| eriol is such a little creep. and i'm starting to agree that ruby moon (or w/e her human name is) is annoying as hell. at least kero-chan was perfect in this episode. also it seemed like the writers were just trying to see how many times they could shove the words "cream soda" into the script tbh. |

| Oh, how nice of you Eriol for possibly feeling some remorse over the fact that you may have turned Rika off of swimming. Though what about the other patrons you may have traumatized or the reputation of that indoor pool you may now have hurt? |

Realistically, business will plummet, parents will ban their children from going there, and an honest business will go bankrupt. Employees will lose their jobs. Their families may suffer. All consequences handwaved for the convenience of the show, which just had to have a big action piece at any cost. If this were Harry Potter, Eriol would be condemned as inhuman scum of the magical aristocracy. |
| What does not kill you strengthens you, we could say, after this episode. Narrative that follows the usual course: the problem arrives and Sakura intervenes and solves the problem by converting a Clow card. The pool vacation we missed, now there is really little to no end, who knows what we should still see, while Touya suspected of Erol, a step forward in history not indifferent. |

| Touya is so much like his dad's character that it hurts. They barely emote and while Touya actually has a personality, he still seems to be unable to speak his real feelings. Much like their dad. He's such a strange character. I'm super excited about Eriol though. I'm getting the feeling that he really isn't a bad guy, but this whole time the show makes him out to be this creep in the shadows. I really like that. I also like the fact that I'm still unsure. Really good writing, honestly. It's really fresh and would be great for kids to watch. I'm looking forward to how it turns out and if Eriol really is the big baddy or not. He seems to really care for Sakura, and watching her character develop through these horrible circumstances, he seems good to me. |

| It's quite a surprise to see that Eriol actually showed remorse for what he did to Rika because of how dangerous and traumatic the situation must've been for her regardless of whether he undoes his magic when it gets too far. He's lucky that she's such a brave girl but I'm pretty worried about the resort because of all the lawsuits they might receive afterwards unless Clow erases everyone's memories except for Sakura and Pals. |

| I kinda want some cream soda now. Probably among the most inconsistent episodes in CCS. Eriol causing a huge tsunami and putting hundreds of lives at risk just to test Sakura; Kero managing to get himself out of a closed locker; Sakura having the "correct" card at disposal despite being in a swimsuit; WATERY somehow stopping the waves with some heavy rain; etc. |
| Well.. Drowning is serious matter.. Rika almost died.. It seems Nakuru wasn't the most glad about this danger as well.. Raising the question to Eriol at 22:28.. As well as it could traumatize Rika, really.. Psychologically.. Like at 22:57 Eriol asks, if Rika isn't afraid to swim now.. But Rika really could decide anything.. Like, imagine being in her place.. When you fucking almost drown, struggle in the water then, when so mane people panic.. She managed to remain calm there.. But it really could have been not like this.. She really could have just decided not to swim anymore at all, because it'd seem to her more of a risk than a reward, also with painful memories.. I guess, that with asking this question to Rika - I think Eriol realizes that he might have gone a bit too far this time.. |
| Touya has still been unable to tell Yukito the truth, because that annoying girl always purposely interrupts him. Sakura continues to grow stronger. |

| Not a good episode. We could've at least gotten something new character-wise, but we didn't. I've given Eriol something of a pass for all the fucked up shit he's done to "test" Sakura so far thinking that it's just a part of his character, and this is arguably the most fucked of them all, but now he's showing some remorse? It would've been better to just make him a fucked up, amoral individual, but I guess that'd clash too much with the show's established tone. The show still has virtually no concept of aftermath. And this is just a few episodes after Sakura and Syaoran noted that these magical incidents always happen to them when nobody's around, lol. Maybe Eriol/Clow just magically undoes the damage later offscreen. How did Kero-chan get out of the locker? Why do we suddenly care about whether the people distracted by the tsunami will see Sakura perform magic, when we e.g. didn't care whether the people distracted by the flower petals in the schoolyard would see her perform magic in the Flower episode (and she was really in the thick of things that time)? And how was Watery the right answer there? Some of the magical bouts have been a bit better lately, and then they throw that at us. |

| I'm no good at swimming, I can do all the water slides ect, that's easy. Wow both Touya & Yukito working at the same place, but how did Makuru also get a gig there? Quite the entrance there from Kero, I liked the red eyes. Crafty as always, drinking Sakrua's drink before getting caught. Eriol went to another level here, someone could have drowned, that was extremely dangerous for everyone. |
