Sachi is back an well again!

More importantly, we got storytelling about Sachi and Nagi's past. Cute kids but honestly, I don't think they changed much in terms of personality. It was still nice to see their connection in the past though.

Lmao the flashback at the beginning had me thinking it was gonna be a nisekoi rip off

Great episode. Love the fact that both erika and sachi are massive bro cons lol. So Erika really just saw her brother, who she clearly has feelings for in Nagi. Thats interesting.

But wait, either Erika is schizo or her dad’s lying about the brother. I wonder what his goals are.

Lmao Hiro finally realising the calculus of sachi being a rival too. Things are about to get really really interesting. I’ll probably start reading the manga this week.

Bro this anime get's so much weirder with each episode. So part of the reason she posts on social media is to find her brother and get his attention, but why? And Sachi is back booooo. Erika also has a brother complex, but its been Nagi the entire time. I wasn't expecting that. Why did Nagi's biological dad mention that Nagi could also marry Sachi?? Why is he supporting that?? Yeah, they're not biologically siblings but they were still raised together from when she was a baby, so its still weird. Why didn't the dad just tell Nagi that he used to study with Erika and completely dismissed the question several times? So many unanswered questions. This episode was weird. Also thought that the whole Hiro part was so unnecessary.

The secret is out of whom Erika is trying to find: her long lost brother, which looks like Nagi, but in fact, Sosuke Amano, his older brother.

But this man would not relent that he only knew Sachi and was brought up by different families, and sure enough that's how Erika would've wanted it to happen to locate him through social media, but was found by Nagi instead. However, this brings the notion of Nagi thinking that his presence to Erika is only used as a replacement for Sosuke...but a bro/sis-con? Nah. There's only one person that Nagi can directly confront: her father.

More of Nagi and Erika's backstory of their growing-up days together, and everything seemed pleasant. Despite Erika's rants though, her experience with Sosuke msut've been a hard-tried one. Between the father-and-son confrontation, the father trying to skive Nagi's attention away from the real problem, and other than the realization that Sosuke Amano just plainly doesn't exist, talking about family is the only thing that Erika's father can hide for as long as he could, and keep the relationship as it is: using his own daughters for his own gain. What a twisted adult.

It's the same for Hiro playing house to kids (which explains the story in the first place), and the sudden realization that Erika or Sachi would've made a better choice for him either way.

What a snively Dad to dodge every question and make situations look for him. Nagi is doomed...

Sooo, the truth comes out, Erika was treating Nagi like his brother, which... um... part of me just thinks that makes things weirder. But then again, Sachi has feelings for Nagi, so anything goes at this point, we shouldn't be surprised about Erika and Nagi's brother, really~
Getting to see smol Erika was the best, she was so cute!
I do feel really bad for our main cast and their families, though. That scene with Erika's dad really made it feel like this is a game to him, suggesting that Nagi could "just" marry Sachi like that. He's an expert at dodging and avoiding answering questions, and I hate him for that :3

Story time with Hiro was great, I loved the kids faces as she basically recapped Kakkou no Iinazuke for them (and us). The facial expressions in general were just hilarious this episode, with Sachi's being my faves.

Looking forward to next episode, hopefully we'll get some more details on Nagi's brother (if he actually exists)! That was a neat twist and I can't wait to see how things continue in the future~

I'm okay now... At least... I want to be able to say that.

Hmm to think that Nagi also had a brother as well. But it does explain why Erika was so intent on reaching that one person though. Nice to see Sachi recovered. Its amusing in that while Sosuke was identical to Nagi appearance wise he also had other hobbies as well. Little Erika bawling her eyes out trying to finish her worksheets though was adorable. But looks like Erika was quite fond of him. Hiro's doll story was pretty amusing as a analogy to the main narrative. Looks like she's quite popular with the local kids as well as her classmates. Overall an interesting ep that introduced a new dimension to the narrative via the entry of Nagi's brother Sosuke and the potential pairing of Nagi and Sachi the latter something that so far was only seen from Sachi's POV.

Great episode! Nagi is surprised to see the family photo with a person that looks like him in it...
he thinks he met her before but he is wrong...
Erika tells him that boy in the photo is his brother!
Nagi isn't surprised at all with the reveal and says his only sibling is Sachi xD.
Nagi's parents don't know about his brother it seems.
Erika was very surprised when she first met Nagi as she thought her brother had come back!
She's been posting photos of herself as she wants her brother to find her.
Nagi says they should try finding him and Erika agrees. Though she laughed at him saying he was the second smartest lol.
Sachi comes back to the house and Erika is now feeling fine.
Nagi feels he was just a substitute for his brother and was annoyed. Seeing how Erika always called him out on being overprotective of his sister xD.
Nagi says that he is going to talk to Erika's father and ask him about her brother. Sachi doesn't know about the full situation so Erika explains it to her.
Sachi's impression of Erika's brother was a lot more different than he was actually like lol.
Meanwhile, Erika's father is showing Nagi pictures of Erika's childhood.
He is refusing to say that Erika has a brother despite Nagi being told by Erika.
'I can't tell you about someone that doesn't exist' xD.
Erika's father then asks what Nagi thinks about Sachi-Nagi is surprised that they have both met.
'You must have noticed by now'...
Segawa (WHO I DON'T LIKE) told the kids who came up to her the baby switching story of Nagi and Erika in bear and rabbit form lol.
Erika's father says that marrying Sachi could solve everything also!

Looking forward to the next episode!

Oh yes and he is a TOTALLY reliable source of information who has NO ulterior motives whatsoever in anything he does.

You know whose memory I trust? Sachi's. Who would know whether or not Nagi was mysteriously disappearing to meet up with Erika given how clingy she was.

And I also trust the fact that Sousuke is 5 years older than Erika, which means if he's really Nagi, Nagi would look like he was in his 20s.

I agree with trusting Sachi more, but we don’t know her memories. On top of that, why would the “brother” leave Erika and go in a car while Erika stayed behind? Lastly, why did the “brother” and Erika look the same age in the picture she found?

Edit: but at the same time I do understand your reasoning because Erika said the “brothers” name
Another reason why I’m in doubt: how is it that Nagi and the brother both like studying? Not all siblings are identical and it kind of seems weird that the both of them are so studious

Look at Erika and Sachi. It's clear that this author is playing the "siblings resemble each other and are similar in most ways" cards pretty directly. Don't expect a lot of nuance.

And while they look kinda similarly-aged, Sousuke's 5 years older than Erika is. And he went in that car because he was going to a tutoring lesson iirc.

Now I am not getting the point of marrying sachi with mc. wasnt erika supposed to be married to merge families? But if the logic comes to sachi then the other family is becoming outsider since it has no relationship except of bloodline.

The fuck is that ending? Why would the Dad say "Oh well what about Sachi?" BRO WHAT DO YOU MEAN WHAT ABOUT SACHI?!?!?! YOU SET THIS SHIT UP WITH ERIKA HELLO?!?!?!

Then we get this mysterious "Brother" who might not even be a brother and who might just be Nagi after all.

I don't think Erika stuck around because Nagi reminds her of her brother. I genuinely think she enjoys her time with him.

Lowkey I don't care about Sachi or Hiro any more in this anime. Erika is way more interesting and enjoyable.

yeah... but they're still not brothers and you can tell Sachi never saw Nagi as her brother.

also, saying this series tries to normalize having a crush on your siblings is like saying Jujutsu Kaisen tries to normalize practicing sorcery and summoning. This is fiction and I see nothing wrong with it (it's definitely different when it comes to real life of course)

I’m not saying I have a problem with that. I’m just pointing out the obvious. And just because it’s fiction doesn’t make it any less stupid.

I always thought the boy in the photo was Nagi’s twin brother, but Erika says older brother. Something doesn’t seem right and I now think there is no brother, it’s just Nagi who used 2 different first names. But why can’t he remember living with Erika, and then later moving to his “adopted” parents? I guess more bombs are to be dropped.

And I also don’t get the “if you marry Sachi that will also solve everything”. Solve what? Maybe I am forgetting some basic stuff about this show. Why does he have to marry one of the sisters?

At this point nobody should say the plot has weaknesses, you could see that from ep 1.
Now, is either Nagi's second personality, memory loss accident, blocked memory or the rich dad is a jerk who's mad with the son for not approving what he did to his little brother and Erika.

Fairly interesting twist. I'm guessing that the 'older brother' Erika is referring to is none other than Nagi and for some plot twist reason he doesn't remember living and studying with a rich family for ages?

Or is there an actual older brother who will appear and maybe fall for Sachi, or be a suddenly appearing love rival that will force Erika to make a decision about her feelings for Nagi, and the dad is suggesting Sachi as a potential bride for a backup (but why would he need to if Erika and Sosuke got together?)? Personally I quite like Sachi and think she's got the cutest character design. Erika is too bleh, although fun at times.

And the plot expands to great lengths lol, personally I don’t buy that Erika and Nagi have a brother, I think Nagi IS the brother and this is some wild experiment by Erika’s dad, there’s no doubt he’s up to something now, and it’s also wild how he brought up marrying Sachi would also fix the situation lol, so I guess there is more to Sachi being part of the harem than the fact she’s the sister, and I’m sure at some point Segawa will be roped in as well because Erika’s mom looks similar to her lol.

I also enjoyed the bit where Erika pointed out how Sachi feels about Nagi and she just shifts her eyes lol, and I also really liked the wholesome ending bit where Segawa played with those kids visiting the shrine and made up a little play on what’s going on with the story, the kids being confused is accurate lol.
