Welp, getting stuck together by a girl with the 2 of Diamonds of the power of Love Connection, Finn and Chris got sucker-adhered.

Vijay's hint leading them to Chelsea, but she's a real handful for both High Carders to initiate a cat-and-mouse chase throughout wherever her job goes. Chasing after the homeless maiden day and night, Chris being in a hurry for his date, and it seems like a real urgency. Finn getting awakened by the recurring nightmare of his dream when he was young, losing his family and then raised in the orphanage.

The reason for Chris's actions: a "date" that involves meeting his sister Michel, though she takes the yaoi treatment smoothly with no hesitation. Finn putting on a facade for Michel, and Chelsea unceremoniously tagging along by trying to rip Chris's facade in front of Michel, and as much as she tries to blackmail the brother, he always finds a way to smooth it over. But soon, Michel faints with an uncurable generic disorder, and forcing Chelsea to unglue their hand, Chris makes the decision to rush her to the hospital, amidst the grave concern that not wanting Chris to be worried about her, she ran out of the hospital.

Even until the end, Chris chooses to lie to gloss his troubles over with his mask of lies, and when revealed, shows a vulnerable side of him. Until then, the 2 of Diamonds will remain with Chelsea, and works at the High Card's usual hang-out bar.

Some much-needed character development for Chris, even if it was miniscule.

This episode for me broke the pace. After introducing the villain band and the lore in the previous we return to a funny episode but nothing i have already seen. I think this was better fitted in the first half of season now i presume is priority to continue with the plot (mysteries about the cards and the rival gangs,…)

I didn't expect Chris to have a sister! Now I can understand his persona💔 He's a sad boy but maybe Chelsea can help him cope💞

That was a whole new face for Chris, a much needed one if I must say so myself and the fact that her sister was so supportive of the misunderstanding was very sweet. I guess Chelsea will become a recurring character and maybe in the future will get with him... maybe.

Next up is... Finn's past? The scenario looks like the one in his dream.

Got some background on Chris and it looks like he was an orphan like Finn. I suspected something was wrong with his sister when she went to the bathroom and just stood there. I'm not sure if Chelsea and Chris will get together but at least she will see more that he's not just an empty face/husk.

People complaining about the pacing/type of story for this episode weird af man just enjoy the fact we got to see Chelsea fine ass. It’s also consistent with the theme of the show which is literally finding cards. Not every episode is gonna be a life or death mob fight. There’s 50 cards and the mob don’t have them all. Plus it’s kinda hinted that Chelsea might join them.

I thought the Chris and finn gimmick was funny, it was a little weird how they so casually passed over ol girl being in hospice care tho lol.

double kabedon pulled off by Chris and Finn
seems like Chelsea will become a semi-reg character now, which is kinda cool.
also, i can think of multiple reasons why he shouldn't, but Chris could technically give his card to his sister in hospice and she would live forever... technically.

Fine episode, but it could have been a lot better if they focused on Michel instead of the Love Connection power. It is what it is I guess. Chelsea was introduced this episode, and she wasn't too interesting of a character, but I wonder if she'll get much screen time from here on out. I'm not entirely sure why Chris was so caught up and was rushing to break the Love Connection, saying he had a "date", when he and Finn just went together in the end, I guess it was because he didn't want Finn to see his secrets?

The gag kind of bogged down the episode overall, though it was still a decent one. From the preview, might we be seeing Finn's backstory from his dream next episode?

So Chris and Finn were tasked with obtaining the 2 of Diamonds from card holder Chelsea, but they were tricked into having their hands stuck together by the Love Connection power. The two of them desperately tried to get Chelsea to undo the binding by chasing her all around town, but no success due to being stuck together. Turns out that Chris has an important date with his sister Michel and had no choice but to take Finn with him on the condition that Finn does not mention any of this to High Card. The three of them meet Chelsea again only this time Chris was putting on a brave face for his sister and managed to rope Chelsea into their little outing. However, Michel collapsed on the ground and was rushed to hospital. Michel unfortunately has a genetic disorder and was in no condition to be going out, but she sunk out of the hospital anyway to see her brother since he stopped coming. After hearing the truth about Michel's condition, Chris decides to play it off by lying about it to avoid the pain of possibly loosing her sister which confirmed Chelsea's claim of Chris having an empty personality by living through multiple lies. Chelsea decides to hold on to the 2 of Diamonds for now until she finds her soulmate and has settled with working at the bar where the High Card Members hang out.

We got a glimpse of Chris backstory in this episode and the next episode will be about Finn's past that causes him nightmares.

The forced hand holding creates some really good comedy and character moments this episode.

The terminally ill orphan does feel a bit cheap, but I'll allow it because Chelsea is such a baddie and has great chemistry with Chris.

I love the direction this show is taking right now. And this episode was also very good in my opinion! The balance between comedy, drama and progression was just perfect for me.

It was really cool to see more of Chris and how collecting cards from lawful citizens can be a lot harder than taking them from criminals by force!

The comedy of Finn and Chris chasing Chelsea while turning ga- I mean, being forced to hold hands, was really funny.

The second part with Michel was really sad. I was positive she would be hospitalized the moment I saw her, but I didn't expect her to be terminally ill.

Sadness aside, the character growth of Chelsea, Chris and FInn was very good during that part. I feel like they all learned a lot about themselves. Chelsea got a bit more confident in herself, Chris admits his weakness and how he is "empty inside" and Finn grew a lot closer to him as he got to know him better. Maybe Finn and Chris can fill each other's emptiness some time.

Cards only work with their chosen person, with a potential exception for Aces, as seen with Wendy. So Michel couldn't actually use the card.

Finn & Chris got stuck together by an girl with the 2 of Diamonds, they literally ran after her for the entire day almost lol.

Michel being Chris sister suddenly shows up and hangs out with the 3, including Chelsea, everything goes smoothly until Michel faints on the ground and Chris begs Chelsea to release the thing so that Chris can bring her to the hospital, it seems like Michel has an disorder, which is very saddening to see, apparently she escaped from the hospital.

Chelsea will continue working at High Card's bar until she is ready to hand over the card.

Felt kind of random, like the show decided to change direction for a bit, but I liked it. It's the best episode since the first one. It ended slightly too abruptly, but the end-credits scene fixed that a bit.

10 years ago I'd laugh a lot with the situation in this ep but nowadays I'm so tired of all the gay shit they put in everything (and this anime season has been specially annoying) that I had to skip most of it. At least the blonde is pretty as heck

Bro how could they get outsmarted by this instagram model like this? That was so dumb lol it's not even like her card is that dangerous or anything. Maybe they should've thought what to do or something before they walked up to her. Like they fr just expected to walk up to her and ask for the card? And when they finally had her back against the wall they really just let her walk away so easily? At that point why didn't they just force her to separate them and take the card?! :(

Ignoring Chelsea and her half assed reason to be a player though, we then meet Michel, Chris' sister who is apparently dying due to a genetic problem with her lungs or something? I didn't fully understand it but yeah. It also looks like some people were all like, "why can't chris give her his lungs since he can regenerate?" But I feel like that would bring up a few more problems, plus I don't think that would even work -_-

I'm sorry but I really did not like this weeks episode lol that felt so dumb. Like her only reason to hang onto this card, which makes her a target btw, was to find her soulmate? You can't find your soulmate if you're dead. Was I supposed to feel sympathy for them or feel bad? Because I don't :(

This weeks episode gets a 2/5 for me

Edit: I will admit though, I'm happy Chris finally got some backstory, but I think it needed a bit more depth, but it is nice

She reminds me of Harley Quinn. She actually turned Finn and Chris into a temporary couple 😂. How did she detect Finn's hand bro is a master thief??? The sound of him slicing his own hand was disgusting🤢🤢😂😂. How did she dodge them for 3 days🤔🤔😂 I'm so confused why didn't they just beat her up and take the card? This episode had some nice character development.
