Is it possible that he's a super Saiyan... no, I mean that's a Legend that only happens once every 1000 year right! lol Freeza is going to have a bad day next episode. |

| Awesome episode, so much happened. He threw the Genki Dama, Krillin got killed, Piccolo got shot and he turned Super Saiyan. I agree the transformation seems less epic, but that's because Kai doesn't have all that filler-charging like Z did. I was thinking. In DBZ Goku returns to Earth in the Android (Future Trunks if you will) saga. But Kai is supposed to stop after 50 epi's, the Frieza Arc. Could they make a new ending to the series? The one Toriyama had in mind all this time? |

But it would be nice to see what kind of alternate ending there is, assuming it doesn't end on a cliff-hanger to the next saga ofcourse. |

Toriyama originally only planned Dragonball and Dragonball Z to continue up until the Frieza saga. But popular as it was, people convinced him to come up with more saga's. |

So I assume that the Android/Cell Saga and Buu is included in DB Kai ;) Don't think 50 more episodes will be enough for android/cell AND buu saga. Android saga is a long long saga, you know ;) |

| Well whatever happens to the episode count shouldn't concern us... what should is the little fact that what will happen to the next sagas,... Dunno how much they will cut them down, but at least me I will enjoy this director's cut of DBZ XD I liked this epi!!! After all it had what it needed... Our dear Goku transforming in the SSJ, and everyone being killed or shot down by the indestructible Freezer... Man that guy is unbelievable... to good the SSJ is already here to bust his butt... | Everybody complains that it is not as dramatic as in the first... but you have to remember that at that time anyone who didn't read the manga didn't know what was going on... usually a surprise is more dramatic |

| the funny moment where frieza just walked to the genkai dama xD no matter how much i know the the following, the first part of the episode just make me smile, the OST, the directing and the characters. i actually remember the death of kuririn have more impact in the original dbz, it just didn't made enough to realize why goku had been angry to reach the SS, the SS part on the other hand have better impact. i dunno though how they are gonna end the arc in 5-6 episodes, there's more of this arc. |
| Always great seeing Goku transform in his Super Saiyan form for the first time, sadly Kai didn't even come close to the same feeling the original Funimation dub had. Faulconer just brought so many emotions to the scene, Krillin's death was a lot more impactful aswell and maybe that's because we had so many more episodes to get invested compared to Kai's fast pace. I'll never be able to forget this amazing scene with Faulconer's track: |
