| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- "That's called a fake!" Great ep, Yuske's got his work cut out in this fight. Can't wait to see what happen's next. Shinsui is a beast, he took that barrage and a dip in the demon water like a champ. The animation for this ep seemed a lot more detailed during the fight scenes. Full bodies fights, which you don't see in this anime often, they usually just go with with the same fist and faces scenes for most of the fight, or the occasional double flying fist moves. So it was refreshing to see some more detailed fighting, which I'm hoping means even more in the next ep, I guess we'll find out. Urahara Out!! |

| Damn, awesome fight! Pure fist fight and consistent animation. The best fight episode so far that I have seen in this series. |
| I definitely agree with the rest of the sentiments about this fight, it was really exciting to see the motion by motion attacks of Yusuke. I'm enjoying the pacing of this one more than Dark Tournament, I thought this battle would take longer to get to. Aaaand Sensui's shirt comes off. It's funny how it's always conveniently only the shirt that gets ripped up. |

| This fight is turning out to be much better than any from the Dark Tournament Arc. Yusuke is finally using his brains for once against a more skilled opponent. However, the clash of ideology is still too black and white for Shinobu Sensui to be an interesting villain. |

| Phenomenal. If this keeps up, this fight will easily be the best in the series so far. The first swing was something Yusuke learned from the last fight. The next was a bait. The third was a four way mixup front, back, up, down. The fight looks beautiful and the way it's done is really engaging to watch, it's a rare sight that we see both characters learning and adapting from each other. Seriously lets hope the fight keeps up. Kuwabara's cheerleading was fantastic, really shows why I love him. | damn another really strong episode. thats back to back! really strong direction and animation in this episode, loved it. Humans will always come up for excuses for their evil doings. We can justify any action while the demons just accept their wickedness and make no excuses for why they are so evil. |
| Hearing about Sensui from the green-haired guy was interesting and deranged. I'm not sure if I understand what he said about Sensui's fall showing that purity is real though? I might have missed something. It seemed kind of cheesy hearing that Yusuke is stronger in physical attributes only to then see him falter in those same physical attributes. Kind of a weird episode. |

One thing that is noticeable about the series is how Togashi gradually improved as the arcs progressed. The Dark Tournament Saga fixed issues from the Spirit Detective Saga but introduced new ones. Chapter Black looks like the point where everything comes together. |

| God we are into one of the best fights now. And I gotta say credit where credit is due, young me at some brilliant taste when it came to anime to start off with it’s just a shame that young me never got to experience the fights with Young Toguro or even Sensui’s fight in this episode. This just goes to show that this is shonen at it’s finest. The animation, my god, the animation is so good here. It’s very interesting what Itsuki had to say about Sensui in general, insane but interesting. I’ve just got nothing else to say but damn this episode is just awesome. Hell yeah I really want to see the rest of this fight. I really do. |
