The series contains a protagonist that assumes a monstrous form and battles various demonic opponents, sound familiar? Undoubtedly one of the main inspirations for Guyver, and a classic manga whose influences can still be noticed today.

Both Kamen Rider and The Guyver feature a main protagonist who can change into a super strong humanoid being and must utilize their superhuman abilities in order to defeat an evil organization. Both manga are action-packed and usually have strong, monster opponents that have unique abilities. If you like one, you will enjoy the other.

Blood, gore, monsters being torn to shreds. The main character is gifted the power to transform and boost their physical abilities. They fight against monsters hidden among the general population. These old manga hold nothing back during fight scenes.

These two manga have characters using bio suits fighting other powerful evil monsters. They both deal with themes of the darker sides of human nature. Not to mention, these two manga are filled with action, blood, gore and violence. Definitely recommended these two manga for anyone who enjoys dark violent manga.

These manga involve battling against alien invaders while our heroes gradually lose their humanity in their pursuit of justice. The science fiction presented in these graphic novels are the greatest strength of the authors' writing.

Both involve main characters becoming hosts for alien-like organisms. These sci-fi manga explore human psychology and the gradual changes of our hero's personality (although Guyver is more action oriented).
