The manga could've been really interresting, - the first few chapters will certainly catch you. It's sadly just another generic harem later on.

It does actually start strong and has some sukasuka vibes in it. After around chapter 15 it gets worse and worse with every chapter.

It's so bad that at some point they even make a cringy bottom shoujo collar/leash arc with an chloroform abduction
where the ML is treated like a pet, - and got on top of it nearly killed by the FL's maid.
Both The ML and FL are completly alright with it even if it doesn't make any sense for their characters.

The ... issue is the further you read it the more female harem members which instantly fall in love with the ML get introduced.
Every single female character seems to have either a past with the ML and is in love with him or is just instantly in love with him on first sight.


The story itself is interresting and you want to know more about the two countries(and the neutral ones) but honestly
it feels like the author gave up after chapter 17 and just did want to get over with it.

He/She just includes more and more harem members instead of focusing on the world and character building.

It is honestly a shame because this manga could be more than that and you could clearly see the potential in the first 15 chapters.

reviewing from someone who has not read the LN

worldbuilding 4/10 - horribly lack of explanation and background, half-ass political landscape. oh yeah, geopolitics are kind of bad as well. not exactly bad, just a lack of explanation overall.

art 5/10 - not exactly my style

dialogue 5/10 - pretty bad, there are alot of conveniences, the characters' dialogues dont sound logical at all. no, i am not taking the "characters are narrow minded and its totally reasonable" excuse.

story 5/10 - faulty and heavily unrealistic, underexplained.

plot 4/10 - the advancements are kinda skewed, and they are built upon layers and layers of plot ... conveniences as well. doesnt seem knitted together very well. there are noticeable technical flaws that went unexplained, literally plot convenience. pacing is decent.
the ending is TERRIBLY WRITTEN.

characters 6/10 - tolerable. did not show the characters' depth outside of 3-4 main characters. there is the harem aspect also, i am mentioning it for the sake of transparency, i actually dont mind it at all, thats just how it goes.

enjoyment 7/10 - it was a good and solid read. thank you for the work. except for the ending, that was a total turnoff.
-0.5 for one of the most horrible ending i have ever seen.

overall 4.6/10, i personally do not recommend this at all, better to skip straight to the LN instead. but you may or may not enjoy this, your desicion.

This is horrible. Couldn't even get past the second volume. In terms of the "action" genre this is the absolute worst. Within a single volume you have the most powerful warrior in the universe in jail, then out of jail, then fighting for the fate of the world, then getting a slave harem and eating lunch like nothing happened. All of this happens with zero build up or suspense. MC is as dull as a plank of wood with zero personality. Women just pop out of every corner for random fanservice. Reading a dictionary would be more entertaining than this garbage.
