| Ye, this whole experiment thing has really pushed Tatsuya to his limits. We also got a close moment between Tatsuya and Miyuki. On the other hand, at least the tournament is still on and we got some gameplay and competition this episode. I kinda lost interest in the tournament itself, and don't really care who wins. This parasite threat is the main factor..and this season imo generally has an eerie vibe since it started. |

| Oh yeah, this was all about a school competition in the end. Totally forgot as all this time the series was busy with its usual politics, and Tatsuya playing the detective. We get it this steeplechase thing is specifically introduced to brew tensions within their magical community, but Tatsuya would handle it anyways right? Like he’s doing with Miyuki’s very obvious attempts to get laid all this time, RIGHT? Like that segment where we went melodramatic with Miyuki stopping Tatsuya to play the hero, like he always does, because she can’t stand him taking it all on himself just made an already all over the place episode even more worthless. Like why was it needed, will it stop our god-kun to actually not to do these things going forward? No. Will it help others in any way? Of course not, so just why lol. Anyways, in between all of this, we actually had those competitions too, believe it or not. People were floating, water was splashing, kids were competing.. for some reason, didn't feel like it was for the competition lol. Terrible pacing. Anyways, sorry you people but there's nothing you could hide from chad-sama. |

| Pixie, the best girl, or robot, or whatever she is, is back! The Kushima family's secret experiment involved developing a Paraside Doll, which allowed a female combat robot to be possessed by a parasite. Paraside Dolls are essentially the same as Pixie. It's likely that the Kudou, who are aware of Pixie, attempted to duplicate her. Parasites can sense their kind, whether they are occupying humans or mechanical hosts, as demonstrated by the incident in February. However, Pixie reports that she cannot sense her brethren. Security at the Steeplechase Cross Country venue, where the Paraside Doll is being tested, is extremely tight, and even Tatsuya cannot break in. Instead, Tatsuya orders Pixie to monitor the parasite while he adjusts the CAD and guides his junior students as an engineer. Tatsuya is instructing his juniors in CAD tuning protocols. Unexpectedly, one of the juniors proves to be skilled and knowledgeable, quickly becoming a valuable assistant to Tatsuya. However, the continuous hard work and stress have left Tatsuya feeling more exhausted than ever before. How they'll wrap up the Steeplechase in just one episode is anyone's guess, but we'll just have to wait and see. |

| Tatsuya looks super menacing when his eyes are tired and there's a shadow over them like this The Nine Schools Competition is making me realize that in the story it's been a year since season 1, while irl it's been almost 10. Wtf the subs at 5:24 are completely wrong. Miyuki is not saying "I wonder if Brother is cold.", she's saying "I wonder how much/to what extent Brother acknowledges me". The next line is correct though. It can be translated as both "I wonder if Brother is cold." and "Aren't you cold, Brother?", so I'm guessing it's just a little error on the translator's part. What Miyuki said was certainly selfish, but I like how it lead to Tatsuya just stopping caring about stuff lol. He got some freedom finally. |

| Tatsuya surprising the Kuroba sibs who were famed for their spy abilities lol. Eimi sure sniped like a boss there. Nice to see Pixie again. Tatsuya using hismelf as bait to allow Miyuki to sleep soundly was just like him. First highs performance though was impressive. As was Ayako's during the fairy dance. If anything deciding to use the parasites on the final day of a high stakes event like Nine schools really is just a recipe for disaster. |

| Hollly what an episode, it’s finally time for the nine school competition and the parasite situation is about to reach its climax. Miyuki confronting Tatsuya and straight up putting her foot down in a way we’ve never seen and being selfish about him trying to save everyone was really surprising. I know she was worried about all the stress he was under, but to confront him like that and even threaten sealing his eyes was bold… And Tatsuya listening to her was even more of a shock 😳 . I fully expected him to use some spell to knock her out while he went out to scout.. Not that that did much anyway because no way Tatsuya doesn’t get involved and stop the scheme as we saw at the end of the episode. I’m sure his master knew Tatsuya was following he and the lieutenant which is why he confronted her and got all that info.. As for the competition itself, kinda sad they speedran everything. I actually really like seeing the schools competing. I couldn’t help but laugh at Shippou getting his ass beat in yet another competition though 😭 just been constant Ls for him this season Good seeing Pixie again too! One of my fave things of season 2 so hopefully we see more of her |

| Great to see Pixie again, missed her. Some cute Miyuki stuff too. She was really worried, Tatsuya was overworking himself after all. They speedran the competition and first high won most of the events. The Kuroba twins won theirs though, Shippou got his ass kicked again. So the plan had even more secrets and while they wanted to keep it from Tatsuya he found out anyway. Now I wonder if Kokonoe sensei knew he was there or not. |

| @Embient I was perturb by the fact that there was a constant shadow underneath Tatsuya's bangs the entire episode. I understand the darker shades underneath his eyes to make him look tired; but, the shadows underneath his bangs I felt was excessive. Even at the sleeping scene there were just random triangle cutouts in the shadow by his eyes that look unnatural. |
| The scene between Miyuki and Tatsuya was pretty tense. She was right to confront him as he has been working virtually non-stop, which you can see how much it has worn him down from his facial expressions. She definitely did act selfishly, but she did succeed in stopping him from going out. After this, he does look more refreshed than before. =) Other than that, it was business as usual for First High, as the montage showcased that Tatsuya's winning streak remained intact. Still, the Steeplechase event is fast approaching and how the parasites will be dealt with remains uncertain. Tatsuya did listen in onto that conversation involving his master, so t'll be interesting to see how he'll take action when the event itself begins. Fingers crossed that everything goes smoothly... |

| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |

| Yeah I know Miyuki being selfish but she also know that her brother was pushing himself way too much. I also think that Tatsuya was being too reckless. He probably didn't notice how reckless he was until Miyuki. Yeah a lot of conspiracy and stuff is going on as usually there is never gotta be peaceful. I wouldn't be suprise that Tatsuya master actually notice his exist in the conversation to let him hear everything. |

| Sometimes an overly adoring sister needs to tell her brother to stop overworking himself to the point where when his power is needed he'll be ineffective. She actually got her message through too. I'm a little saddened that the Ninja Master ended up just letting Tatsuya go ahead because he values his student's use as a political / combat pawn more than that student's life. Ugh. |

| I love how a lot of us missed Pixie. Truly a missed opportunity. I hope she gets more screen time in the following eps. Pretty different episode this week with Tatsuya almost breaking down and with all the politics moving behind the scenes. |

| Miyuki comes to mind when I hear "brocon" just as much as Yuuno Gasai when I hear yandere and its because of scenes like "You must be cold let me warm you up with my body". Lmao Tatsuya straight up paid no attention to the other dude giving his lifes backstory. He really got himself overworked. I have to praise this show for conveying the dune like "plans within plans" in a way you can actually follow them. That beeing said I dont see why the JDF wants the parasite dolls gone if they think they wont malfunction? Of course Tatsuya has been paying attention. PS: Im almost sad we rushed through the tournament, the competition was really good in season 1. I kind of want to go back and rewatch that now. |

Honestly, I feel that when it comes to this series (and a few others), people don't really regist they are true brothers, or at least we don't attribute the proper gravitas such a thing would have, so this is still incest, but it doesn't feel that sinful. Real-life incest would be a different story, but for this, it is fine. People just NOT taking it seriously. Now if for Oregairu, there was incest suddenly, that would gross me out. |

| This show always feels like the author is just making shit up on the way. Not like it's contradicting anything established before though, but it's also never something that anyone could've guessed from previous information. |
