 Pony Canyon opened an official website for a television anime adaptation of Takahiro and Youhei Takemura's Mato Seihei no Slave (Slave of the Magic Capital's Elite Troops) manga on Friday, revealing the main cast, a teaser visual (pictured), and teaser promo.Yuuya Hirose (Val x Love) and Akari Kitou (Youkoso Jitsuryoku Shijou Shugi no Kyoushitsu e) are starring as the lead characters Yuuki Wakura and Kyouka Uzen, respectively. Seven Arcs (Tonikaku Kawaii, Blue Period) is producing the anime series. Synopsis When entrances to a different dimension known as the "Mato" emerge all over Japan, a new resource known as "Peaches" are discovered which give unique abilities only to women. However, dangerous monsters called "Yomotsu Shuuki" also roam throughout the Mato and have been responsible for various disasters ever since. To combat them, the government formed the Anti-demon Corps, an elite group of women who have received power from the Peaches. One day, a high school student named Yuuki Wakura was walking home from school when he suddenly got lost in a Mato entrance. When he calls for help, he is immediately rescued by Kyouka Uzen, the chief of the Seventh Unit of the Anti-demon Corps. Recognizing his potential while also needing him to make her Peach power more effective, she asks that Yuuki join the Anti-demon Corps by becoming her slave, a position he might find more enjoyable than he initially would have thought... | According to the premise, the abilities called "peaches" can only be used by women, but why is the protagonist is a boy??? π‘π‘π‘ This is another one of those animes where the girls have something exclusive to them, but the male protagonist its the exception without any explanation. I do not understand why they must force a role that could perfectly be a girl and contradict the premise (? Every day I have less desire to expect something from this industry that has no place for us. |

| Looks like i was right, from the synopsis alone i was turned off and thought how this sounds like a poor excuse for a harem, upon checking the MAL entry, it's indeed confirmed as harem plus it's ecchi too, so nope, definitely skipping this. >_< |

| Akame ga Kill wasn't enough, so this is Takahiro's next big thing, and I can say that I'm really awaiting this to come. Seven Arcs isn't really the studio that I would think of adapting this highly "controversial" manga, and just oping that the animation and visuals will be decent when the teaser PV drops. AT-X will get this uncensored, that's for sure. |
