| Lewis, dejected that Bravern could not pilot him, finds a rather peculiar alien girl washed ashore...but who exactly is she? The aftermath of the Superbia attack leaves many casualties, but whom they can't attend to now, is the same exact girl he picked up from the beach. At the very least, Bravern is now accepted as part of the force to prepare and train for the attacks from the Deathdrives. Isami's former buddy Honoka Suzunagi apologizes for her earlier actions, but then again, could not force Isami to come out of Bravern's cockpit. Once again, the Deathdrives come attacking the coast from underwater, but Isami doesn't want to be associated anymore with Bravern, but still has to do it anyways. While Lewis is resuscitating the alien girl, the underwater combat continues, though without Isami, Bravern could not perform to his best, which its attack is the infamy of old Tokusatsu shows. But while Lewis manage to hold out the alien girl Lulu, Bravern get blasted away to the motel where both stood. The alien girl Lulu, what's her purpose? |

| So Lulu is a newborn alien right? At least that's what the shot of the turtle laying the egg was implying. Bravern's probably an alien born on Earth too given how he knows a lot about Earth culture and Isami. |
| you can't imagine how happy i am that this show has the same goofy sense of humor as the old brave shows. some staples are still missing though: combining robots, an apex 5-way combining robot, and aliens who transform non-mecha things into giant robots. once those are revealed we'll really be cooking. |

| The turtle laying eggs on the beach matches with Lulu's apparent origin as an alien baby. With Smith hung up on Bravern's rejection (who favours reluctant hero Isami) I think he will get the "be careful what you wish for" treatment and end up piloting one of the Deathdrives. Hawaii base's current occupants form NEST with Bravern. He should be careful not to step on his newfound Earthling allies during training! yeah, how does Isami go...does Bravern's cockpit have that one feature G-Reco MS have lol While Isami narrowly misses a chance at freedom, Smith finds the red-eyed blue-haired girl in his motel room not breathing and we get a mishearing-CPR-as-sex joke to remind us why this isn't shown to kids at 7am in Japan. Smith can't use a defibrillator on NotTRei without taking off the NotPlugsuit. Her Deathdrive instincts have reacted to Smith's hands and she starts attacking him. Bravern can't talk underwater and so covers his rather human face with the same mask he uncovered when he debuted. I think he himself was originally a Deathdrive but became interested in Earth pop culture after overhearing the noisy planet Earth's TV and radio signals. In addition to knowing Earth's languages like German and Japanese, he is also familiar with James Cameron's The Abyss (this predates Evangelion's LCL by about 6 years). Smith accidentally hits a button dissolving her suit (the same tech as what made Isami's clothes disappear in Bravern's cockpit?). Not before long, she calms down. Could the Deathdrives brainwash/control her through the suit? 21:59 Bravern gives birth to Isami into a puddle of amniotic fluid. Isami and Shinji would have a lot to talk about when this gets into Super Robot Wars. |

Obari has graced us with the privilege of seeing Isami's naked body the entire episode. Even if there was absolutely no narrative reason to do so. Because seeing Isami's naked body is pretty nice π. (Also we got to see Lulu's naked body too, but who gives a shit about women, amirite fellas?)
Also, I appreciate the realism of the locker room scene having the women wear sports bras. No lacy lingerie for you fellas. Only practical and comfortable support! π I know I ain't wearing underwire at the end of the world.
So when do we get a foursome with Isami × Smith × Bravern × Lulu? It's gonna be difficult to portray, but I think the show can pull it off. (Someone here mentioned that you can sometimes merge mechas. So if Lulu and Smith can share a super robot and merge with Bravern and Isami, the foursome is not too far off!)

| Quite the fanservice with Isami and Lewis today ^^' Still not sure where the show is going, but I'm enjoying it. It's funny and Lulu is interesting! And then there's Isami's bi- no, pansexual(?) harem of a robot, his new buddy and a girl who seems to like him a little too much. It's... something else, I guess :D |
Why aren't more people watching this? It's honestly the funniest anime of this season!
OMG I need to breath, the laughs just kept coming. That ... was great. This show needs memes, gifs and more word of mouth advertising. Just so much fun. |

| Started watching this because folks on twitter were calling it a "gay mecha anime" and well, it's certainly pretty gay in some ways because of Bravern and Isami's "relationship" As for the tone, right now it's going back and forth between being a self-parody and trying to take itself seriously once the fighting starts happening. Will at least give it a couple more episodes to see where it's gonna go with the story and tone. But right now I'm entertained. |

The best part of this ep was the new space waifu, she is so cute. Now I think that this anime is really underrated, I wonder what the situation is like in Japan |

I'm wondering why more people aren't watching this on here. This is excellent entertainment. It doesn't take itself seriously, and yet it's so worth the watch. I can't help but at least snicker at the dialogue. Oh yeah, the mecha action is top notch too.

| Lmao I had more fun watching Lulu beat the shit out of Smith than bravern fight. That girl, Honoka though. So did Lulu hatch from those alien mechas like how the turtle hatch was shown? Is she that blue mecha by any chance? Bravern might have a human form too in that case. |
