The Irregular at Magic High School (light novel)
| 2 months after the end of the 2nd season of the main series, and the announcement of the spinoff centered on Miyuki Shiba, we finally got the announcement of the Reminiscence Arc of the Mahouka Series. I will be more excited for this one than the Miyuki spinoff (Yuutousei), since it will reveal us the history of the Tatsuya siblings 3 years before the events of the first season. Are you excited as well or not? |

| Oh man, I'm really excited. When I finished the first season, honestly wasn't expecting a second season since it felt like one those animes that didn't get another season. At least, for awhile. Years later we got the movie and s2 almost in the same year? (Didn't check dates) I didn't know until s2 started to air thanks to MAL and to my surprise I get another notification from MAL announcing this arc so hell yeah I'm excited |
| let's go, we're slowly progressing towards adapting the LN. although it would probably take like 5+ seasons considering there are 32 volumes in the 1st season of mahouka. |

| So I just finished the manga version of The Reminiscence Arc, since it's only 17 chapters, and...wow this has to be the best manga I've read in a long time. It's not much since my manga activity is like a turtle compared to my anime activity, but this changed some of my qualms about the Mahouka series as a whole. I don't know why this was not chosen as the 2nd season's story line, but at least they've use it for the 3rd season. This might give a sense of 'redemption' for the anime series, since the 2nd season's Visitor Arc did not impress old and new viewers of the anime adaptation. Definitely give this a read folks, since it IS one of the best arcs of Mahouka yet. Only 17-18 chapters of manga and/or LN, so it will not take that much of your time. |

| Eventhough Mahouka isn't my favorite series or anything, I'm always happy when we get multiple seasons because I just want more anime to have full adapatations |

| Super stoked for this one, I wish we get all the 32 novels animated before the end of this decade but one can only hope for haha |

| With the Visitor's arc being it's own series and now this Reminiscence arc being one too, I wonder if the future arcs will also get their own series, if they're adapted I am looking forward to this, despite the incest tones of the entire series. |

| I'm lost over the vol order here, Raihousha-hen is after the Tsuioku-hen, right? I didn't read the LN nor the Manga but I know to follow the order the next arc should be the Double Seven, right?? |

From what we always have as adaptations they normally go to 1vol = 4-6 eps, maybe they can go with a slow pace and including all the details of the LN and for 1 volume a 8 episode anime. | Heck yeah I'm hype!!! Raihousha-hen is a bit disappointing, so I hope this would turn out well. Really hope they adapt everything in the LN from Tatsuya and Miyuki's past to the story of how the Yotsuba's were known as the 'Untouchables'. |

| This is not gonna be a new season for those who are asking, unless they add more arcs to it. Otherwise its going to a movie or a few OVA's as its just adapting a singular volume of the series. |

| YAAY!! I'm totally excited AF for this! Cuz I have always been a fan of the Mahouka franchise right from the first season and although the 2nd season wasn't that good as the first one. But still, I've always wondered, why is Miyuki a little too much attached than just siblings to her onee-sama and what's the link between them for them to awaken each other's latent powers as shown in S2?? Guess we're finally gonna find out🤩!! |

Now that you mention it I think there's an arc missing from what I can remember. Maybe if the include it they can drag it to 11 episodes which will make more sense....I really dont know tbh, would love to hear what LN readers think about it. They might be able to make a full cour out of this with the addition of the missing volume 5 and other short stories, alternatively they could also continue the plot and proceed with volume 12 and 13 (double7 and steeplechase arc). However it could also just be a movie or a 3-4 episode OVA |
