| Not going to lie, Higuare gave me the creeps. The tree looking monster has the intelligence of a human but look of a monster. Speaking of which, Nihilo is back although looked much less menancing than before, although it might be a facade. Episode wouldn't be free of violence though, as that seems to be a recurring trend for the show. |

| Without a doubt, Nihilo is the best girl. Hired as mercenaries in the New Principality of Lithia, Higuare the Pelagic and the Shalk the Sound Slicer pay a visit to the vigilant Taren the Punished. While Higuare the Pelagic, boasting an undefeated record in slave gladiator battles for over a decade, shares his past, Hidow the Clamp with his heavy restraints is making a stop at a mountain village along with the trouble-causing Kuze the Passing Disaster. Seeing Kuze, who claims to be an enforcer for the "Cult," Hidow begins to question the strength of this supposed executioner. You know, it's kinda unsettling to be around when Higuare starts enjoying the whole killing thing. And his name doesn't really match the speed he moves with. By the way, I was really interested in hearing that Shark story. Kuze, for all he's been through, seems like a surprisingly chill guy, especially going back to the orphanage where he used to be. We've caught up with everyone, and now it's time for the long-awaited tournament arc. We're in for a treat because Yagyuu is making a comeback in the next episode. |

Won't it be better for the nation(s) for the hero to be anonymous so they don't have to reward them or something? Or maybe they want the hero as a military force... The OP looks a lot cooler now that we actually know a bunch of those characters. Damn, I starting to really like Higuare. As I understand it Mandrakes in this are something in between a plant and a animal, they have conciousness, but... it's less developed than that of animals? Idk how to say it. Yeah, Higuare is my favorite one so far. 12:09 "Human. Kuze the Passing Disaster." That angel is actually really scary. Ooohhh, the next episode is called "Gathering of Factions". So no more new characters I guess (for now at least). My favorite episode so far. |

| Lana taking both Shalk and Higuare the Pelagic, the latter as a former mandrake Gladiator, he finds himself being a slave to fight against minian gladiators in a kill-or-die situation, that's all that he's tasked to do. Well, everyone wishes for his fall, but as invincible as he is, he just can't die. That is until the True Demon King's army comes to raid the premises, and his mission is clear as the eye can see: to kill or die under the hands of minians. That's why Taren has Lana brought both Shalk and Higuare together to build their Lithia forces. Kuze travelling with merchants of Hidow the Clamp as his boss, together with Nihilo, they find shelter within Ripel the Frost Leaf's orphanage that's full of children living within his blessings. But Ripel telling Kuze that Lithian forces have come to convince them, he just can't help her, and to make things worse, some Lithian soldiers have come for him, with his concealed silent angel partner helping him out. But Ripel getting injured in the line of fire, she soon succumbs to her injuries as dies on the spot, next to the church whom she serves. The only angel that Kuze can detect, she is the angel Stabber, Nastique the Quiet Singer. All the main players have been covered, and the action can finally begin. |

| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |
| The previously shown mandrake and angel got introduced, both are cool. Skeleton seems like an interesting one too. RIP that poor girl though. |

| Damn I fucking love this anime. All characters that were introduced are so so good. Cool, strong, badass, easy to root for. Higuare was so badass, charging into the whole army by himself, swiftly cutting that fruit that no one even saw how. That reveal of 42 swords... Insane. I wonder if he can do anything to Shalk though, since Shalk is a skeleton, surely poison won't affect him? Though, his poison affects living beings and Shalk is a living being despite being a skeleton. Too bad we won't ever find out about this. Kuze also surprised me, he turned out to be a much more likable character than I anticipated. |
| yeah, by the title of the next chapter we are done with the characters of the tournament or at least most of them. like I say before, this tournament should be of epic with so many powerful characters. |
| Well I wasn’t expecting to see a murderous tree lmao. Also offering him fruit is kinda insane, of all the things to give him 😂 I’m sure it was just to test his poison and see his abilities up close but still. Higuare backstory being a slave forced to fight for his life on a daily basis was interesting. I also found it cool how he basically got better at fighting by mimicking human movements. Even though he can’t move the exact same way, he took what he saw them doing and applied it to him. Definitely one of the coolest characters I’ve seen before. His design not being a straight up walking tree like Groot also makes it more original. The second half was pretty cool too. Nilho is hot af and the death angel protecting dude is another broken ability. I really can’t wait to see everyone square off in this battle royale. There’s gonna be so much craziness. All these characters have some really broken and fun abilities. It’s like sitting at a character select screen and trying to pick out who you wanna play as lol, but in anime form. Def one of the most unique shows I’ve seen |

| I've liked the character backstories and the ones shown today were really well done but it's too bad that they kind of ended abruptly. On that note Higuare has a gentleman-type voice but is a killer for sure. In the 2nd half Kuze and Nihilo were visiting the orphanage and for a minute I thought she was the angel but that turned out to be a being that only Kuze can see called Nastique. I do wonder if some of these characters will work together, such as Kuze and Nihilo and also Higuare and Shalk. There's also Dakai that was previously introduced. |
| oh man! they're still not done exploring and introducing extremely strong characters! only deciding factor here is if there is a competent strategist! and not some godlike asspulls! the build-up is so exciting but at the same time it might be a miss if they suddenly eliminate the obvious stronger ones! or we might be in a surprise because they might be hiding some actual plot and not just royal rumble or tournament-ish setting...lolz 5/5. |

| The last 2 episodes have improved a lot but... They are introducing all these characters so that when the fights between them begin, several of them die exaggeratedly easily, that's what I sense. Which is fine, but I can't connect with anyone so the introduction doesn't make sense to me but I understand what it is for, but as I said at the beginning; I liked the last 2 episodes much more than the first 3 so I've already sparked my interest a little. |

| A mandrake that kills not just a recipe on some potion. A wyvern that goes dungeon hunting and kills a dragon. An elf with an op word power. An angel for whatever reason protects that guy killing everyone nuisance he came across. A samurai with shit blade but manage to cut a humongous golem. Man, this intro got me hype. |

| Damn never thought before that those groot-like Sugita character is actually a mandrake. A free slave Mandrake, Higuare the 42-arms Pelagic. Last character that needs to be introduced is actually another survivor of True Demon King era. Why? Because he has angel watching him over nearby! Wow and to think that those angel actually a quiet singer too tho, a Stabber, or so the narrator described her.... Enough with the character introduction from both faction, time to gather all factions together right? Bout time! |

| Okay, I really hope we are mostly done introducing characters now. I am getting some Drifters vibe here, but I would hope the series would not end up with a similar cliffhanger after having barely introduced cast and situations. |
| To be fair these characters introduction seems to be creating the plot to something big. I know it does feel like we're not moving forward with the plot but I think it's just something big that will happen in last few episodes. Who knows though. |

| Wow, I didn't expect that I would be really interested in this anime and that I wouldn't fight myself to watch the next episode haha. Finally, the characters from the previous episodes return, the first half of the episode was ok and the second half was really nice, the giants pulling the cart were interesting, as was the angel. It's a pity that despite everything I don't like any character enough to support her, the purple-haired one and the guy who escorts her are close, but still not XD |
