manga with a little more experince (perhaps with one or two manga already published) he could have turned 666 Satan into an great shounen (on the same level of Bleach or Naruto), but nevertheless, he wrote a very good story that, even if it's not an "must read", it's recommended for every fan of the genre.

How can I describe '666 Satan'? Probably the first word that comes to my mind would be 'typical'. If anyone is looking for a generic, typical shonen series, than this manga is just what you are looking for. However, I suggest picking another title, because this one is a sad disappointment. The main characters personalities are extremely similar to Bulma and Goku from 'Dragon Ball', with a touch of 'Naruto' - ' I will make my dream come true' philosophy. That being said, we can't expect nothing more of them than dull friendship speeches and fights (which, in my opinion, are just average). As ... story progresses, the title looses it's comedic nature and becomes more serious, however, the plot is so simple and plain that the 'seriousness' can't save it. The thing that tries to save it, but fails, is 'fan service', that we can see a whole lot from about the tenth issue.
The drawing style resembles Masashi Kishimoto style, however, there is a certain problem with characters anatomy (e.g. the arms are too wide or the face is deformed).
In conclusion, I wouldn't recommend this series to anyone. It is simply dull, and it copies schemes from other popular shonen manga. It's better to read them first and leave '666 Satan' alone.

There are two things that stand out about 666 Satan. One the title itself; you'd think it would be some dark themed witch craft suspense thriller about an underground cult or religion just by reading the name of the manga. In reality it's actually an action adventure shounen. And two, it shares many many many similarities to the famous Naruto; from character mannerisms to storyline straight down to its art. Not a surprise as the author is the younger brother of Masashi Kishimoto, creator of Naruto. Although most of 666 Satan feels like just another variation of Naruto just told in a different fantasy land ... filled with its own magical intricacies, it still shares the same thrills and excitement, and even if it feels like a carbon copy, how much you enjoy a manga is all that matters. Well, it did an admirable job around 50 chapters in, and was actually shaping up to be a better read than Naruto, and then it goes straight downhill after a certain point.

Like Naruto himself who is always aspiring to become the Hokage of his village, the hero of this manga, Jio Freed, has a dream himself, just a bit more ambitious; to rule the world. He is joined by a handful of friends as they embark on a journey to fulfill each of their dreams; but like every shounen story, little do they know they're in for another save the world plot. As generic and vague a description that is, it's actually a pretty fun ride. Although the concepts of the O-Parts, specialized weapons each with different and unique attributes to use during battle, are nothing special, the fights themselves are well choreographed and are exciting to watch. Each of the fights are constructed using intense strategies and tactics that almost always have you on the edge of your seat.

It is pretty clear that Seishi Kishimoto devoted quite some time creating the battles, but he also made sure that the story was just as great. Although not to spoil the goods, it's a bit like Naruto's tailed beasts concept, except replace the monsters with demons and angels. Like Naruto who is harboring one of these monsters within him, Jio Freed is also the same who actually carries within him Satan, the strongest of them all. Over the course of the story, we are told bits by bits the mysteries of the these demons and angels, along with the origins of O-Parts and the history of the world. The pacing is one of the best you'll find in a shounen and the execution is just perfect.

Although it may seem like Jio Freed is just a Naruto copy cat, the characters as a whole, including Jio, are just much more likable and believable than the ones in Naruto. They're more developed, they have better chemistry with each other, and just show more emotion. Kirin, this manga's version of Kakashi, just seems to have a more interesting personality, and Ball, who is actually the playful rival of Jio, is actually the better bestfriend compliment as oppose to Sasuke. For a while, 666 Satan was actually molding to be the better version of Naruto.

That is until it hits a certain plot twist, which I should add was absolutely great, but it dives head first into the dumps afterwards. When a manga was being paced so nicely for 50 chapters and offers nothing but quality after quality chapters, and then wraps it up suddenly in just a matter of 26 chapters, it's just unbelievable how one of the better shounen mangas out there is just absolutely ruined. The battles remain somewhat consistent, but the character development and the story just turn into complete shambles. And the sad part is that it wasn't just a matter of declining quality; you could see how the manga would be like if it were stretched out into at least 50 more chapters, but it's as if the editor told Seishi Kishimoto to wrap it up, took out all sense of quality in the remaining plot, and called it a day.

Really a shame. A huge huge shame. It was firing on all cylinders and doing everything great that a manga should be doing. A phenomenally memorable cast, some eye pleasing battles, a nicely paced storyline coupled with some stunning plot twists, but the last 1/3rd of the manga was just bad. Almost bad enough to drag the other 2/3rds into complete mediocrity, but fortunately it wasn't THAT bad. 666 Satan is largely still one of the better shounen reads out there and is a must read for fans of the genre, especially Naruto fans, but expect to be disappointed towards the end, big time.

Story (6/10) Fair

The story for 666 Satan is a fair story, if you are looking for a synopsis you are in the wrong place. The pacing for the first half of 666 Satan was good. Character introductions and the world that they live in were fair nothing super special but it wasn't necessarily too generic or enough to complain about. Some arcs in the story did feel out of place and unmemorable to the overall story. And the time skip that occurs in the last 22/76 chapters of the manga felt like it wasn't necessarily needed. Even though the character designs change ... and they looked cooler which (usually always comes when you have a time-skip in any series so that's given). The reason the time-skip occur felt forced. Why do I say this you ask? Well firstly let just talk about WHEN this timeskip occurred and WHO this mangaka's older brother is firstly. In the manga the first chapter of this time skip as far as the volume (Volume 14 to be exact) release came out in June 22, 2006. Now let's answer this question who is the Managaka's older brother? We all know this it's most likely the reason what intrigues people to read this manga in the first place Mashashi Kishimoto people creator of Naruto yes yes. It's definitely the reason why I gave this manga a chance. Anyway back to my point, time-skips happen in mangas all the time and I'm not saying that because of Naruto having their timeskip a year before 666 Satan has their time skip (Naruto chapter 245 in the year June 2005) is Seishi copying Masashi because that's just an assumption. But Naruto's and 666 Satan's timeskips should have reasons for them occurring right? So let's see spoilers for Naruto pre-time skip if you still don't know what happens but Naruto chases Sasuke to the outskirts of the left village looses their fight Sasuke leaves the village timeskip occurs with Naruto training with Jiraiya to get stronger for the future upcoming conflicts, obstacles and battles any other other bigger reason for the timeskip occurring in Naruto is debatable. Now for the timeskip in 666 Satan which basically occurs because... well Jio get's knocked out and goes missing and his friends search for FOUR YEARS trying to find him, that's basically it. Why didn't Jio try to contact his friends within these four years? My guess is as good as yours, but I'm going to go with the easiest one to fall back on. Plot convenience and a pretty bad excuse/reason to half a time-skip to entice readers that all my characters are all more grown but I'll talk more about that in the character section. Anyway back to timeskips, I'm not going to say it wasn't needed but it kind of wasn't and honestly with that bad excuse of "we couldn't find Jio in 4 years" just wasn't a good enough in story plot excuse and only makes me believe more that the reason Seishi decided to have a timeskip is before Masashi had a timeskip in his manga exactly a year ago. And with Naruto like I said the timeskip happens on chapter 245. Naruto is over now with a hefty 700 chapters so Masashi definitely had a lot more chapters and content to write about before his overall story concluded. But with 666 Satan pulling a timeskip which I already explained why I think it came out of now where is a weak reasoning and to only have the last 22 of the remaining chapters be timeskip content just felt like he didn't need to do a timeskip and when I figured out that a timeskip was going to happen the first thing you do is to get excited because you can't wait to see what the future holds (which is why I think he did his timeskip to turn heads and keep people who may have dropped off during that time to come back and to follow in his brother's footsteps let's just be honest here there was really no legit reason for the timeskip to occur in this manga). The remainder of the story had a couple of cool things which usually comes when you have to reintroduce all of your characters and their new abilities. And it does help that even though it was the last 22 chapters of the manga to be about the timeskip this was a monthly manga that had around 35-46 pages per chapter. And with a mangaka rushing though 30+ page chapters was about to cover everything he wanted within 22 chapters (except one thing of course). One of the IF NOT THE biggest issue I ended up having with the conclusion of this series was the conclusion. Yes I am talking about that "We are True Nakama" ending he gave us because it felt like he just wanted to wrap it up real quick and I'm not a fan of anti-climatic endings that this sure was one. Now I've see worse, but this ending was rather sloppy when it came to telling us what happen after the final fight between Jio and Lucifer. Even Naruto's ending (even though I'm not a fan of that ending either) had a some what more conclusive ending when it came to letting us know what everyone is up to and right at chapter 700 which was nice of Masashi to do. But here it was just "We are true nakama" the end... Anyway I didn't think the entire story was bad because if I did this would be a 4 it isn't a 4 but it's not anything higher than a 6 in my opinion and everything I stated above is my reasons why I feel this way.


Art (8/10) Very Good

As a Kishimoto, I have to give him credit where credit is due. Regardless of how I feel about the content within this manga, character or how it concluded it was indeed drawn very well. Basically if you like the art style Naruto you'll like this also and I didn't think that the art style that the Kishimotos have were bad or good it's very good. He knows how to create to cool and unique looking characters just like his brother and yes since both of their character art styles and designs like damn near identical some character may or may not look like they were ripped straight out of Naruto but once you know that they were brothers and grew up drawing their art style together it's reasonable enough to give it a pass because at the end of the day it looks very good.


Characters (7/10) Good

The characters in 666 Satan are good. The designs on them are good as well and their aren't too generic outside of the main character. But even he (at least pre-timeskip) had a little uniqueness to him. Yes he does have his goal that he'll let you know continuously just like Luffy from One Piece or Naruto (pre-timeskip) where he wants to conquer the world. But at least his personality (at least for a MC) doesn't follow every single generic troupe. He's not willing to make friends when the series first started unlike Luffy, Naruto, Ichigo, Goku etc. He kind of denies that he has friends for the majority of the manga so that's different. And yeah you can say that was just put in there for easy character development in the future of the series but it is what it is. Ball is a cool character also being basically the friendly rival to the MC and probably the only character I thought was enjoyable to experience post-timeskip. Ruby isn't that unique for a female character in my opinion as she kind of shares just a bit too much similarities between Bulma from Dragonball and Sakura from Naruto (it's basically Bulma + Sakura = Ruby honestly). The other supporting, side, rival and antagonist characters aren't anything super special but they aren't worth complaining about too much. Not going to go over all of them but their were fine.


Enjoyment (6/10) Fine

666 Satan I think would be more enjoyable as an anime than a manga. The fight scenes and choreography that happens during majority of the fights in this manga are probably the key enjoyable factor to this manga and that was when I was having the most enjoyment in the series. The comedy was ok nothing super funny the only characters out of the few comedic relief character that I thought stood out is the dog,sheep,wolf creature Jajamaru him he reminds me of Iggy from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Part 3. Other than that it couldn't raise past a 7 for enjoyment because I did feel that majority of this manga (especially for a manga with 35-46 pages per chapter) felt either too rushed in one place and dragging in others. It's like driving a car and pushing the gas down at your hardest kicking it into full gear going as fast as possible then hitting the breaks and tapping it ridiculously softly to the point where your car is moving at a walking pace.

Like I said earlier this would series would be better if it was an anime. 666 Satan is a fine manga but the pacing was weird and it felt like Seishi was too bust looking at what Naruto was doing instead of really focusing on what it wanted to be itself. With that being said do I think it's a Naruto clone? No because a lot of manga will remind you of another manga. But do I think it's anything special? No I don't but I do still hope this does get an anime because like I said the things that it had going for it would be received better if it was animated. The masses and countless of Naruto fans out there that don't know about this series existence would eat this up in a good way. But if you aren't really too fond of Naruto in it's entirety like I ended up being by the end of Naruto then 666 Satan I wouldn't recommend it a good alternative either because it's kind of like saying "If you like Naruto you'll like this" so what do you think the opposite will be? Well there you go..

The first thing you have to know about O-Parts Hunter is this: it’s essentially the zany union of Dragon Ball and Naruto. Like Dragon Ball, it features a young girl on a quest (Ruby Crescent) accompanied by her younger protector (Jio Freed). Like Naruto, the young boy is possessed by an ancient and terrible evil. But while most copy-cats are destined to lurk in the shadows of their source material, O-Parts Hunter rises to the challenge.

Originally called “666 Satan” in Japan, the story follows two kids, Ruby and Jio, as they search for the “Legendary O-Part”. Their ... motivations are very different: Ruby wants to fulfill her father’s dream, while Jio unapologetically states his goal is “World Domination”. Their partnership is both a blessing and a curse for our plucky heroine.

On the one hand, Jio is incredibly strong. Showing all the usual shonen-hero luck and resourcefulness, he manages to save the day just in the nick of time. On the other hand, the demon that possesses this boy is a bloodthirsty monster. Naruto’s Kyuubi looks like a tame kitten in comparison. The devil inside Jio seems determined to destroy anything the boy ever loves, and he frequently gains control of his host to do so.

What I liked most about the story was comparing it to other books, and seeing where they differed. Jio grows up ostracized just like Naruto, but reacts to it in a very different way. Ruby’s resemblance to Bulma seems like an intentional homage—she even has the blue hair!— and she serves well to move the plot along without being too annoying. Even after reading just the first volume, I was already invested in the future of our little hunter duo. As far as shonen series go, this is one to look out for!

I started reading this manga because my friend recommended me this. to clear somethings up, many people say it was a ripoff of naruto but little did they know 666 satan was written and illustrated by masashi kishimoto's brother seishi kishimoto the art and some of the story looks kinda similar to his brother's manga naruto but other than that the 666 satan is entirely different thing.

after finishing this manga i thought this manga would rather be a RPG GAME other than a manga Because The Item Ranking and fighting theme strategies and so on.

For me the bad thing about the manga was 2 ... things 1 was the ending. we all can agree that ending of a story is really hard to write.
and the other was the title. 666 Satan is one of the cool name for a manga but the story didn't do that much justice for the name.

It was a fun read but don't expect too much

666 Satan and Naruto share the same relationship that their respective authors do. They are siblings, with one of them living under the shadow of the other. For a reason? Make no mistake, this brother has his own story of bonds to tell. Friendship, love, ambition, loneliness; these are universal truths. Who is to decide whether you can write a story about those or not, just because it has been done by others as well?

Those looking for similarities, won't have to try hard to spot them. There's Jio Freed, a boy who grew up alone, hated because he had the Kyuub-, I mean Satan sealed ... inside of him. There's the Akatsuki, err, these organizations, trying to capture the tailed be-err, the Angels and Devils. And so on, and so on. Similarities aren't necessarily a bad thing. There's more to 666 Satan, though.

To be honest, I was contemplating dropping this after some chapters. No matter how I looked at it, it was just another Frankenstein of a manga. A mixture of many different popular ideas, which doesn't come up as charming as initially hoped. Also, fanservice is one thing. Having a naked neko hacker giving her explanation of the Big Bang, made me question myself for reading this.

And then, there was the recipe that never fails. Dragonball taught us how to love fighting tournaments. All kinds of different fighters and techniques, competing with each other, with the occasional drama too. Ever since that point, 666 Satan is a non-stop fun ride; a ride never to slow down, as one fight just leads to another, with more and more interesting, powerful characters showing up while the secrets of the Kabbalah unfold.

The amount of time it takes to get to this point is certainly not neglectable. But after this point, there's no reason not to love this. There's non-stop action. Sure, hot girls, hot guys, too. Implementation of more popular "techniques", by skipping some four years, and having these characters "level up"; then you have these brats, turning into some pretty cool looking guys. Some quite emotional side stories, especially towards the end. Some gruesome monsters, which will send body parts flying around. Drawings that keep getting better, too. And more old-school influences; I couldn't help but think of NGE, during this guy's grasp of Armageddon.

Fair or not, when it comes to the unavoidable comparison with Naruto there are three kind of people, the way I see it. Most Naruto fans should effortlessly enjoy their favourite manga's little brother. Even if there is a slim chance for haters to like this, I don't think they would have the patience to get to the point when things get interesting. And, ah, there's a third category too. My favourite. Those who just -have- to be "alternative". "You crazy? I h a t e Naruto, but I l o v e 666 Satan!" I'm sure you do, but instead of arguing about why similarly tasting food tastes similar, let us get back to the point.

Here is a collective of some genuinely interesting characters.This guy's not bad. His intentions are good, and honest; never hiding his influences, and keeping superfluous chapters to a minimum. Personally, I will be looking forward to future works.

In addition to being one of the most amusing examples of a name change for American audiences, O-Parts Hunter (666 Satan) is a derivative but strongly executed fighting adventure manga for young readers.
The art bears a strong resemblance to Masashi Kishimoto's Naruto, perhaps understandably, as Seishi Kishimoto is his twin brother.
Set in a fantasy world where treasure hunters seek ancient artifacts called O-Parts, the story follows Ruby, a treasure hunting girl, and Jio, a young spiky-haired boy who contains the split personality of Satan (who's not nearly as bad as you'd expect).
For the most part, the mood is light and suitable ... for younger teenagers, with Dragon Ball Z-influenced fight scenes and imaginative otherworldly backgrounds.

Personaly I like it because it's very captivating, like DragonBall used to be !!!

When you first pick up this manga, you will probably come from the idea of Seishi being one of the Kishimoto brothers and you want to read some shounen. Well, that is a fair reason to get there. However, when you read 666 Satan(which i would like to call O-Parts Hunter because of the terrible name) you will see it is more than your typical shounen manga.



Seishi Kishimoto goes to extremes when he is using the religious idoms and thoughts, you will find Jio more complex than most of the shounen heroes. Of course it has it is typical shounen moments but it is ... shounen so what else to expect? The main reason i love this manga much more than all the shounens out there is the fact that it has a detailed and actually smart story telling.
Jio sometimes can be very annoying, but his mindset is so emphatically explained that you end up liking him anyway. As you see him grow up with every chapter you and his interact with his "inner self" you get the feel that he is really a part of your life.

Seishi is more fair-hearted when it comes to women than his brother but he still lacks the talent to objectively describe any deep feeling of female characters which is like the only minus of this manga.

The art is your typical shounen art, lots of exagerations and drama, but you will find it more detailed and creative than the most.

I need to say this manga is must read if you are into shounen, and looking for something more intense than the mainstream ones. I suggest you at least give it a try, after first few chapters it gets more interesting with each one.

Maybe in the end you will find yourself-like me- questioning why this manga never got an anime adaption, after all there are very terrible shounens out there.

It was really good I enjoyed it a lot! It has some shounen manga vibes that I love!
I really liked this story, but for me, there wasn't enough drama... I mean seishi really did a good job on this but had problems with emotional scenes and with epic too... I gave it 8, but honestly, I think It's 8,5. why not 9? I wrote that below

The only disappointment was the final fight with Moki, the Final boss, and the final fight, it ended in an instant... yeah final boss was somehow satan, but still, I wanted more action and more epic ... and emotional moments! ofc final moments when Jim met everyone in his mind and defeated satan was very very good and emotional, but still, something is wrong for me, still not enough IDK if it's just me...

I will remember this manga. I really loved the characters and etc...
It deserves ANIME! make it happen! I recommend this manga to everyone who loves the shonen genre! especially if you love naruto alike shounens...

I first read 666 Satan in mid-2018. I was 13 at the time. It is one of the first manga I've ever read, and the first I've ever completed.
I've reread it recently, to say it was nostalgic would be quite an understatement. So please take my review with a grain of salt, I might be looking at this series through rose-tinted glasses, despite my best efforts.
But I digress.

The first thing you'll notice with 666 is its similarities with Naruto, both in art style and content. Both have a young MC with a monster trapped inside him, who is an orphan and is ... shunned by those around him. Luckily, that is where most of the similarities end.

As time goes on the manga deviates from its source and comes into its own. The author introduces a modified form of Judeo-Christian myth quite early on. It becomes quite central to the story as it progresses. The world-building, while not the most memorable, is solid and enjoyable. Especially the concept of O.P.Ts and O-Parts. While the idea of weapons with abilities and people who can use them is not unique, its execution and in-world explanation. The characters, in the beginning, are quite childish and one dimensional, however, as the series goes on, we get some awesome character development. Even for characters who are side characters. As for the art, while yes in the beginning it is very similar to Masashi Kishimoto's art, Seishi develops his own style and flourishes as his skills improve. Proof of this can be seen in the progression of the volume cover artwork.

Now for some gripes I have with the series.
Some plot points and arcs can seem very filler-y and don't seem to be very important in terms of story. The tone of the series can range wildly in some chapters. The fanservice can get a little over the top, even for an early 2000s manga, although that might be a case of personal taste.

All in all, 666 Satan is a great manga. It has an engaging story and memorable, recognizable characters. It is not without faults but if you want to read Shounen manga with cool fights and a great story, I highly recommend 666 Satan.

666 Satan is a manga from the twin brother of Naruto creator nothing less (I wish that at least it was as good as this last) but... Pedigree of this series does not decieve you... this is a horrible,plus,terrible work that will make you vomit.
with dreadful characters tha look invented by some child and could not get compared with naruto characters even (that were a little bit weak too) No, this characters are more stupid,illogical, fake and childish (even fucking villains are like this) yes, as you can guess there are no good characters in this manga.
story is not that awesome either, ... because, even it has more complexity and crafting in its construction than your typical fighting shonen also has many of those moments of "cringe" that are well known in fighting manga for teens since freaking nineties or first 2000s and is generic as all hell, oh and the ending is crap too.
The art even if is not the most important thing in one manga story (story and characters are the most important things) it is really bad and really damages the story of this manga itself due to it messy and unproffesional style i would give it a 1/10 to the art but i love how GREAT seishi kishimoto draws the girls in this series (they have literal super model figures) so i will give it a 2/10.
And personal enjoyment, just a fucking 1/10 because i am very strict and harsh with the enterteinment i get and this thing almost not filled my spectations at all (even fights that are cool in concept are boring thanks to the art that makes them ununderstandable or very simple to watch) so yes this series is just a big waste of time for the creator who did not get any much money nor recognition for its work (i heard he was heavily critizised for the people there in japan for copying naruto or something like that) and for readers who want a fun/good story to read...

666Satan was done by Seishi Kishimoto, brother to Masashi Kishimoto, Naruto's creator.

The first 10 or 20 chapters of this manga will be filled with similarities between scenarios and concepts to Naruto, with moments that I can't quite understand if they were plagiarized from Naruto, or just a simple homage. From the protagonist, Jio Freed, who was bullied by other kids his age, who doesn't have fathers, who has an absurd dream (that of course will be achieved by the power of determination and friendship) and even to the concept of having an evil monster residing within him, the similarities are just too many. And ... that's just mentioning Jio. Like, did I mention there are numbered beasts just like the Juubi that are being gathered by organizations??? Like the Akatsuki??????

STORY: A typical, generic shonen plot that spans from the protagonists childhood to his adolescence/adulthood, depending on when he defeats the antagonist. A plot that really doesn't go anywhere until a timeskip happens around the later half of the manga, which by then would have been like 30 chapters in (which seems a small number, but take into account that most mangas have 20 pages per chapter, 666 Satan has 40-50 pages per chapter). Of course, it starts from a very grounded standpoint until the story absurdly scales to a planetary level and then a universal level. A Truly ridiculous plot with nothing remotely interesting going on, even if the concept managed to be interesting, it doesn't manage to draw you in and make you care at all.

ART: HORRENDOUS. It gets better nearing the end, which shows the mangaka actually made a progress on his drawing skills. There are some really nicely done action panels and dynamic poses, but they're not worthy considering most of the art on these 76 chapters is down right bad.

CHARACTER: None of them are interesting, none of them will make you care about them or what happens to them, most of them aren't even likeable. Badly designed characters (With the protagonists looking like deviantart OCs) that are truly displeasing to look at. One dimensional personalities, the only thing they do is are preach about friendship and promises and the power of the heart. The best characters this manga have are Kirin sensei (with his design being an amalgamation of Jiraiya and Kakashi????) and... none other, honestly. Antagonist keep popping up out of nowhere with poor attempts at plot twists that are laughable. Not a single villain actually felt like one, considering how little development they got.

ENJOYMENT: The most subjective aspect of any review, enjoyment.
I must admit, my enjoyment of this manga was totally fucked by the scanlation teams who, without having good scans, nor editing and translation skills, decided to take on 666 Satan. Of course, this isn't the mangakas fault at all, I'm just saying that your enjoyment of this manga will be absolutely affected to whether you read it officially or you pirate it. Leaving external factors aside, the only enjoyable thing this manga has to offer are some cool panel and double pages art in the final chapters and that's it. Every chapter being 40-50 pages made me enjoy this even less.

Overall: I do not recommend this manga to anyone, not even hardcore shonen fans. I'm shocked to see such positively scored reviews on this manga, but the fact that they were written in 2008 has to be taken into account. I wonder if the people who gave this a 7/8/9/10 back then would think the same on a reread.
