Although one is a shoujo and the other is a josei, both have very similar vibes and centre around a guy who everyone sees as kind, cool and popular but can't understand his own positive traits. SNK has much darker themes than MNS, but it's quite likely that if you liked one, you would enjoy the other.

Another Josei love story with the main character being a rich businessman as opposed to an inexperienced medical receptionist.

Both manga have a dark haired, bespectacled and terribly good looking guy who's quite popular among the ladies for his looks........ and the fact that he knits. He's quite a talented knitter and often unravels his knitted works when he's stressed, not caring how much effort it took to knit those items. He's never been in love, and his first love obviously happens to be this blond haired sensei that he 'works' for. He also realizes his feelings for her before she realizes her feelings for him.

Both deal with a sexually problematic protagonist, one that could exist anywhere in their given society. There is a struggle in both as they try to go beyond their horizons and shackles from their past, and become possibly normal, like us. Either way it is a treat to see these people cope with their exotic and explicit issues in a more or less average setting.

Just adults, stumbling their way into the love department.

A super gorgeous, rich, dark haired and socially inept guy meets a light haired girl, who is always cheerful and treats him differently from everybody else in his life. While falling for her, our MC also battles with his emotions/feelings towards a girl from his past. Both manga are romance+josei, and are short but entertaining reads. If you enjoyed one, you're sure to enjoy the other.

The appeal of both Sekine-kun no Koi and Tsubakikan no Utsukushi Sugiru Garçon lie in their relationship-scarred, emotionally unstable, awkward, adorable, sweet, innocent, handsome, and just plain endearing slightly older male main characters. These manga will make the reader want to hug and console the characters as well as protect them, and we are lucky to see a few decent female characters who are able to offer a bit of that caring behavior as well as act as catalysts in the overall encouragement and growth of the males. Even though there are heavier issues and traumas in Sekin-kun no Koi and Tsubakikan no Utsukushi Sugiru  read more

In these two josei, the protagonist, an serious seeming office worker, falls for a cheerful crafts teacher. There are similar themes of improving oneself through learning a craft.

Older male, younger female. Satisfying ending and enjoyable progression. Also, complete, so no waiting.

29-year-olds who have bad luck with love. While Sekine-kun no Koi is more serious and kinda sad, Dame na Watashi ni Koishite Kudasai is a comedy! Both are good reads.
