A very basic wish fulfillment story and extremely repetitive. How many times can you be called a "genius doctor" before it loses all meaning? "He's the greatest! He's a genius! How does it do it?" repeat x1000. The character interactions are laughable since the only reason anyone exists in this world is to praise the MC. The excessive amount of hero worshiping completely drags the series down. They could have easily cut 80% of the fluff from the story. I think the only reason this series even finished is because the author ran out of things for the MC to accomplish. It's not the worst ... Returner story but definitely disappointing.

Sadly, not much going on with this series. MC has undefined video game powers that can solve every problem instantly. MC is the most powerful warrior that has ever existed. MC is the best doctor that has ever existed. MC is a super genius magic wizard that has all the knowledge in the universe. No story here. MC just randomly encounters monsters and has to beat them up. MC is permanently chill which makes it seem like nothing matters. The doctor stuff feels hilariously out of place since there's no setup for it. Dude just unlocks super surgery and now has super surgery.

This series has a ton of problems. The story is directionless. MC is completely unlikable. It's a medical drama with no urgency. Typically the hook of a medical drama is helping people, but the author here kind of forgot about that part. From the first chapter we're shown the MC is an all powerful super genius medical wizard and yet he spends his days having picnics in the park without a care in the world. There's no villains. No story. No comedy. No action. Very light romance. I get the feeling this was made because someone had to fill a quota at work.

For a medical drama this is incredibly slow paced and boring. If you want bombastic miracle surgeries then I'm afraid this ain't it. If you want serious drama with real characters then this definitely ain't it. All the characters are forgettable. The medical procedures are forgettable. There isn't even any real conflict in the story. It's just about the MC advancing his career which gets old very quickly. Of course we get popup screens for every trivial thing that happens which adds absolutely nothing to the overall story. In order for this series to work they needed to ramp the drama up to 11 but ... instead we got a 2 - 3 on the dial.

Obnoxious MC stumbles upon some random thing which makes him overpowered. Proceed with 200 chapters of people awestruck at how amazing he is. Why would anyone be impressed with skills when skills are literally just random items you find on the ground? Nothing is ever explained. I don't even think the author cares how the game mechanics work. The Esports angle is also laughable since there doesn't appear to be any strategy whatsoever. Characters simply take turns activating random skills until the good guy wins. The VRMMO genre is hard to pull off, and this series definitely isn't going to change that.

Unlikable kid pretends to be a loser while also being completely overpowered. Yeah, it's one of those stories. I honestly have no idea what the appeal of this is. It's basically the opposite of an underdog story. There's a reason manga like Hajime no Ippo is so popular, it's because fundamentally we want to see the MC succeed. But in this story we have an emotionless plank of wood MC punching monsters without a care in the world. They couldn't even be bothered to give him a goal or motivation. My guess is he will join a guild, accidentally save a princess, and build a ... harem. That's how all these end up before they're cancelled.

This is the definition of trash isekai. MC with cheat skills builds a family friendly harem of animal girls. That's it. Every scene has been done a thousand times before. Every word of dialogue is predictable. As with most isekai, the hook here is just helping random villagers. There is absolutely no story here. I have no issue with slice-of-life but this is simply too boring and generic. All the characters are forgettable and shallow. If Cooking in Another World is 8/10 then this would be 1/10. It's wild that this formula has been done so many times before and yet they still mess up ... to this degree. The entertainment value here is basically zero.

It's a battle shonen style story about making masks in old London... If that sounds weird and boring to you then you would be correct. The pacing is horrendous with constant jumping between over-the-top battles and random people talking about masks. The battles have no buildup whatsoever. The characters have no introductions. What I've deciphered from the story is that the bad guys want to collect masks, and the good guys also want to collect masks. I'm sure in later volumes the story will evolve but this is a painful way to start. If they wanted a good template for battle shonen they should have ... just copied Demon Slayer.

Disappointing in every way possible. Outside of the first episode this is the same generic idol show you've seen a hundred times before. You can tell the creators were scared to death to actually follow through with the edgy humor. It is such a waste to try and copy VTuber popularity and yet make it as shallow and forgettable as possible. It's obvious they just wanted a show where they could throw "VTuber" into the title for clicks, but didn't have any plan for the overall show. Again, this could have been absolutely hilarious but instead we got this generic thing that no one will ... remember.

Horribly dated CGI and photoshop animation ruins what could have been a good show. This is like the worst nightmare for 2000's CGI. Yes, the dogfights are cool, but that's only because so much stuff is happening on screen you can't focus on the terrible CGI. It constantly flips between blurry character models, super low quality models (they almost look like sprites from a 2D game), and 3D that looks worse than the original Initial D. If the original Macross movies are 10/10 then this is 0/10. Without question, this is the worst entry in the entire Macross franchise. It's quite sad that so many ... shows from the early 2000s fell into this same CGI hell.
