Ugh, I hate that perverted politican this episode. Felt bad for the elf girl.

We also got to see more skills from the main cast, some which imo are absolutely valuable. Aoi continues to demonstrate sword skills that are impressive. She and Winona makes a neat duo together. I did expect a serious episode but that really picked up. This one imo was one of the most intense episodes yet.

Glad they managed to save her before somethng bad happened. Also things got pretty interesting and intense. Wonder who that was inside Lyrule and looks like Tsukasa is gonna establish a new religion or re-establish one of the old ones.

Duh, some rape hentai with ugly bastard bait, railgun made in a day, ill equipped unskilled fighters who somehow manage to deflect all hits with a shield with no real experience or training, suddenly politics guy has a handgun on him and is a crack shor to the boot, but dont worry he is a good guy so he will not kill the baddie, forget the fact that most of castle guards are dead at this point. Really, it is some smartphone tier pulls. Why even bother with enemies if you can get the solution out of thin air?

Oh sure, ugly bastard is exactly what his anime needed. It always makes me wonder who and why writes villains like that? There is nothing fun about character that's made to be hated losing - after all he was made to lose and nobody will question good guys' deeds.
Tbh this anime is getting pretty painful to watch. I like the idea, I like OP characters, but it's so damn cheap it feels like a fanfic written by teenager.

Isn't it obvious? It is easy to do so, you dont need to make him any details, you dont need him to be an actual character - just make him ugly and make him do bad stuff. And yeah, most novels there are exactly that - a fanfic written by amatures. What surprises me most - the fact that it is popular enough to make someone think that making anime adaptation is a good idea.

This episode convinced me: this is NOT just another isekai. I didn't expect this show to take this direction when I started watching it. Our group now has the huge objective of leading a revolution and overthrowing the state, which would be really hard if they werent't so incredible at everything they do, they can achieve it because they are so damn OP. I haven't seen an isekai like this since Log Horizon

Ah yes good.. They put this in one episode.. Couldn't have stood any more of this ngl

I have to say tho.. At least this had more meaning than just "here some ntr fap material" and that bastarf actually did something instead of just oogling for 10min and spouting disgusting crap. Which is not positive but miles better than what I just described
And it also opened the door to a revolution + confirmation of them being the seven heroes and that dragon by skme kind of supreme being

Kind of disappointed that Tsukasa didn't kill him..? I mean.. They slaughtered nearly everyone, there was blood everywhere.. They didn't hold anything back. It showed how serious they are. And then the top tiers are just knocked out that is kinda lame idk

Not looking forward to a love triangle with Ringo

Some extra plot points from the manga:

- Inzhagi purposely took Lyrule to curry Findolf's favour to promote him to Golden Knight.

- Findolf has a thing for virgins - the source depicts him strangling a female tribute to death for faking her virginity; and Inzhagi appeals to his sense of cruelty by promising to execute the girl's entire family as retaliation.

- Shinobu has plenty of dirt on Gale's attacks and strategies. She went undercover as a bargirl at a tavern he frequented and flirted info out of him when he was drunk.

I've never seen any ugly bastard hentai, but I assume it would look something like what was going to happen to poor Lyrule in this episode. They made Lord Findorf especially ugly and fat because having concubines was something that regularly happened in ye olde times, so they wanted to make sure they had a sympathetic audience, and it sure worked.

Although, playing devils advocate, as someone mentioned above Lord Fat Bastard wiggly belly took ages just ogling and stroking her, in reality, if he heard people trying to invade, you think he'd just spread eagle her on the bed and whompf, virginity gone, poor Lyrule, but I'd have thrown my laptop out the window if that happened so just as well.

Looks like they're going to have to take over the world now, and hopefully Tsukasa will end up with Lyrule as well.

Quite the precarious situation that the team and the villagers have found themselves in though. Though they could have gone for the cheap peace option its admirable seeing the villagers unite to fight to rescue their friend. Lyrule's magic affinity though sure came timely but man that lord was just such a jerk. Damm a tech advance of 500 years sure managed to allow the team to create some impressive weapons like that rail gun as well as the new metal that the shields are made off. The storming of the castle sure was fun as Ringo's new tech and Aoi's skills with the sword easily overwhelmed the enemies vaunted advantage in numbers. The teamup between Aoi and Winona sure was fun as was Shinobu's defeat of that mage. Overall an excellent ep that while featuring some excellent strategy and decisions that would change both the village and the world significantly also featured some rather enjoyable combat in the form of the siege that while showing the bravery of the villagers also did well to show the skills that the team had in relation to combat ability as well. While last ep was a game changer this siege served to show just how determined Tsukasa and his friends are in creating a better world for the people that are dear to them. Im quite curious to see what the dragon that the goddess warned about was though.

Wow, worst episode yet. I have a sweet spot for generic isekais, but this is even to much for me.
Heck, if the duke would've been Jabba the Hut himself that'd been more creative than this stupid shit. And of course the whole village suddenly is stronger than trained soldiers, because why not. Also, swords from Aluminium are shit. A, they don't hold edges well, if at all, B, they are too light and therefore wouldn't even pack enough of a punch to cut through a linen gambeson. But why am I even trying to ask for logic in this piece of shit?

As said with any villain with the plot to capture their desires and do the hell with them.

Otherwise, getting into this episode, politician Tsukasa is making way to destroy the isekai world by inputting modern values. Literally turning it upside down.

Oh wait...but rescuing Lyrule is priority. It just feels so stupid that as capable as everyone is, time is on their hands to exert their "powers" with overwhelming clichés.

The plot twist "summoning for reasons" is one to caution though. Just wondering what shenanigans will this pop up in the future.

why do side villains need details and explanation on why they do that? JJBA has a lot of villains like that and people don't question it. I guess rape is still more controversial than villains killing mc for no reason.

To make story more engaging? While being a bad rapey guy could be fine with some criminal leader, like a bunch of outlaw mercs or robbers, here we have a noble inside a functional society. Yes, while even IRL nobles were far from saints, they still were not madmen who were willing to burn and entire village that is in their territory and pays taxes, just to get an elf for a few nights. If you do a villain who has no character, no motivation and exists only to be a "pure evil guy" to be beaten - it does not add anything to the world. And to be honest, right now this anime desperately needs at least some detailes to become less of a boring OP MC powerrol through every obstacle.

This is more "In another world with my smartphone" than "Dr. Stone".

I am disappointed. It is bad, because I liked this anime. But suddenly they have a super gun, WITH A COMPUTER. Imagine all the inventions you need AROUND the computer to create a computer.

And super shields - that are just there, mass produced. And the journalist has mapped out the castle - without us seeing it. And the "stage magician" can actually, honestly, fly. He is a real magician.

Everything is just there when they need it. Already produced.

BUT, no guns, because it's cooler if we get a sword fight.

So different from Dr. Stone. There, things take a reasonable amount of time. It's not, hey, we've already made this off-screen.

Gotta hurry to get a top post as soon as the thread is up after watching the episode at twice the speed, right? Over and over. I haven't seen a single post from you that isn't about pushing your political agenda. You should have been banned long ago for this crap.

"military and elitists" Like you, then. Look in the mirror. An "elitist" is someone who wants to take up space at the expense of others, regardless of whether he should be there or not. Like you constantly try to grab the top position in every new thread for your agenda, which no one wants to hear. Do you see the difference between yourself and people who post ABOUT THE ANIME, without making it about themselves at all times?

Bad adaptation does not mean the anime is bad specially for people who are anime-only and don't know anything about the source. I say Assassin's pride is good if I judge it as anime only without comparing it to manga/novel

I agree it does make story interesting, however they are just side villains. I still don't know yet the main villains in this anime. Now look at Diavolo in JJBA Vento Aureo, even as main villain, this guy's existence is just being pure evil as last boss. I'm not gonna spoil but what Diavolo did is much worse than this noble here, but people don't complain about Diavolo "being a pure evil guy". But I guess because this noble nearly raped an elf, people begin to complain. I agree with your last sentence that this anime needs to explore the world more.

Well, if you DO want to compare it with JOJO - you are already missing the point of Jojo. Jojo is over the top for the sake of it, it just goes "it sounded badass so we added it in". If I will try to remember every cool power that heroes from Jojo used only once and forgot about it - it will take me a lot of time. Jojo is about style, action and self-proclaimed fun that watcher/reader accepts and laughs along. Here is completely another case: it is not satire, it is not a parody, it is a template product that uses every single easy cliche and adds nothing to make it interesting. While I don't expect Diavolo or any of his underlings to be a deep villain (but remember that they at least were criminals so being bad is kinda a "must have"), I do expect that at least SOME importaint characters in a non-comic anime will have some sort of character and not "he is basically bad and that's all".

I do appreciate how instead of having OP characters this series is similar to Log Horizon in that it focuses on the economic and political ramifications of being isekai’d

I really like this somehow. I think with too many isekai it's all about one guy who is supposed to be a self-insert, but this actually has an interesting cast of characters.

Some are better than others, sure. Politician, businessman, scientist, spygirl are all great. Magician, doctor, samurai are varying levels of meh cliche to straight up annoying.

The plot actually goes places and has mystery elements which are keeping me interested. It's not the best anime ever, but it's fun and I enjoy it every week.

This episode was pretty exciting. Everyone complaining about the cliche villain but honestly he does exactly what he's meant to do, that is make you hate him. I like deep villains with more complex motivations too, but for some straight-up "make you hate his guts asap" energy, nothing beats a rapist.

6/10 right now. Verging on 7.

Also, ppls should throw away "Logic"

Since the MCs are suppose to be of "Godly skilled", meaning "out of this world".

They're literally meant to be shown like they're gods, so of course what they do can not be fully explained.
