| Oh man Nowak...this guy really is willing to do anything for his famil. The dark sceneries continues in this episode but I liked the chereography of the scenes under the moon. I think Nowak shouldn't be overlooked in this anime for what he fights for. He's one of the more interesting characters imo. Wasn't also expecting some action this time but that turned violent fast. |

| That part where Oczy says Heliocentrism is his faith and he’s gonna sacrifice himself, and even Badeni gets all emotional. Then Oczy faces Nowak and puts on the necklace, cinema. Oczy and Nowak's fight is gonna be interesting, but alas. we must wait a week to see it. Hoping for some sakuga, but it's fine if we don't. |

| A masterpiece. I have no words. Probably the most tense I've been this whole year while watching something. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. It was beautiful. Everything's beautiful. I love Oczy and Badeni so much. I don't want anything happening to them. That necklace gave it away. Oczy is prepared to die for Heliocentrism. That's his faith. Badeni's little prayer to God for Oczy gave me chills. My GOAT. This episode was mind-blowing and incredible. I can't wait for next week's episode. The showdown is finally here. I'm praying that everything's alright at the end of the fight. I don't want to lose any more of my favorite characters. But, I have very low faith. |

The symbolism of Oczy putting on the necklace in front of Nowak is badass beyond words, not to mention the fact he's entering his second duel with him unmasked. Also, it would make zero sense for his character but my brain still autocompleted Nowak's line to be "A truly strong warrior is not one who's ready to kill. It's one who is ready to die has no enemies." |
| Top episode, loved how they adapted Badeni and Oczy different stances and the last rite. Major props to Nowak and his 10/10 sight being able to read in the dark. |

| Heliocentrism is my faith... I think we all saw this coming, but it doesn't make it hit any less hard. It was interesting to see the differing viewpoints that Oczy and Badeni had towards research, and how the lines between research and faith can blur. Oczy's words certainly moved Badeni, which is a feat in and of itself. Nowak's on their tail now though, and Oczy stood up for Badeni like I thought he would. He's had a life void of meaning until now, so for someone to inspire him so much, I'm sure Oczy felt that he had to protect someone like that. It's not looking good for him, but we'll see what happens. What a nasty cliffhanger! |
| HOLY SHIT WHAT A CLIFFHANGER. Can not wait for that Nowak and Oczy fight next week! Just wrap up the AOTS award already. Anxiety was thru the roof in this episode. I knew Nowak was onto them, once he smells blood he’s on the hunt, but seeing Oczy go on the attack rather than waiting for Nowak to come arrest them was amazing. So far in the show we’ve seen Rafal and other “heretics” get arrested, tried and burned, but Oczy is the first to actually put up a fight and go out on his terms(assuming he dies next week). This really is a good way to tie up his character arc since his whole thing has been living on his own terms and doing what he wants to. Badeni reading Oczy his last rites was one of the best scenes of the year too! Pure chills there. Badeni talked down on him a lot, but you can really feel the tremendous amount of respect he has for Oczy in that moment. Heliocentrism isn’t just a theory for him, but a genuine faith and something he’s determined to help advance. Putting the necklace on right in front of Nowak, taking out the other inquisitors, fuck that’s a bad ass scene if I’ve ever seen one. This episode was a big coming out party for Oczy with standing up to Badeni and challenging him philosophically, as well as Nowak physically. I’m still worried about Jolenta though.. Will Nowak go after his own daughter as well?? 😩 I hope this buys Badeni enough time too. Can not wait for next episode, thank God this is two cour. The one inquisitor running away and dying by his own blade is hilarious too lmao |

| This episode was super intense, Oczy had great character development, He is now literally ready to die/sacrifice for his faith in heliocentrism. Can't wait for next week's episode man. This anime is P E A K, definitely AOTS for me. |

 man, that 5 minute scene needed more of a sense of rush, i get the debate was interesting but it doesnt make sense to do that when your lives are on the line though gotta say, Badeni did have a plan, had hidden his research so he wasnt entirelly acting dumb like i said on the previous episode, also because of how this anime has no fear of killing characters i really cant see both Oczy an Nowak surviving the next episode, though i cant predict who will survive either |

| What an amazing episode... I was literally shivering the whole episode. They nailed the tension that this episode needed. Right from the start, when Nowak revealed to them that he received a tip, the tension was everywhere. And when he was searching the documents, and they had nothing, you could still feel that smoething was coming, and that something was the necklace... THE NECKLACE STRIKES AGAIN. When they showed (by not showing) Nowak's reaction to the necklace, you could see that things were going to bad, really bad. But in between all that tension, we got the really interesting talk between Badeni and Oczy, where Oczy suggested Badeni to stop isolating himself, because working in group was really important to the advancement of science. Not only that, we can see Oczy's character development, when he talks about the symbolization of passing the torch. When Oczy notices that Nowak is coming ready to kill them, and offers to give Badeni time to escape, you can see that Badeni was really trying hard to make Oczy give up on that idea and escape, saving his own life in the process, which is really unexpected from Badeni, and knowing his backstory you can see that he really saw in Oczy a friend, in a way. But now we have to talk how Oczy was the MVP of this episode, when he didn't back down, and said that he would prefer dying and maintain his hope alive (or faith in the heliocentrism theory), than continue living, but with his hope destroyed, really speaks volumes on how much Oczy grew as character, when in episode 4 and 5 he was so confused on why his master on the guild and the herectic had a hopeful expression when they died, comparing to other people, and now he is willing to do the same. Badeni's prays for Badeni shows that he really respected Oczy for his attitude, even though he might have not understood why. I might be wrong, but what Badeni did wasn't one of the 7 sacraments of the Catholic Church, the Extreme Unction, that is given to those that are in the immenence of death? The animation for the fight scenes was insane, and the shots from this episode were all so good (that shot from Oczy standing in the road was cold and cool). Not going to lie, one of the knights falling over his own sword and dying has to be one of the most embarassing deaths in anime history xD. But Oczy killed 4 knights like it was nothing. And then the episode ended with the Oczy vs Nowak! I can't wait to see what happenes next week! It seems like episode 13 really is going to be the final episode of this 2nd part of the anime, like I suspected last episode, and I supposed we are maintaining the opening and ending for at least 1 more episode. We are probably going to get a look at the new generation in the next episode, which I suppose is going to be that knight that appears in the opening, but has yet to appear in the anime (in fact, I think this episode was the first episode to show these knights). Also, we are finally getting the resolution for the battle between Oczy and Nowak that was stopped in episode 5. This episode was for sure the best one so far (maybe on pair with the 3rd episode), and I'm also curious to see what Nowak is going to do about his daughter, since she was also part of it. Is he just going to ignore that she was part of it? Because it does seem only he knows about this, so it would make sense for him to not tip his own daughter. But I suppose Jolenta isn't going to be accepting what happened to Oczy and Badeni so easily. This episode hinted that Oczy is probably dying next episode, but I wonder if Badeni is going to die too (and Jolenta too, for that matter). It must be hard for Nowak to know that Rafal was able to inspire his own daughter after his death, so many years ago. NOW, IMPORTANT MATTER, HAS ANYONE REWATCHED THE 1ST 30 SECONDS OF EPISODE ONE? If you didn't, only do it if you are ready for some SPOILERS. I was alerted about this in the comments of the episode, and I must say, I'M COMPLETELY SHOCKED. Like, I literally don't know what to say about that. |

| My favorite part was Nowak's bruh moment at the new recruit's death. Dialogues are cool and all, but misplaced. Some of the decisions and time management are baffling. These are the problems of a show wanting to be philosophical above everything else. Also darkness is fine and all (I was born in it), but Nowak checking the room at absolute starlight is... ehhhhh. Also the power of convenience! Somebody so alert of Nowak like our big guy would have somehow managed to hide the "necklace" instead of leaving it exposed always. I mean a subtle work of hand while Nowak is searching would have also created genuine tension than the artificial tension constructed throughout the episode. But anyway, Ig here goes our second set of protagonists. Interested in the fate of Jolenta and how that'll affect Nowak. If Jolenta dies, either Nowak will change or simply cope that she has been brainwashed and pledge to make his job very very... personal. |

| What an amazing episode, absolute cinema. To think that Oczy started out as that ridiculous inquisitor who ran away to save his own life, as in his first encounter with Nowak. But now, he is prepared because heliocentrism is his faith. The blessing Badami gave Oczy before he left to buy time was truly epic. I just hope Oczy doesn't die. Since he lost his fear of the sky and discovered that the Earth is as beautiful as the stars, he changed and decided to learn more and study. I don't want him to end up like Rafal. If that happens, I hope Badami will heed Oczy's words and not keep all the research to himself. |

| If I were them I would have just taken the research and run off through the tunnel. Ever tried burning a stack of papers? Pages always manage to not be burned. Plus making the fire made it easier for Nowak to find the shack again. I feel kind of bad for the guy who died tripping into his sword lol |
