| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Oh my, I'm definitely enjoying this arc! I missed seeing the intense and simply put EPIC episodes of Gintama. The last arc that really got me was the Benizakura (probably spelled wrong) Arc. I think the ending was what made the episode so great. Everything else was all right until the end, the last few moments where you get really pumped up from Okita. Gah, how he reacted was priceless and I love when the characters, most especially Gintoki, Katsura, and those from the Shinsengumi get serious. Because you know things will definitely become epic once they get angry. And I was always all right with Okita but in this episode, he definitely earned some major brownie points. :] And to add to the above, I love when the loyalty and friendship issue come up, because it's always usually because of that when these characters actually get worked up or serious. So kudos to this episode. |

| OMFG this is awesome! I never expected Ito was siding with other ppl I just thought he wanted to lead the Shinsengumi. Okita redeemed himself by the end and everything looks like it's gonna be awesome! |

| It's interesting how most of the best material from Gintama seems to have the Shinsengumi somehow involved. I've got to say that Kondo and Okita were bad ass at the end of this episode. |

| Yamazaki isn't actually dead... right? Right!? Yeah, he wasn't the most flashy character, he didn't have a big personality, and he wasn't the funniest guy around, but he had his own special charm. In a world filled with idiots and oddballs, Yamazaki is the only guy who seems normal. If he's actually dead, then I'm disappointed. (After all, if Yamazaki isn't around, who's going to be the one who randomly gets an afro?) |

| This arc is fucking good. I really like Itou, as an antagonist. He's clever and ruthless. He only seek power. Did Yamazaki really died? I see no way that he could have survived, except if before the headphone guy gived the last blow, he countered his attack. Of course, there would have been no way that Okita accept that Kondo get assassinated. He may be a sadist, Kondo is like a brother to him. |

| 2d Otakus vs 3d otakus lol. What a nice show. Not really liking Toushi's personality change. Yamazaki just died I dont believe it, that guy is a boss he won't die. Damn that was kinda cringeworthy though, seeing him getting slashed. That Ookiku Furikabutte reference, Kagura is awesome. I knew it Okita couldn't betray Kondo. ^^ |

OMG Yamazai is dead?! but I liked him!!! he was cute and funny! oh no, that's so sad ;_______________; I thought Muramasa was just in Bleach lol. I had no idea it was a real sword! wow. So there are two sides to the Shinsengumi! Dude can't kill Kondou!!! Okita killed an officer and maybe is on Hijikata and Kondou's side after all!!!! or at least Kondou's! D: he looked so pissed!!! | that's rare occasion to kill a character by being killed, I thought Gintama would only kill character by being sick or old enough to live. RIP Yamazaki. and for a those last second, I thought Kondo would show his demon side by defeating all surrounding Shinsengumi by himself. |

| I know Yamazaki will turn out to be alive somehow, but it was still painful watching my boy on that state :( On the other hand, I don't care if Okita is on Gorilla's side or isn't, there still isn't a valid reason to betray Hijikata and thus he still sucks. |
