It takes place in the city with drama, opportunities, and a lot to discover. It has a serious vibe with mostly an adult cast. Haru is the most noticable character with his charisma. Kirika seems like an interesting person too. Will look forward how the plot will involve these characters. |

| From the mangaka of Dr. Stone, comes Riichiro Inagaki's newest series of Trillion Game alongside veteran illustrator Ryoichi Ikegami, and it's a 2-cour fest of a 26-episode long series, even though this is Madhouse's B-team on the job. &TEAM's OP is alright, but Klang Ruler's ED is better. The nobody known as Manabu "Gaku" Taira 8 years ago and surrounded by a gang of hooligans to be saved by his old-time friend of Haru Tennouji, it's the combination of the intellectual brain and the physical brawn, which has been his ambition since he's greatly into the IT side of things. Both guys looking for a job at the prestiged Dragon Bank, where the president's daughter of Kirika Kokuryu alongside company executives determine who are the best candidates for their company, but Gaku surely ain't one of those hopeful candidates even if he's infatuated with the company's past. On the other hand, Haru's socialist personality allows him to interest the higher-ups, even if Kirika knows that it's all nothing but utter lies, even if she tests him in both French and Chinese, which he makes it all the more convincing. It's too bad that Manabu can only settle for the lowest of side-jobs as a cleaner cleaning the place that he just went for an interview on, and Haru... skee his way from the roof purposely to see the matter, and the latter defintely has a plan to make it big by taking on the biggest bank: Dragon Bank and Princess Kirika, with a challenge he will not back down from: earning a trillion dollars, thereby the Trillion Game, together with Manabu, being the world's most selfish men alive. You've got to give it to Riichiro Inagaki, he knows how to make a story this hype. |

| Didn't expect to see an anime adaptation for this. Inagaki hit the jackpot with 2 big adaptations before, but for Ikegami it's the first TV anime. Haru is a cool character. Him and the ambitious premise have Inagaki written all over it. Fun start that makes you hungry for more. The ED is such a vibe. |

| You can already tell someone like Haru was born and bred for power moves and big gamer moments but I gotta give some credit to the sidekick dude. Hacking into a security camera's feed with a freshly bought laptop is pretty damn metal itself. The reveal of what he actually replied in the interview tho LMAO |
| From the title I thought this was gonna be an anime with high stakes games or something alike but doesn't seem like it? A bit slow start but interesting. Character designs kind of a mix of good and ugly but as long as the story/plot is good I don't care much. Interested to see how things will progress. Btw rooting for Manabu more and like him better than the other guy. OP/ED were both okay. Hopefully this will be another great show from madhouse. |

| Interesting first episode, this. I’d my eyes on this one simply because of the creator and if the story of anything like Dr. Stone’s, I think I’ll end up liking this one quite a bit. Quite a feisty goal to attaining a trillion dollars, yo. I guess they form a formidable duo with their unique skill sets but it’ll take more than just that, one has to feel. Guessing Haru-san has a lot more to him that we’ll find out along the way. Haven’t seen something like this in anime before, now that I think about it too. Let’s see how this goes ~ Animation isn’t obviously the greatest but I could like with it. There was the Fable that lived up story-wise earlier this year and I’m hearing Yatagarasu did the same too so there’s some reliable track record to go with. @CrunchyCrobat Cool, thanks for pointing that out, I've yet to complete the series so I can't add much to that, but I'd be lying if I said that the character designs didn't bother me at all. Still would've probably finished it if I wasn't busy this summer but welp, I'll make sure to binge by the end of the year at least. |

| Haru and Gaku couldn't be any more opposite of each other if they tried lol. A duo like that, aiming to attain $1 trillion dollars. Quite a lofty goal, let's see how they pull it off. I'm really liking the ED theme, it's a got a groovy vibe to it that you can't help but bop your head to. |

| Wow... 5/5... I really hate saying this, but, the charismatic MC, they gave him such an extremely punch-able face... I hate that line. So we got 3 characters: -Charismatic good guy that wants to basically be able to own everything (and also knows "all" languages (or at least some with a French/Chinese mix)) -Extreme social clown that is an IT wizard (what he did with the laptop hacking into the camera's and it's storage is actually so basic I'm pretty sure have done that too among some more advance things (due to Traumatic Brain Injuries, I likely couldn't anymore even if tried)) who can't get a job because like in the real world, employers fail their company -Very intelligent women who speaks many languages, or at least a french/chinese mix and actually cares about company other than parasites on rest of board (just like real life) I was going to skip this, because the art style, especially that guys face, I really don't like. However looked at reviews and this episode was awesome. Other than his face or similar, looking forward to!!! He's such a boss and was expecting something like that with the building. He really uno reverse carded. |

| Well time for Ikegami's sensei's first TV adaptation. His style would be hard to replicate, even the J Drama (which I recommend) changed some things visually. Skirt around copyright by only showing a part of altered Microsoft, Amazon and Google logos. The rest of the interview panel sees Kirihime here as the result of nepotism but she recognised Gaku's potential when he mentioned Dragon Bank's security breach and knew Haru's claims were too good to be true. If only Gaku were as extroverted as Haru. At the same time, Haru has 99% luck, he beat up the bullies in the CCTV camera's blind spot yet the van moved, nailed the interview but quit on orientation day as he only had communication skills. With Gaku's skills, traces of his act were erased, if they were to team up once more... |

| I hate capitalism so I won't like this anime by the very side it wishes to take. However the hacking part where Wired Equivalent Privacy is mentioned was done well enough. I recognized that Linux terminal logo. One of the rare anime to have realistic hacking. |

・| Was very surprised to see direct references to actual wifi cracking software done in a reasonable way and not some mystical technomagic. Gaku was using Aircrack's airmon and airdump tools to sniff wifi traffic. Aircrack, PTW attacks, and WEP encryption are considered somewhat archaic and/or obsolete, but also likely relevant for the types of archaic technology you would see used at a parking lot or structure. It's actual hacking and not just technobabble and that makes me happy.  |

| "If you have 1 trillion dollars then you can have anything" well yes, that's a crazy amount. 1 trillion dollars is more than 10 trillion in the currency where I live. Putting that aside, honestly this is one of the anime that I'm really looking forward to this season. I like the premise, the concept, the characters are okay, and I think it's going to be a brain game? It's just that I'm a bit bothered by the characters' mouths (and teeth) while watching. Well but whatever, hopefully this will actually be a tense and quite serious 'game'. MAL only put drama as the anime genre so I hope this .... won't be something too dramatic... |

| An ambitious, confident and eloquent guy, joins forces with a shy IT genius, together they decide to reach the top....interesting Here we have a rather classic duo of opposite characters, it is presented in a slightly exaggerated way, but from the very beginning their relationship seems nice and credible. In general, the plot is a capitalist wet dream and it is interesting. I don't know much about all this stuff, so this anime has a very simple task when it comes to drawing me into its illusion and making me believe in all the things that are happening on the screen, I will not think that they are complete nonsense. A better approach to hacking deserves a plus, it is not presented in a stupid way like magic like in other anime. The animation is sufficient and despite these sometimes strange faces, I like it. The first episode set me up very positively, it is definitely something different when it comes to this season, so well.. 5/5 |

| With a flamboyant mc and an IT sidekick doing their best for capitalism, this is my favourite. Too bad beautiful women don't have attractive designs though. I might eventually check out Dr Stone if this is good. |

| Enjoyed it enough to want to watch the next episode. I loved the character design, the music score and well... the ending was very well done. I was initially turned off but how exposition heavy it started but otherwise, it gave me similar vibes to shows I used to watch in the 90s and some early 2000s. |

| Bit of a meh start. Premise is interesting but this" walmart one piece" art style is even worse than i expected. especially the mc's character design, it's truly hideous. not digging his personality either. story's a bit all over the place at the moment but maybe it will all come together. giving this the three episode rule. 3/5 from me. |
