When I was in Fukuoka back in 2019 I was intrigued by the fact that somehow the local shopping centre had turned Evangelion into a light and water show. The experience was pretty interesting as it is probably the first and last time Evangelion will appear like that. But if you missed it, it isn't anything to be particularly concerned about. It doesn't tell something new nor is it something that revolutionises the world of anime. Instead it is merely a water light show. I wouldn't bother watching this on YouTube either, it was far more awesome to experience it in person.

Domestic na Kanojo or as I like to call it, 'Man makes his life as difficult as possible,' is easily the most unrealistic depiction of a teacher to ever be broadcast. I am a teacher and know the legal ins and outs of the job
(1) when teachers get home they do not have free time, they are lesson planning and marking, in other words slaves to the system. Teachers do not have fun, especially early career teachers like Hina one of our main characters.
(2) Touching or flirting with students is illegal. It is very easy for a student or a parent to take
...
you to court and charge you for paedophilia which results in your teaching license being removed. In the first episode Hina is depicted doing this.
(3) visiting your teacher or even being alone in a room with them is a big no-no. Much like above, a law suit can be filed against the teacher and they will have their license revoked and likely end up in jail. Teachers are depicted one-on-one with students many times throughout the show.
(4) having a relationship with a student who is also legally your brother is most certainly illegal and you will end up in jail. I'm sorry Hina, you can't just go and do that.
It isn't just the teachers in this anime, but literally every single character is unrealistic. No such people exist in this world. But when all these unrealistic things come together it creates a somewhat interesting drama. And it is for that reason I give it a 7.

Last year when I was staying at a hotel in the countryside of Japan, I decided to have a wander around with nothing better to do. I chanced across the hotel's manga library from which the title 'Gigant' immediately jumped out at me. Amongst all the other titles, I felt compelled to pick up Gigant. I began with volume one and eventually found myself having ploughed through all published volumes.
Gigant is not unique. Many of the ideas have been presented before in the author's other works. It is very reminiscent of Gantz. Although they have overlapping features, something about Gigant feels fresh. Something is
...
always happening, and slowly the truth about things become revealed.
What I enjoy about Gigant is that it isn't afraid to show what it wants. If it wants sex, it'll have sex. If it wants gore, it'll show gore. It doesn't censor anything. This non-censorship is accentuated by the author's artwork which in many cases is absolutely stunning.
The characters are interesting, but are not without their flaws. Our main character, Rei, comes across as whiny in many cases, for example the scene where he balls his eyes out in the family restaurant. Papiko, our female heroine, steals the spotlight and is a far more interesting character than Rei. She is the heart and soul of Gigant. Besides Papiko, the other characters leave much to be desired. Particularly the cup noodle obsessed time travellers.
Conclusion:
Even though I give Gigant a 10, it certainly isn't a masterpiece. I just personally enjoy Gigant. If this work ever gets translated into English I would certainly recommend it. However, just keep in mind that Gigant will not blow your mind, but it will certainly entertain you.
I think for me, the big enjoyment of reading Gigant comes out of the fact I use it for Japanese practise. Nobody is translating the chapters as it comes out, so it feels like I have some sort of exclusive scoop on it as I suck in each chapter. It's great for learning different sci-fi language that I wouldn't come across in other contexts.

I am a bit of a history nerd. It is a shame that anime based on history that are somewhat accurate are far and few between. This is one of those rare gems. The attention to detail and historical accuracy is incredbile. The small details such as Nobunaga not wearing a hakama early on the series is a direct reference to Ota Gyuichi's account on Nobunaga's early life. As well as the addition of Yasuke as a character was a pleasant surprise.
This anime desperately needs a second season as the story is incomplete. I am very curious to see how they will depict the
...
Nobunaga's death and some Nobunaga's later wars such as his war against Ishiyama Honganji and the Takeda at the Battle of Nagashino.
This anime blends the court politics and themes of the sengoku jidai in a highly entertaing fashion. My only criticism would be that it does not delve enough into the battle strategies and actual fighting enough. If it did, in a style similar to Kingdom, it would be a perfect 10.

I had heard the rumours, but I chose to not heed the warnings, just how bad could the final season of Fairy Tail be? The short answer is absolute trash. If you have seen the other two seasons of Fairy Tail, you may as well just stop there, don't succumb yourself to this. Please.
Story 3/10:
It is Fairy Tail, if you are expecting a fully fleshed out completely sensical story you are wasting your time. Even going into this final season with this knowledge I was blown away by how low the standard had dropped. The biggest issue I have with the story is when something
...
crazy happens or someone comes up with a plan, idea or theory, literally nobody questions it and just accepts it as fact. For example, in a certain fight scene the characters attempt to defeat the enemy by trapping him in a time rift. Nobody questions the existence of a time rift, how it works or if it would even work against the enemy. Another example of this is when certain characters disappear, someone has a premonition about where these characters might be and everyone just accepts this as fact. Nobody bothers to offer alternate theories.
The other issue I had with the story was Zeref's motives for why he was doing what he was doing was incredibly logical and made perfect sense. I don't really understand why anyone was even trying to stop him as if his plan succeeded then essentially all of the issues within the Fairy Tail universe would be resolved. In fact stopping Zeref creates more problems than it solves. I won't go into details as it is a spoiler, but there is this one scene were Zeref is incredibly close to doing something, but then he suddenly stops doing it to do something else.
Art 2/10:
The art is alright. I was debating whether or not to give it a 1. What I want to criticise is not so much the art per se, but the way the actual anime was directed.
The funky thing about Fairy Tail is particularity in this third season is the director does not understand comedy. Randomly in the middle of scenes that should have an emotional impact or should be action intense are ruined by a random art direction to make the characters Chibi and throwing in some random gag that is not funny in the slightest which then goes on to serve to ruin the entire atmosphere they were working to build.
The other awful thing the director does is have incredibly drawn out sequences. Instead of directing a fast paced action scene with high tension like Mob Psycho 100, the director uses long drawn out shots that make it impossible to generate any sense of exhilaration. The camera will randomly pan over someones face for an extended period of time in the middle of battle or the character will have an long dialogue sequence while he is attacking with just a moving background. Worst of all is the sequencing of the action scenes. There are no grand epic battles like season 1 or 2, it is only ever one side over powers the other for about ten seconds, they have some lengthy dialogue and then all of a sudden the good guys wreck the enemy. There is no tension or sense that the good guys have a chance of losing. Even worse is when they make a dramatic sequence out of characters deaths only to say a few episodes later 'lol guess what they didn't die hahahaah.'
Sound 1/10:
Don't get me wrong, the soundtracks for Fairy Tail are fantastic. Each of the individual tracks are brilliant and suiting to the universe. The opening and ending songs are very catchy and upbeat. So why is it that I give the sound a 1?
The reason the sound sucked is because of how it was used. The editor randomly switches between tracks of different moods and tempos that really throw you off. For example, they might pick an appropriate battle theme and then mid-way through the battle theme switch to another piece that has more 'hopeless feel' to it.
The problem is that the music does all of the thinking for you. The sound directing would have been far more effective if they left certain sections of the anime without music all together or at least faded out soundtracks before jumping to another one. I can excuse the poor visual directing, but coupled with terrible sound directing just made the third season of Fairy Tail at points almost unwatchable.
Character 6/10:
There are far too many characters in Fairy Tail. I literally don't even remember half of them. But nonetheless most of the characters are fun besides the ones that are either purposely designed or are only inserted for the sake of fan service (which there are a lot of). It is amazing how easily characters get away with sexual harassment in this universe.
But yes, the main Fairy Tail crew are fun and are well developed. The only character that could have been developed better is probably Acnologia. Each of the other Fairy Tail villains have fleshed out motives for why they are doing what they are doing which makes them seem realistic. This was attempted with Acnologia, but wasn't properly fleshed out.
One other point I wanted to make is that they randomly give Lucy upgraded celestial powers that are still just as useless as her regular celestial magic. A pointless character development
Enjoyment 4/10:
There was the odd moment in the final season of Fairy Tail was quite good. Whether it be a concept, a character, or something else. But overall due to the technical aspects of the anime, my overall enjoyment was limited. If the director was more competent then this anime could have had some very impactful action sequences and emotional dialogue.
Overall 3/10:
The final season of Fairy Tail fails to capture the magic of the first few arcs of season one. I absolutely adored the beginning, Natsu going on quests, meeting interesting characters with well choreographed action scenes, but never taking itself too seriously. Much like all other long-running series, as it drags on, the story becomes more focused, the characters become more and more over-powered, gradually it loses its charm.
I really wanted to enjoy the ending for Fairy Tail. The actual ending itself is a satisfying conclusion, but the arc leading up to that point leaves much to be desired.
You can be the judge. Watch this final season, but just don't come crying back to me to tell me that I was right and you regret your decision because I very much do. Locking myself into an entire year, waiting a week for each episode only to put it off because I found something better to watch, but then coming back to it out of obligation.

This is just one of those anime that are I dunno how do I put this, bluntly its boring, way too slow paced.
Basically it is about this guy called Kasuga who steals his crush's gym clothes gets spotted and is forced to form a contract with Nakamura to make sure his secret is not revealed.
Honestly it was so illogical it was weird who just grabs someones gym clothes and runs? Who would actually care about the contract, the girl who fored it with you is doing horrible things to you, like stripping you in a library?
I quite liked the art it really made the
...
characters look Japanese unlike other anime such as Infinite Stratos were different nationalities look the same
Overall this anime was way too slow paced for my liking, I read the manga in high hopes the manga would be just as thrilling and exciting but nope. It sucked. Go read the manga intstead of watching ths trust me you will have a much more enjoyable time

Okay, I never put any effort in these reviews so lets start this, I know you all agree with me that
HOTD>The Walking Dead
Clearly, we don't watch normal Tv shows so... agree WITH ME! or you will turn into one of "them", okay moving onto the review
Story 10 man, ecchi's have the best plots eg. Elfen lied or Highschool DxD, this was great, watching takashi beating dem zambies makes you feel badass, then there is the perverted side to this, which was not done as well as Highschool DxD, I love comedies so... The use of not funny perveted crap, was disappointing
Art 10, the art looks
...
all the same... moving on...
Sound 10, the English dub's sound was a bit depressing but #YOLOSWAG
Character 10, first zombie story to actually kinda explain how the zombie stuff happened unlike some TV shows (the running dead), some character development
Enjoyment 10, nothing more said
Overall 10

This is my favorite anime' TRUST ME IT'S LIFE CHANGING
Everyone should watch this (first watch season 1 tho)
It is just the greatest thing ever, it has everything you would want comedy, melancholy, drama, action. It makes the manliest men cry even emos(i dunno it should).
The story line is great it is paced very well and it all makes sense. The thing I liked the most was the charter development it builds up in such a way that you have emotions for the characters, such as when they are happy or depressed. When you see something like bleach the character development is kuso (crap in
...
Japanese). If Ichigo died I really would not give a ______.
When you see this and see Tomoya Okizaki do the things he does, it makes you have the strange feeling that you wanna live the perfect life like him (minus the depression)
Trust me do your self a favor and watch this or MEOW (I really don't know if this was a good reveiw or not...tell me if it was crap)

I had high hopes for this manga because it is from one of my favorite video games "the world ends with you" but... The manga was horrible, it only has two chapters. The first chapter has a very strong beginning but the second was HORRIFIC. After Neku is given his first mission to reach 104 building, it just has a picture of a few noise then... 7 Days Later... WHAT KIND OF REAPERS GAME IS THAT, Neku doesn't even finish any of the reaper missions or beat the game master. The art was pretty good though, especially the color pages. I found enjoyment deeply staring
...
at the art. The characters didn't really have much depth 2 chapters I say isn't enough for character development or even introduce all the characters. Overall THIS IS THE WORST MANGA I HAVE EVER READ! I highly suggest not reading it, it is a waste of life and effort to move your eyes and process the words, read something better like Bleach, One Piece, Naruto, Fairy Tail or even Hentai just not the world ends with you manga cause I guarantee YOU WILL HATE IT.
