They even got horses for this mission now. Nice. Gillian is on board now too.

Oh Norman...the stuff going on in his head is hard to watch.

it's race against time!

Really happy to see Norman having inner conflicts.

Maybe he will finally realize that the path he has taken is wrong.

This manga keeps getting worse. Smfh.

Emma and the kids keep making stupid naiive decisions trying to be "friends" with monsters who see them as food. It's shounen so there won't be any type of logical consequences. Everything will just work out for them.

And the author killing off Norman for no other reason than the shounen troupe of "pro-violence characters never make it in the end". They'll have some corny redemption scene for Norman where he's on his deathbed and he "sees the error of his ways and how he's sorry because he only wanted to see his family smile" or something lame like that.

Norman has probably known he was living on borrowed time way before his plan back when he was being tortured at Lambda. They all do. But he also appears to have lied about his intention to kill anyone and wants to keep his promise to Emma.

Maybe the Lambda experiments gave him a split personality of sorts.

Things are going by pretty fast right now, but the fact that Emma refused to explain what she had sacrificed while reforging the promise and Norman is pretty obviously living with borrowed time... The death flags are waving.

The way this is going does worry me a lot, considering the last thing Ray would want was to lose either of them, but now it looks like he will end up losing both of them.

Is this manga nearing a conclusion?

Death flags hoisted high for Norman, huh? I really hope he doesn't die, but...well, it's not looking likely.

Again, I have to be the contrarian and say people who find Emma's thought process naive are wrong and should probably just stop reading the series though, lol.

Lol literally! In more ways than one! It's a race between Norman and Emma of whose plan is used to "defeat" (either physically exterminate like in Norman's plan or win by negotiation wihich seems like Emma's plan). It's also a race against time to see how much longer Norman will live. Him spitting up blood? Not a good sign that he'll live long...

And bloodshed begins! It is so obvious that Norman is going to die before the manga ends. So sad. There is no way for demons and humans to be friends. Maybe cursed blood can help, but we don't know how Musica and Soju keep their forms without eating people. Manga is never showed what they actually eat.

I expected the others to be on their last legs but not Norman! It does explain a few things though. Not sure what there is to negotiate if all the humans can leave (unless that's part of the price?). I think Gillian represents a lot of us. On one hand we would be fine if all the demons died (except Musica). But on the other we want Emma to succeed and be rewarded for taking the high road.

Also "four of us, four horses" I see what you did there ;)

Oh man. Poor Norman. Thought it does explain why he simply can't afford to wait for Emma. It's either he manages to finish everything now or it'll never happen. I'm very interested in finding out how this story will end. Norman is my favorite character, so unless his storyline is solved in an interesting way, I won't be satisfied.

The Tifari's coming up, a war's about to begin, and his friends are coming after him to stop his plans all on top of him being very sick. Norman can't seem to catch a break so much that he might end up dying later on...

I feel a bit bad for Norman with the reveal the Lambda experiments took a toll on those kids' health. Suspense. And yep, I've got you bookmarked, TPN.

Oh no! Noman's obviously dying! I don't think I can bear the thought of him gone in TPN.😭😭 It's no wonder why he's rushing to go to this war and why those kids say: "Norman looks anxious." It's because Norman is running out of time! Nooo!!😫😫

She got him back. If you understand the characters well enough, you'd know she did!

i thought Norman was going to be experimented on as well, looks like he will make himself the ultimate martyr. musica can likely save norman and those lambda people, and emma will sacrifice herself for norman

Norman's role in this war and his position in the hearts of his people really remind of a hero. It sucks that our MC is gonna go through the moral high ground and "save everyone". The victims never get to butcher their oppressors in these types of stories and I really love when they do get to do that. Good arc tho, 9/10
