I have been considering reading the Ikkitousen manga since I enjoyed the anime, What do you think of the manga? Should I give it a go?

Part II is long but worth it, its got some great comedy in it and also the episodes by Hayao Miyazaki are probably 2 of the best episodes in the season. Part 1 is more dark at the begining of the show but the later half tones that down a lot. I still enjoyed Part I though.

With Part III its fun, and it feels diffrent compared to Parts I & II, Yes at first the animation is a bit jarring but that changes thoughout the 50 episodes, In Part III there are episodes/characters that helped inspire other famous game characters and Anime's like Doctor Robotnik from Sonic and Spike Spiegel from Cowboy Bebop. To me even though I haven't seen parts IV, V, and VI yet, Part III for me feels like it marks the end of the golden years of Lupin III its the last full season with the orginal cast. Plus its the last full season that is rated R+ Parts IV, V, and VI are PG-13 (again not counting the spin offs.)

Part 1 I gave a 8/10 though originally it was a 9.
Part II I gave a 8/10
Part III I gave a 7/10

So now that you finished Lupin Part III what are your overall thoughts on it?

How often do you watch/review Hentai?

After I catch up with Detecive Conan I plan on watching Gintama.

Oh yea that is an amazing case and i do like that they have called back to that case once already, Conan really got affected by it, which makes watching Detective Conan more fun as it makes the world more real.

I have to say some Detective Conan episodes are really dark!

I watched a two parter yesterday that some of the backstory involved 2 teachers murdering a child!

I'm watching the Show in airing order so i'm watching the movies when they are released. I'm using a guide.

I have seen a few bad/avarage Lupin Movies/Specials like Return of Pycal which I consider the wrorst Lupin Special I have seen so far. Some of the Avarage ones I have seen so far are Elusiveness of the Fog & Napoleon's Dictionary to name a few. I don't know if you have seen those yet.

The thing with Lupin III Part III is that at first it looks jaring but the animation does change when you reach the middle half, also part III clealy influcenced other franchies. It should be obvious what those franchies are once you reach those episodes providing you haven't already have.

I will get back to Lupin at some point I just have to watch Conan all the way up to where the crossovers take place. So I have a while to go but its been a fun journey so far.

The reason why I started Detective Conan is because I reached the first Lupin Vs Conan OVA Special from 2009 and I knew nothing about Detective Conan and since I had DC on my PTW list for a few years I decided to watch it and I really love it already I have just started season 4 so 83 Episodes in.

Ah i see as I recently started reading it myself so at the moment I'm just treating each volume as new chapter even though there are more chapters then volumes.

I see you are reading Kanata kara quick question how did you figure out the chapters in each volume?
