Sorry for the late reply. I needed a break from MAL and anime in general. But I'm back, at least for now.

Your situation with Kobato is the same as mine with Planetes. It's been on my HDD for too long. To be fair though motivation to watch anything (anime related) has severely decreased. Seemingly, I have become a grumpy old man that likes to hate on everything. Of course the only anime that made the year for my (Kyousougiga) is only 10 episodes, so my fun is very short lived. I'm curious on what your anime of the year was.


Well, I'm good for the most part. Despite being bored for a greater part of the day, the boredom usually accompanied by feeling lethargic. How have you been?

The only other piece of medium that got me depressed not sad in this case, but more cut-my-wrist depressed (but nowhere near that extent, just slightly moody) was the first arc of Aoi Bungaku. After that I probably watched a lot of anime with a happy-esque atmosphere. Let's see if Oyasumi PunPun can top that, which I assume it will. I got my random harem manwha in store for when it does get pretty depressing.

Started Oyasumi PunPun today, and I can't give an informed opinion on it. I can say that I am in for something pretty heavy, so I'm pretty happy with that :D. I'll check out Solain as well, I think I'll read Solain after I get around half way through PunPun. For variety's sake.

It really sounds like something that I would enjoy. You genuinely piqued my interest with that. Never really delved into those kinds of manga, I usually read manga for shounens. I generally find that they're done better in manga, and I tend to enjoy it more. I'll put it pretty high on the PTR.

Well after these conversation I feel like going back to watch Aria again. :D

How is Oyasumi Punpun I've heard a lot of good stuff about it, but I never really had the motivation to read it.
