| Yamato finally decided to quit modeling. Meg is jealous and her friend saw that from behind. Mei and Yamato walking home together and trying to be together longer. Nice talk between Mei's mother and Yamato about Mei. Kai, whose truth has been revealed, told her the true intention. The person who wants to get revenge to does not remember him at all. Then he challenged Yamato, saying that he probably fell in love with Mei. |

You tell it to her, Yamato! ^Why? Because Yamato likes Mei, Megu-tan! I found the bakery scene funny and cute also. That scene at Mei's house with Yamato was sort of awkward. I wonder what would of happened if they weren't interrupted from this: So, after watching this episode, I see two rivalries building up: 1) Girls' side - Mei and Megumi 2) Boys' side - Yamato and Kei Oh the incoming drama. My body's ready. Btw, I find Kei and Mei a bit similar this episode. |

Overall they are making the anime a bit different but that is good. Megumitan is turning into or showing that she is a real bitch while the others have turned into real friends. Mom ruined the moment there but it was sweet, her happy that Yamato understands and respects Mei. Very sweet. Kai taking a year off school to bulk up and plan his revenge, a dish best served cold they say but Kai still seems quite hot about it. Loved this episode, love the show, have ordered some BDs though I fear sales will be light. I also fear we will only get halfway or so through the manga. We are at chapter 16's end by episode nine, four to go. I hope they make it to 25 or 27 but that might need an OVA and 40 will need season two... |

| Awe man, i was hoping they put the manga scene in here, i was looking forward to that whole bedroom scene and how sexy it was in the manga..nonetheless it's a short series so they had to chop out of a lot of stuff to fit the series length, good episode though. |

| It's Kai not Kei XD. Anyways, I'm so glad to see more of him in this episode. :DDD Mei was so adorable in this episode >///< And Yamato was pretty cute too XD. It was a really heartwarming episode compared to the last one (not including Kai being bullied). That room scene was supposed to be in the last episode but oh well. Out of the three shoujos this season, Sukitte is definitely the best, Tonari following it. I don't think they have enough episodes to animate that though D': They don't have enough episodes to animate the whole Megu/Kai arc. |

| The pace feels a bit different... But I'm glad I didn't have to see Megumi as often during this episode. Since the scene with Yamato running to where Mei lives got changed, I liked how they made Mei notice that Yamato intentionally held the umbrella so that he would get wet rather than her. <3 And since the anime style is simpler, I feel like I can appreciate the manga's art more now. xD |
| Ok, this episode was adorable... finally after like two episodes, Yamato didn't piss me off :D. I thought the bed room scene was also really funny and cute, it was nice to see some lovey dovey stuff since the anime hasn't had that in the past few episodes. I loved Mei's mom's reaction, it was really sweet and stuff. For those who didn't notice, Mei and Yamato did kiss in this episode after he leaves her house, to bad it was far away so us watchers couldn't really see it. Anyway, I like how Megumi got what she deserved!!!! She's finally showing her true bitchy self!!!(sweet heart, Yamato is for Mei...so back da F off lol xD). Luckily, Megumi didn't bother me that much in this episode. Overall, the episode was nice, sort of a slow pace episode but still really nice. It was a little disappointing that the episode didn't go like the manga, but thats alright it still was cool and had little details of the manga...in other words it got the same point across. I understand that the anime always has to go faster then the manga, but I feel like its jumping just a tinny bit to fast. Its only episode nine, and Kai has barley talked to Yamato but he already confesses that he likes Mei. I feel they should have waited at least one or two more episodes until they brought that topic up. Besides that it was cool to see a different adaptation of those manga chapters. PS: For those who watch/have watched, or read Toradora, you will know the character Ami. In Toradora Ami is also a popular teen model, I thought it was pretty funny when Megumi(a model as well) brings up the name Ami referring to a model thats having a photo shoot with her. I have no idea if it was purposely done, but it was really funny and sort of made my day, considering I'm a huge Toradora fan :D |

| Megumi deserved to be rejected caz she just use the modeling to get close to Yamato which is not fair >_> pretend to be friends with Asami and Mei smh. Megumi turn into a real bitch in this episode. I like how Yamato lay Mei in the Bed oh shit that was awesome, seeing her face like that made me flip a table (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ meanwhile Kai just made a rivalry with Yamato lol... incoming attack drama!! WOOT |
| ARRGGG they ended the ep with that cliffhanger on purpose DIDN'T THEY?!?!? Cuz it felt like something was missing from the *Kai looks at bread* transitioning to *Kai likes her!* revelation...aka: like there should've been a few more "Kai's inner thoughts" or something between the two. Ok... I admit maybe it's cuz the manga made the connection a bit more gradually...STILL Besides that though.... OH GAWD.... I kept rewatching that bit where Mei comments she likes "Yamato's smell" (and she totally said "Yamato"! NOT "Kurosawa" if you noticed) and him shoving her down and almost "going rabid" before mom walks in xD LOOOOOL Also liked that 'extension' after the credits where Mei & her cat are commenting on "her mother's timing" That made it all the more hilarious/amusing. |

| Wow I felt like some things were missing when they were adapting this part of the story. In this episode we wrapped up the Megumi rival and quickly have a rival for Yamato introduced and challenging Yamato. |

| I think Mei's character development has been the best part of the show so far. She's been super consistent, it's a pleasant surprise. |

Sukitte Ii na yo is more serious, but naive a lot which give some charm to it. Kaibutsu-kun is more fun but romantic as well. For me the second one is better and i think i would name it as my favourite anime this seson. I never laugh so much at jokes and still get this hearthwarming feeling from watching how the characters relationship develop :) |
| This is beyond stupid. Another love rival? We really don't need that. What has Kai seen of Mei for him to have feelings for her? Unless he's just saying that to rile up Yamato, which makes him the equivalent of Kimi ni Todoke's Kento. Megumi is a dumb bimbo by the way. But I'm pretty sure that's already been established. |
| Remember how bitchy Aiko was at the beginning before Mei worked her personal improvement magic on her? Now Aiko is one of her best friends. Wait until we get Megumi's back story before you judge her too harshly--but yes, I don't think that she has finished making trouble yet--and with Kai on the scene she has some material to work with. As mentioned before, the manga is a bit steamier than the anime and they've left some details out about some of the other relationships. It was nice to see Aiko's boyfriend/roommate in this episode, although they haven't really done much with him (in the manga he spends a lot of time trying to help Aiko with her past traumas and self-image and self-worth problems). I'll hope that despite sales we get a second season--after all Chihayafuru was able to do it. |

What is similar in them imo is that they are both honest ;P |
| Did anyone get the same feeling as I did? The ending scene was very similar to Tonari no Kaibutsukun's last episode. Both of them confessed their love. |

| I didn't get this episode. Maybe I'm too sleepy, but I really don't get the beggining. Erm... So, scene in the Mei's house was great. I think in this scene her breast had grow up a bit. And this happy mom! Japanese culture is weird, Kurosawa so very official... I thoght from the very beggining and now I'm sure I'm right - Kai will be very important character in this serie. And I want him to show how he can make some mess in feelings of Mei x3. Actually, first and last 5 minutes were great, middle were a bit boring, but this is common. Can't wait for next episode, 4/5 |
| I know that the modeling made Mei uncomfortable, but as much as I hate Megumi, she does bring up a good point. I find it's a little unfair towards Yamamoto that he has to quit modeling because his girlfriend doesn't like it. In the anime's case, it's acceptable since Yamamoto never really wanted to model in the first place. But what if it's something he has always dreamed about? Perhaps, instead of quitting, he could just be more open about it and perhaps try to bridge the gap between Megumi and Mei, while making it clear to Megumi that Mei is his girlfriend. Minor quibble that isn't really important to the overall story, but I hope they clear up Megumi's feelings before the end. I felt their kind of cliffhangered it and just moved onto Kai. I did like how their relationship recovered however. It also doesn't look like I'm going to much of Kai fan either... He's just another story obstacle the couple will get through. |

| I liked this episode but I kind of felt like I was being a little intolerant with it because I kept making little mental comments in my head. Like when Yamato asked Mei if she had trouble fixing her bracelet, I was thinking- what does it matter? It's fixed! Then when she said she had a little trouble and he said that it was fixed anyways I thought to myself- why the hell did you ask then? I don't like Megu tan, she is a bitch to me and the last time I checked when she was begging him to continue to model to help sales I could have sworn she said he could quit anytime so why was she whining when he did quit? And who is that random brunette girl who kept looking at them from time to time? I don't like Kai and if I was Mei I would set him straight and tell him to stop asking about that damn Land pin thing because he isn't going to ever have it! And when Kai said to Yamato that he PROBABLY likes Mei, I don't know why Yamato got wide eyes. Get wide eyes when he says he LOVES Mei and won't stop until she is his. But right now he isn't even sure himself. Keyword- probably. Duh! I would be like "okay well tell me when you actually figure it out, until get the hell outta way so I can go walk my girlfriend home." But that's just me. |

| I agree at they are rushing it, but it is an anime. You can't put in every single detail that was in the manga. Although KAI WASN'T SUPPOSED TO SAY HE THOUGHT HE LIKED HER AT THAT PART, THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO BE ALL LIKE "WE SHOULD HANG OUT MORE" WTF. They should have let kai say it once he got to know her more as in the manga, at least. 13 episodes really is too little. |
| I agree that this episode was rushed; I don't get to see Yamato's tense making-up-excuses face :P And more importantly, the declaration. Kai's declaration of war might've had more impact if Kai did it after establishing a close friendship with Mei. Like I always say, it's all good IF I haven't read the manga... ...but I have... |
