| I mean, yeah I was always interested in miss VERY interesting CD, but to think she's a cosplayer, can speak Chinese, but the biggest shock of them all SHE HAS A NROMAL CD UNDER ALL THAT... whatever that original CD is lol. Hana looked pretty cute in those pigtails as well don't get distracted by best girl lol. But yeah, Tsunehiro and Ice are fr just the same people, just look at these two LMAO  Really glad to see Tsunehiro get closer with everyone in this business, slowly but surely. I am picking up a pattern, with each episode showing Tsunehiro getting closer with an individual person from the shop. Which'll just make it all the more sad when he eventually does die at the end of the series, at least I would assume he would. Really nice of the gang to throw Tsunehiro a nice litle partty lols. Ma boy growing up so fast, I'm proud. |

| Really sweet episode it was great seeing Tsunehiro spending more time with everyone and slowly opening up and it was so sweet how they through a surprise party for him. |

| You just had to dangle that Tanya in front of me, didn't you? It's been five years! This episode is all about the girl with the weirdly shaped head. Ice lives a very interesting life and just exudes this positive energy when she's given the spotlight. It would be nice to see more of her and her brother. I was about to start shitting on Sasaki again, but then we got a good opportunity for development. Up until this point, MC's done almost nothing but react to what's in front of him, but now you have Ice telling him to go and actively seek out the things he enjoys. This could be a major difference maker. Plus, he's also inching towards finally opening up about his cancer. Depending on how the second half plays out, I might reconsider my opinion that Hana should have been the main character. |

| Tsunehiro felt pretty different this episode. He actually tried to put effort into fishing, shake off seasickness, pay attention to people around him, engage in some honest conversations, and have some cilantro. And not be cranky and obnoxious towards people trying to be nice. I wasn't even asking for this much, but it's good to see him go through quite a lot in one episode. Also good to see a new character with an interesting background and an energetic personality that's not just about fishing. Tsunehiro being unsure about how to react to her mannerisms was just the right amount of awkward and likable. |
| Ice has been an interesting character from the beginning, and I liked him even more when he interacted with Tsunehiro. Also, she is quite energetic and her cosplays are very good and with great references. Her way of being has changed Tsunehiro's perspective a bit, making him stop thinking about even the little time he has left. It's a big step for Tsunehiro, who has realized the big change in his life and may tell his friends that he has a tumor, which will be a sad moment. I hope he continues to interact with Ice. |

| I was wondering why they focused on the youjo senki cosplay so long but then I remembered this is a studio NUT original lol. That’s so dope tho, hopefully a sign that season 2 is almost here? It’s been like 4 years since it was announced. Fair enough Tsunehiro went a whole episode without being a dickhead for once. Proud of him. In the second half I’m really looking for them to pick up his character development and have him grow pretty quickly. 5 eps in and he was really hard to watch. Hoping Hana and Ice are that catalyst of change for him Speaking of Ice, ngl man for a supposed model why did they design her like this 😭 like the art style changed midway thru but she was cute at the start, then that face the rest of the way was.. yikes. Fishing trip was cool, she and tsunehiro barely survived that boat ride lol. I do like that they covered the idea of telling those you care about a terminal illness even if you yourself are kinda in disbelief just so they’re not blindsided. I wonder if he’ll eventually do that. Party at the end was so sweet, he really did need friends |

| MC just went a became a good character I actually teared up a little towards the end seeing how nice they are to him and that he is able to come out of his shell more, and I loved that Ice was able to help him without doing anything dramatic or even having him say it out loud, good writing. As always Hana's faces are hilarious, especially when she is trolling MC  |

| Fuck, that was a heartwarming episode. I like how we're getting to know the cast one by one, I'm starting to fall in love with this group more and more. Ice just shot up the best character list, she's awesome. I don't think I see much Thailand representation in anime so it's cool we have both Ice and Arua from there. It's great that Tsunehiro's terminal illness is being brought up again, I mean it's not a good thing, but Tsunehiro is starting to reflect about it more, especially with his new found family. Those Hana faces fucking killed me though lmao. |

| Finally, some character development for Tsunehiro, it's been a long time coming. Ice is amazing like Tsunehiro said. A Thai who can speak Japanese and Chinese fluently, fishes, and works as a cosplayer. And to top it all off, she's a good friend to Tsunehiro. |

| @otakuweek fair enough I have quite liked the pace personally, because we have taken time to get proper introductions to other characters like Hana and now Ice, who I think are good characters. I do admit MC has been rather frustrating for the most part, but now maybe we can start to feel a pay off if he will finally begin facing his problems. Maybe you should try one more episode and it might surprise you :) |

| We actually went a week without Tsunehiro getting shit, is this even the same show anymore? Lol. Jokes aside, this was a really heartwarming episode with a lot of focus on one of the little gremlin characters, Ice, but she turned out to be a lot of fun and just radiates positive vibes, both her and her brother Arua, it’s also cool that they’re from Thailand, not sure if I’ve ever seen it represented in an anime before, also the cosplay thing was unexpected, I thought that was a new character at first lol, nice references to Overlord and Tanya the Evil too, two series I haven’t seen but will definitely one day lol. I also really enjoyed the fishing in this one, I would love to try and fish for sea bream like that one day, I’m just not sure if I’d get sick from the boat or not lol, it looked very chill tho, and Tsunehiro even bonded with Ice on the trip which I liked. And near the end we got a callback to the terminal illness plot when Tsunehiro asked Ice what she’d do if she had two years to live, and I really liked her answer, maybe Tsunehiro will end up telling Takaaki and Hana about it eventually. And the very end of the episode was the cherry on top of this laidback episode, Tsunehiro crying as he realized how nice he’s got it now with these folks was very nice, Hana’s goofy expression after that really got me tho lol, that was hilarious timing. |

| Each episode that passes from this anime we get to see Hiro develop more in positive attitude and view in life in general. That is both thanks to his co-workers slowly forming bonds with him as well as teaching him different fishing techniques in the process. I'd like to say that with the introduction of Ice matters will start to brighten up more but I have the gut feeling that this will end in tragedy by the end. Maybe not though, who knows. |

| It's a slow build anime with lots of positive interactions from the character. MC is growing and changing at a good pace. I don't want him to be in absolute depression constantly or sudden miracle cure and it's building nicely towards him opening up more whilst keeping in check the reminder he was given two years to live by the doctor. Been an easy binge so far. My only worry is that it might veer off into the haha it was all a mistake about his diagnosis. I suspect the MC will let slip at some point soon about his situation. But glad he didn't blurt it out in his welcome party. Would have ruined the scene People are expecting way too much from this anime. |

| Ok good episode. We got more on ice. She really is pretty amazing and is doing everything she can to make the best out of her life. She can speak Chinese and Japanese. Also now idk what's worse in anime hearing broken English or Chinese. I think Chinese might be a bit worse for me since it's my native language. ALSO STUDIO NUT WILL REALLY DO ANYTHING BUT GIVE USE TANYA SEASON 2! They gotta be messing with us lol. Still cool seeing Ice cosplay of Albedo and Tanya. Two characters with very different builds actually so very impressive to pull that off.   |

| @YordaTrico yes,i was expecting him to be helped by his new friends but they just know about his house and nothing about his disease.... he doesn't really live anymore like somebody that is ready to die, i mean they failed in this part. i will not pretend to be a mangaka but to see him struggle more than just 1-2 ep could have been better before to see trying to have fun with his new friends... the theme is Adult cast, we are not feeling it... you convince me to not stop but i will be more disappointed at the end if i don't have sadness in the next episode... |

| Very nice ep. Sasaki isn't the best MC of the season (or even the best of the original anime from this year) but this episode showed that he still has give up live as come teling himself since the start of the show. |

| Ice is the star this episode. She cosplayed Albedo from Overlord. I caught a bit of a wordplay: tai ni ikitai. I want to go to Thailand, but it seems to have a different meaning. Also, Tsunehiro made a passing mention of his illness. Let's see where this will go. It's a healing anime yet could potentially be sad in the end. |

| Lol, almost forgot about "MC dying in 2 years" thing due to focus on fishing. Didn't expect that ugly looking character to be a model lol. Tanya and Albedo cosplay was fire though! |
| Welp, Tsunehiro may still have trouble around Everymart (especially when it comes to foreigners), but thanks to Arua and his otaku cosplay model sister of Ice, they get to venture out to do tai (as in taibara, sea bream fishing) in the early sunshine. And despite Kozue not feeling good about it, Tsunehiro feeling seasick...as much as Ice does show her vulnerability when it comes to boats, they're peas in a pod. The taibara fishing continues, though Tsunehiro and Ice hae been fishing for eons before one would bite their bait each, and once they caught it together, the whole group is in a collect-athon of sea breams to enjoyability. Above all, Ice still having the spirit to live her life out, as a contrast to someone who will be dying in less than 2 years, it's how she takes into life, that should be the objective of Tsunehiro to figure his dreams out while he still lives. And a celebratory surprise welcome party feast is not what Tsunehiro expected out of Takaaki and the rest, though being served Thai fish dishes certainly hypens the mood a lot more to experience new things that he otherwise would've passed. Good for you Tsunehiro. |

| So Ice is a model and cosplayer wow. Albedo and Tanya cosplay looked sick. Good to have more of her. Also the boats do shake a lot in mid sea. I have only rode ships on ocean but can imagine just how much more a small boat would shake. Also love cilantro. That smell is so good. Anyway was nice to him be so happy. |

| I feel like everyone is making decisions for him instead of him doing it himself. Lol I don't understand why Ice's design changes from one moment to the next. Makeup? I really liked the ending! Like in real life; these parties are predictable. But it's still great. |
