Wow, I will have the honor to write the first non-preliminary Review ^_^
I only review anime/manga which I find to be a Masterpiece, So Let's start.
TLDR; 7seeds is a hidden gem, which didn't make it's way to the top 50 because of it's incomplete translation (or that's what everybody thinks..I'll discuss how I read it to the end in a separate forum post) 178 story chapters + 4 extra chapters (only 2 are translated that far)

First off I just want to say I marathon-read the majority of this manga quite a few months ago, so my memory's a bit fuzzy on certain aspects.
What initially drew me into 7Seeds was definitely the combination of genres; a long-running horror shoujo story sounds fantastic, but adventure, and a dystopian future thrown in as well? I was sold. Shoujo and I don’t tend to get along very much. More specifically, high school shoujo romance and I don’t get along because those seem to be the only kinds of shoujo manga that are adapted into anime nowadays. The flitting between abusive relationships seen as totemo romanticuu, or blushy hand-holding gormless teenagers rubs me the wrong way. It’s a shame that anime does such a disservice to an entire subset of manga when it has a much wider variety of titles and genres on display.

Are you tired of all the old boy meets girl romance stories? The neverending fight-another-villain of shonen? Sick of stories that seem to have only one main focus?
Then read 7 Seeds! Story 10/10 : The setting is unusal for shoujo/josei comics and its a shame there are only so few. If you woke up from a cryogenic sleep in a hostile dystopian world with the order to rebuild mankind from the ground up, what would you do? Within that question lies the foundation of 7 Seeds. What would a person do under these circumstances? Even more, what would a person without any survival experience handle a more primitive lifestyle with dangers around every corner?

7 Seeds is in my opinion, a masterpiece. I finished it earlier today and now I don't know what to do with my life-.. It was a real roller-coaster of emotions *sniff*. I've contemplated back and forth on whether I wanted to write a review on this series. It's storytelling and world building is so complex and intricate that I've felt overwhelmed by how I could even begin to describe my love for this manga. However I'll try my best, since I really feel the need to convey what a special series this is.

I guess the first thing to say about this manga is that it is, without a doubt, one of the most grittiest and realistic mangas I've ever read that still manages to not become a large sinful bloodbath of violence.
I rated the story 10, because of it's originality and the wide range of emotions it introduces. 7 Seeds is original in how it takes the aspect of 'what happens when humans die out' plot line. The story line is incredibly thrilling and suspenseful, as we watch the humans, most of who are only teenagers, fight for survival against terrifying monsters we've never seen before ...

First if you like light and funny, comedy,romance manga than this manga isn't for you. (off course if you want to try something new then go ahead. Maybe you'll like it to.)

I truly wish an epic story like 7seeds was better known. It's one of the hidden gems of manga. Even many of my popular shoujo favorites feel shallow after this one. It first grabbed my interest due to my love and admiration for the mangaka's other work, Basara, but has gripped me further than I believed an end of the world sci-fi plot could do.
I'm becoming addicted to the art style. It has a strong classic shoujo look but also seems grounded in reality. The characters all have a unique look you can recognize and the world is detailed enough to lose yourself in ...

Personally I don't like the art style. It's an older style... but if you really look at the art, even if you don't like the style, you have to admit it's really good. Her use of contrast and the arrangement of panels is very well done. She's good at releasing emotion, not just through dialogue and story, but through her art as well. She obviously knows her tools and skills and so I must admit that it is good even if at times I dislike it. The manga was been in the making since 2001 so the art does change a bit and even improve.

Like I read Basara a few years ago in a marathon I read this manga in a marathon.
Wow, wow, wow I love Yumi Tamuras mangas. I don`t know why, but the moment I started reading Basara and this manga I just didn`t want to let go of the manga and go to sleep. Now that I read all published chapters I`m amazed. This manga is one of the best I ever read before its story, characters and development are just perfect! Survival, post apocalypse mystery with some horror, comedy, romance and drama. And all of it done well, with complex and heavy topics discussed in a relatable way.
Its really something out of the ordinary, the story develops well and the mysteries are gripping and smart with aspects of science but understandable. Simple art, but strong expressions and amazing sceneries. Individual and interesting characters with thrilling, emotional and crazy backstories but also just regular people like us, with (mostly) realistic reactions. Each arc tops the last and it never gets boring. Please dont get discouraged in the beginning or spoiler yourself!! Theres an unfinished netflix anime but its only watchable if ...

as some of other reviews suggested, this manga is very underrated, or should i say, not known as it should be.
artwork, character development, story, everything about it is amazing. it simply grabs you once you start reading it. i started reading it less than a week ago and already read all available 122 chapters. this manga is NOT just another story of post-apocalyptic world. often it shows you deep psychological picture of people under desperation. the only regret i have about this manga is that new chapters are coming out so slow and curiosity is just killing me. important point in my opinion to mention is that ...

This manga is mainly set after the end of the world. There has been a great disaster which has wiped the majority of people out. Luckily, the government was able to predict this outcome. This manga was MIND BLOWING. I have never marathoned a manga before and this just kept me going and going! It took me 2 days to read 100 chapters and I am still hungry for more.

i don't really understand why 7seeds hasn’t gotten a lot of exposure or love because the manga slaps like no other. a two week reading binge accompanied by a great cast with all deep routed problems and stories ready to grow and obviously the iconic shoujo like art style really hit different
