| Asahi's life, depending on the girls, can be a wee bit crazy...or in the case of Amelia, quite the extreme approach. Aoi is the only one that's keeping the entire "family" together, but as for Amelia, from invading Asahi's bedroom just to get his toefoot stamp on the marriage paper to wanting to try out the tropey ketchup on Omurice, and with the Kanji test coming up that gives Karin a better name than her writing the Kanji for semen, she's an obsessed try-hard who doesn't like to lose. In the case of "Rock, paper, scissors", it's all about luck than actual "analysis", and losing all of her puddings to the rest. Amelia trying to learn Kanji her own way, but it's a far sensual way and something that will distract her. So instead, Asahi being persistent in teaching Amelia the correct style but not understanding how her mind works, it's a double-edged sword that she's trying her best to appeal to him, but with her words not matching her actions. Amelia's memory "flops" is of Asahi's pat to the head when they were young, the first indication. But her being able to pass the Kanji test with Asahi helping her, she's grateful. Starting out tropey can be bad, but there could be something decent here (if you're following the 3-episode rule). |

| Ah yes so I guess it will be one girl focused per episode and now it's Amelia who's struggling with Japanese and want to write kanji perfectly but only know the sexual ones (wtf) at least the issue has been resolved, the ending was somewhat heartwarming for her she improved fast |

| Learning Kanji from H-novel. NICE! Amelia. You see!!! Izumisawa Aoi is the best girl. She wears glasses. She can cook. She is kind and helpful. And, She is not rushing things like others. How did Aoi know about Asahi's favorite food??! That's a new mystery in the series. At this point, it looked like every girl knew him before. With a flashback from Aoi from the previous episode and Amelia's from this episode, and maybe the rest of the girls in future episodes. |

| I like Asahi a lot. He seems like an all around great guy also judging from the now TWO flashback type scenes with Amelia's included this episode. I believe that this is building up to these girls being all connected to one girl in the real world, in what way has yet to be seen IMO. In general an unexpectedly wholesome episode, this setup gives me a Little Busters! vibe. |

| Ugh, kanji. I kinda stopped learning JP because of it. For all the challenges that anime characters overcome, this one sure is relatable. Anyway, what's up with Aoi? She seems a bit too good. There has to he a twist. He was surprised that she knew his favourite dish - maybe she is a stalker? |
| bruh whole episode dedicated to learning kanji? well we got some amelia developments though. aoi is the most normal one among them, thanks to which she has taken up the role of mother in that house. all signs tell me it's gonna be her who will win at the end. now it seems like amelia knew asahi from childhood? whatever it is, i think we are not even close to finding out what the twist is gonna be. enjoyable episode though. |

| First girl to get a focused episode about her is Amelia, and I liked it a lot. It had a lot of goofy moments like usual, the opening bed scene was great, Amelia reading hentai out loud in her bedroom was good too lol, and her classroom blunder by writing “murky white liquid” was also hilarious. Not just that tho, I also loved Amelia’s learning kanji plot, she had the wrong idea about trying and not succeeding, it was nice to see Asashi give her something to try for and then see her improve by the end, it was pretty wholesome for sure, I love Romcom harems with a slice of wholesome personally lol. But once again the underlying plot is slowly revealing itself, with Aoi knowing what Asahi’s favorite foods are and the flashback Amelia saw, it’s interesting for sure but I’ll be enjoying this Romcom goodness in the mean time! |

| Alright, so who cares about the slice-of-life stuff. Amelia was working hard for a Kanji test yadda yadda yadda. What's important here is figuring out the mystery of this show and I'm going to be ignoring the story beats for the whole season to do it. Amelia unlocked a secret memory from her past of a young Asahi, so Aoi is not the only one. I'm going to assume all five of the girls (oops, I meant four girls and one boy) have a secret past connection with Asahi (yet another trope to add to the pile), but they seem to go through some digital brain blast when it happens. Is there something that is blocking these memories and a certain trigger unlocks them? Have they had certain memories wiped? Have said memories been surpressed for some nefarious purpose? Is Asahi some kind of special mental key to them unlocking their pasts? Why is the transition digital? Are they androids? Is it nanomachines, son?! What is this mental trigger and why do I feel like it'd be treated as this very important thing? I will figure this out. I refuse to believe this is just a standard sexy harem comedy where the girls have cute butts. There IS a twist, I know it. |

| OK, so I think we can safely say that each of the girls is going to have some past connection to Asahi from before this all started. I guess giving each girl a focus episode as a means of revealing that allows the writers to take it slow and keep their cards close to their chest for as long as possible, but I just hope the upcoming episodes are more entertaining than watching CHU2 learning kanji for almost the entire episode. |

| So it looks like they'll be focusing on each girl per episode now as this one was focused on Amelia and boy does she have a dirty mind lol. She knew all of the sexual kanji words and translated milk as "murky white liquid" damn lol. She, like Aoi, also had a flashback to recognizing Asahi from years past so now I'm thinking that all of these girls (and that boy) had previously interacted with him or someone that looks like him. Curious how all of this will end. |
