| I think this episode was better then last week. The part where that police officer got hit in his private spot was so funny. That old lady seems nice to, charging her regular for 10 years of free curry. |

| I just don't know why SHAFT is always getting 'especially' rave comments than any other shows. I will rather see animation like this than art getting totally butchered in Bakuman. Liked the episode and such for Ayashiyama moments, but I hope this do something better than just forcing some situation to be funny when it is not. |
| Way better than the first episode (and the subs too). The animation was good, but it looked awkward in a few scenes, but it was still good. Also, as ringoo4 said, I hope that the comedy won't be forced later on. The animation in this show is actually a lot better than in most other comedy and slice-of-life shows. In most shows the characters don't move a lot when talking to each other and only the mouth movements are animated. Not in this show. Just look at the first scene of this episode inside the café. The characters are constantly in motion. Of course the animators risk inconsistencies that way, but the scenes seem much more energetic, which is a pretty big plus for this show. |

| The antics, conversation and arguments were stupid, but pretty funny and energetic. Definitely better than the first one which just seemed a bit off. |

Very funny though. I get the same feeling here except it is better in the random department. For some reason i feel like Hotori is made of jello; she keep swinging back and forth as she talks. I am not sure if it the fact that they are actually gesturing when they talk (compared to every other show where they are fixed in place) or Hotori is just like that. |

| This episode was really funny to me. It's always nice having a shaft show in my now watching lineup. |
| This episode was a lot better than the last one. I am so happy their ugly friend didn't reappear, too. Of course, the old maid whose name I don't know is still there for the ugly factor. I realize the show isn't supposed to be glamorous and sparkly, but they didn't have to go out of their way to make some of their characters hideous. Hotori's friend, (I think her name was Tatsuno?) was still annoying in this episode. I just don't like her character. Sanada doesn't seem to mean much. He's supposed to be a main character, but they never show much of him. Hopefully that willl change in that future. I guess I'm not really getting the story yet, if there's even supposed to be one. But I shouldn't complain since I never planned to watch this show in the first place and thus had no expectations whatsoever for it. I was bored last week, watched the first episode, and now I'm bored again this week and watched episode 2. Week 3? We'll see. XD Oh yeah, and I seem to be the only one that finds Hotori's (the main character's) voice to be kind of annoying. It was a lot more bearable in this episode than last week's, though. |

Except if am just getting used of it slowly and i didn't realize. I do like the weird ending song though.
