Same crazy humor and setting (a high school filled with delinquents) though Beelzebub has a supernatural edge to it. The humor and art is their main similarity and they both have the same mood.

Taking place in a school life environment, Beelzebub and Yankee-kun highlights the lifestyles of a main protagonist who often gets into trouble involving absurd and insane comedy.

Similarly, the main female protagonist in both series has fighting techniques of her own and is well known in the past for her skills. She also has an interesting relationship with the male protagonist.

The addition of Beelzebub is the highlight of more supernatural elements. However, the strength of their humor makes these two manga worth reading especially if you want some good laughs and action.

While Beelzebub focuses more on fighting and how the use of demonic powers influence said fights, Yankee-kun to Megane-chan instead turns up the humor while the fighting that does happen in the manga is more played down.  Yankee-kun to Megane-chan is the inverse of Beelzebub: where humor takes center-stage while fighting is left on the sidelines.  

In a nutshell: the characters in Beelzebub exist so that they can fight, while Yankee-kun to Megane-chan's cast fight so that they can exist.

So, if you enjoyed Beelzebub, but wanted more humor or less of a focus on fighting, then read Yankee-kun to Megane-chan.

For both Beelzebub and Defense Devil, there is a mixture of both fun and action. The main characters from both series are hotheaded and often gets into trouble. However, they do care about their friends and comrades to their fullest. 

As character relationships go, the main protagonists gets off with a rocky start with the main girl from both series. However, their relationship brightens up more after various incidents.

Both series continues plentiful amounts of comedy although Defense Devil takes turn on a more serious side later on.

Honestly speaking, if you were to combine Zoro and Luffy into one person (characteristics) you would probably get Oga Tatsumi which is the main character of Beelzebub. Oga's close hand combat will remind you of Luffy's way of fighting and his special rubber attacks for an example the rocket punch later seen. The eyes of seriousness and his attention span is very similar to Zoro's characteristics to the point you'll feel like it's some sort of dejavu. Ah and Zoro's green hair is also applied to the infant. Coincidence? Perhaps. Anyways I highly recommend this to any One Piece lovers. The stories are different however but I believe the concept is about the same. read more

Konjiki no Gash!! addpermalink

These titles are so incredibly similar. The protagonist is partnered with a childish sidekick, for supernatural reasons they become bonded and find friends / fight evil / fight other similar super-powered duos. The sidekick is also apparently the heir to the throne of the kingdom/world he's from. In both manga, even their powers are similar - lightning. That's not to say these series are bad; in fact, quite the opposite. They just approach the story from slightly different angles. Anyway, they're so similar that if you liked one, you'll probably like the other.

If you seek action, then both The Breaker and Beelzebub should definitely be considered for their similarities in fighting around the school neighborhood.

The main characters from both series have a hotblooded attitude and often tries to resolve problems with violence. However, they are also caring about their family and friends. Throughout both series, they make new friends but also powerful foes that tests their abilities.

There is decent amount of drama and comedy. The Breaker has a more serious tone and more violence along with romance while Beelzebub maintains mostly a lighthearted tone. However, both series has a sense of fighting spirit involving its story.

Beelzebub and Boku no Hero Academia follows many standard battle shounen mechanics that includes super powers and characterization. The main male protagonist has a hotblooded personality but also a kind heart. While their settings aren't alike, both series does introduce many characters (friends and rivals) from a school/academy setting. As the series progresses, we also learn more about characters' backgrounds including their past, purpose, and roles that become pivotal to the story.

Medaka Box is pretty much as random as Beelzebub,there isn't really much backbone stories or none at all in both of them,so they pretty much the same.The only different is that Medaka Box throw lot of random stories in it,and is pretty ecchi,while Beelzebub throw the same thing,but is comical in most of it stories.

Parody Shounen Jump manga and break the fourth wall often.

Both feature a stone cold woman as a companion that knows everything about the world and guides the protagonist, all while having a purpose of her own (+both are demons).

Both main characters, Mash and Tatsumi, do not recognise their strength and influence on people. They're pretty dumb outside of fighting and are respected and misunderstood by a lot of people which gets them into a lot of fights. They both attract the attention of their enemies who become friends or strange people who become close to the main character. Mash and Tastumi are unconsciously willing to do anything for their friends and put others in front of themselves. 

Both mangas have a strong main character with interesting side characters which makes them incredibly funny! I would recommend both mangas to anyone who enjoys a good action story with comedy. read more

Both series' main male protagonist has a hotblooded personality and is always eager to take on any challenge. Their relationship with others offers a wide variety of emotions with other characters. There is the concept of 'battles' that takes place throughout both series' story although portrayed different. For Beelzebub, they involve action with shounen gimmicks at school. For Shokugeki no Souma, it revolves around food competitions satirized by clever ideas.

On the surface, these two titles are nothing alike, however, they are both hilarious martial arts manga centered around a ridiculously overpowered main character. They both employ their own unique styles of humor while mixing gag fights with serious battles while keeping the comedy intact, but if your main draw in AIKI was the ecchi; don't bother with Beelzebub.

You find yourself rooting for the main guy in both of these.  They're both tough fighters, (though Mitsuhashi of Kyou Kara Ore Wa fights dirtier/is more desperate).  Their reactions to situations is comical in that is shows both have warped sense.  Both are bad guys who are quite 'evil' but 'nice' so you find yourself rooting for them and laughing as they pummel others.

Both of these manga revolve around a young delinquent and as the story progresses, both end up gaining more and more gang members slowly, as of course, they prove their worth against a 'rival' of some sorts because of their reputation. What sets them apart is that Beelzebub is a shounen about young Oda babysitting the demon kings son, so is rather supernatural based, where as Gang King is a seinen about a wannabe tattoo artist but it shares the same rather crude humour.

Despite taking place in different settings, Beelzebub and Toriko are two series that presents their action in an interactive way. The main male protagonist from both series are tough and is never afraid to back down from a challenge. Their interactions with various characters brings the best out of them. Comedy is also present throughout both series with colorful dialogues. At the same time, there are also mysteries regarding a separate world that exist in both series. And throughout the course of their perspective stories, Beelzebub and Toriko stay true to their premise to explore all its potentials.

Despite the different premises, Beelzebub and Taboo-Tattoo follows a similar trend involving their stories. The main male protagonist is driven to protect others and his life changes one day after a faithful event. Throughout both series, there are consequences that he must deal with with his newfound abilities. Both series also focuses on interpersonal levels when it comes to relationship building. Beelzebub has more comedy while Taboo-Tattoo follows a more mature story though.

Both series' main protagonists has unique origins that grants them ability to fight against their rivals. Throughout both series, they get into conflicts with other characters that puts their daily life style on hazards. At the same time, we see their relationship development with various others, especially with the main female character. Both series' main female protagonist have strong wills and commands a presence with their personality. Both manga have the male protagonist contracting with devils, forced to live with beautiful demons, school life drama, and humour. Beelzebub is a little more of a gag battle manga whereas Hakoiri Devil Princess is more of romcom. But I think that if you enjoy one you'll enjoy the other.

both featured a tough guy who meets girl from another world and after that gets a supernatural powers. through the story he meets a new friends which also very similar like horny lion or a shy girl who love the main character. sometimes even story will make you say "wow! this is just like Bleach! :D" but with all this similarities Beelzebub feels more like a comedy then a fighting manga.

they also both have links to demons and hell but in different ways.

Beelzebub and Girls of the Wild's involve a lot of action as their general setting takes place in a school setting with delinquents looking for trouble.
