This is LITERALLY the worst manga I've ever read. It just take 3 chapters for you to know how bad this manga is, but I'm not the smartest person in the world, so I kept reading and it was just getting worse!

The story is Very Good (8). Gigant is one of those stories that come from the mind of Hiroya Oku, the mastermind behind the hits Gantz and Inuyashiki. This manga requires being read for a few chapters because the story is not what you think at the beginning. At first sight, it might look as an ordinary ecchi-about-to-be-hentai manga but then you will realize that it is a mixture of Gantz and Inuyashiki, in other words, a MASTERPIECE which only Oku sensei might create. Do not read this. It's straight up CP. The MC is 16, the pornstar looks and considering they are out of school most likely 18+
And due to sex scenes its very wrong. Its a manga containing sex scenes involving a minor. There isn't much that can be said about this but its extremely wrong, while yes the age of concent could be less in the writers country its definitely not in most other countries. MAYBE if your countries age of concent is at least 16 then it may be a good read.. (possibly, i haven't read much) but if not you can get in deep shit ...

We all know how female body-parts have been fetish-ized over and over again in the AV-doujinshi industry. Y'all like kyonyuu on a kyashaa i.e. petit frame? The short review is that this is a story about a porn actress who has the ability drastically increase her physical size to gigantic levels combined with Tokyo getting hit by a number of disasters of the natural or unnatural variety. You will like it if you enjoy an author's attempt to visualize the largest breasts of all time, but also don't mind reading a story with more holes than the female lead.
In greater detail: Since this story is by Oku Hiroya, you're know what you're in for. Violence, guts, death, gore, nudity, sci-fi and action. That's all fine and dandy, after all ...

Well it's not a Gantz or Inuyashiki but this too has a own world and gives the vibe but author keeps repeating himself again and again like reference's reference. About characters; What i didn't like; there is so much meaningless emotions like author drawing and then passing and adds from other works also characters are so pointless, What I like; art is improving in every chapter and story can turns out to be good.. idk maybe this manga go 30 volumes or something.

So I got into this story because I like giant women plain and simple and wanted to see some badass giantess action. In a sense I got what I came here for. But then, there doesn't have to be 60 chapters of a nothing plot to tell this story.
Right away you'll notice the art is lazy. All of the backgrounds are seemingly photographed, digitized, and repeated over and over through the story. The characters emotions are portrayed nicely and the action is satisfying, but there is no real sense of an overarching world or society. Which is a problem when buildings are getting knocked down ...

If you are looking for a nice art that could combine 3D CGI real-time pictures from google Maps maybe even with a hand drawing Illustrated in nice-looking frames mostly advertising for "Apple" phones and monitors it is for you. but don't come here from Inuyashiki (same author) it's nothing compared to it. I'll keep this review as brief as possible. Most likely, you're reading this because it's from the same author as Inuyashiki and Gantz, you should know what you're getting into. (Violence, Sex Scenes, etc.)
The premise itself is interesting, there's an online website on which you can vote on to have a real-life disaster happen and the secondary protagonist can turn into a giant. The main issue with this manga is the characters. I just hate Rei, I feel like the author tried to create a relatable protagonist but I just hate him, he just feels 1-dimensional. None of the other characters act like how ...

Gigant may take some chapters to get interesting, yes, but once it gets interesting, it's very very VERY good.
It depicts humanity's nature as no other manga. What would happen if a random internet site starts granting every wish people desire? Would we have world peace? Good global economy? No more diseases? I read this manga in its entirety yesterday and what can I say it certainly was an experience.
The story can basically be reduced down to this: a virgin highschooler meets the love of his life which also happens to be his favorite pornstar; his new found love however becomes increasingly more difficult as the pornstar has the ability to save Japan from the seemingly inevitable apocalypse that is about to go down. Although filled with sex scenes and plot holes the story somehow still managed to keep me hooked, and at times truly amazed me with its absurd originality and weird humor that very rarely even ...

There are so many stories going on at the same time but Gigant seem to blend them in well. We have Rei's story with him trying to find people to act and make his film. We have Chiho and her ability to grow. And we have the E.T.E (enjoy the End) website causing havoc in the city. Gigant seems to meld all these stories together so it does not seem like 3+ separate stories.
Yes, Gigant is a very adult type manga. Since she works in... the industry... we see lots of the nudity, even in her giant form. But ...

Last year when I was staying at a hotel in the countryside of Japan, I decided to have a wander around with nothing better to do. I chanced across the hotel's manga library from which the title 'Gigant' immediately jumped out at me. Amongst all the other titles, I felt compelled to pick up Gigant.
