| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- The more I think about it, the more I think the OP song is catchy. Thought this episode was okay. We got Persona featured as a game at the arcade! It as fun to watch Uehara compete and his girlfriend in the background doing funny stuff. From the main characters, I like Uehara the most. He speaks what's on his mind and doesn't hold back. Tendo's fangirl face is rather amusing. |

| Uehara's a fun guy, his VA adds his charm of being the gag character, when he saw Tendou fangirling and his voiced kicked in with that ''eh? ah? oh!'' Toyonaga is one great VA when it comes to jokes and jabs. A rather cliche development as expected when Tendou heard what Keita was saying. Then again I love the comedy in this show, it kicks right in! |

| Honestly i haven't been so annoyed with a character since IS the main really needs a good punch to the face he is way to passive and his personality is so weak. The other guy isn't that interesting either but at least he is more straightforward and he is a nice guy despite his tough guy act. That being said this anime didn't really show anything that stands out so for the characters seem copy paste characters and the events are predictable. |
| The OP is glorious and catchy The anime adaptation is much better than the manga adaptation imo. This anime is way beyond my expectation (maybe the bar was set too low) but I'm liking the reaction faces and comedy a lot so far. |

| This episode to me especially during Uehara and Amano's confrontation was literally " DO YOU THINK GAMES ARE SILLY LITTLE THINGS? >YES >NO " Ah! the memories. <3 Anyway, I really liked Uehara and after he learnt that Aguri liked him since middle school, I totally ship them. The Tendou development was rather cliched but it's fine. The comedy in this show is great. :D Also, the OP is awesome. I love all the game references both in the OP and in the actual series to various titles. ED card was glorious. <3 |

| Damn, that was a great second episode, quite an improvement compared to the first. Loved Tasuku's character and his backstory, Aguri is such a cute. That fighting game in the arcade was basically me while playing Smash Bros, god, I'm awful at that game. |

| One more episode before best girl appear. Why cannot next week come soon already? Well for this episode the confrontation part is actually way funnier than in the LN because of the visual effect for Tasuku. Now let him enjoy his moment before the snowball start rolling next episode. One thing I like for the anime is the use of note. Because the LN have many internal monologue it help to save time. |

| I loved the opening! Oh man Uehara is pretty awesome. I like how each character has some shit going on in their lives as well. I liked Amano and Uehara teaming up and playing some games as well. Seeing them in a Japanese Arcade really makes me jealous! Ive only played a few machines at cons but playing in a Japanese arcade would be awesome! Idk why people are hating on Amano, I think he's hilarious for sticking to what he wants to do. Dawww Uehara and Aguri are so cute!!!! Yo Tendou is braking down and I think it's hilarious! lol BEST GIRL CHIAKI ENTERS NEXT WEEK!!! Side note: When an Anime uses Real World Games and Anime in their Series....they're doing things the RIGHT WAY! |

| Amazing episode. The OP is quite catchy. There were some games I recognized like PUBG, Super Mario Bros. and Super Smash Bros. Tasuku is great. I liked how he learned that that Aguri liked him since middle school. He enjoys playing video games now. Tendou being obsessive over Amano is amusing. |

| Yup, MC is a huge problem of this series. Uehara makes more interesting character than that walking cliche. To make things worse he rubs off Tendou. Romance based on plushie makes more sense than one based on absolutely nothing. Scratch that, it's based on negative. I'll see how it goes but I'm afraid MC will kill most of the enjoyment possible to find in this series. |

| Whoa. A persona fighting game was featured. I have never expected Tendou would fall in love with the MC. Then I realize that this is a love comedy. A school Idol falling with a guy like him would lead to chaos on the school. I can already guess that the first scene of episode 1 was a love confession. I wonder what she really see in him? Uehara and Aguri's backstory was so darn cute. So he was actually a 'nerd' until he change himself. And to see Aguri's reason why she likes him was back in his middle school days when he was a nerd. And she changed herself to be cute in order for him to like her. That's is so cute that it made me smile. I just realize that the seaweed girl who plays with the MC is actually Chiaki. |

| anyone has a gif of Uehara chameleon face? As a LN reader i cant not be disappointed at the amount of dialogues skipped. And i wish we'd have at least a little Uehara monologues to find out how he feels more. We skipped ant grasshopper dialogue which was so signature for that chapter. Regardless a good episode from anime standards. OP is great :D Endcard boysssss  |

| That was actually really awesome. I thought Uehara was gonna be dick for a long time but he's actually kind of a badass. And Aguri's adorable in an actually meaningful way, apparently. He better treat her right from now on. Edit: Also, the derpy noises Tendou makes are fucking cute as hell. |

Tasuku and Aguri <3 Tendou is sweet as well, but because of main MC, I don't think that this couple will be interesting like Tasuku and Aguri. Btw, Aguri is probably the girl of the season. |

Was that supposed to be Tendou banging her head into something in the alley? I replayed it like five times, and i'm still unsure. Uehara does not deserve Aguri. I ship him with Amano instead. |

| Woah, the show really got itself together, I think it had a decent start but this second episode was super strong. I hope it will be on this quality from now on. OP is really catchy and I like the ED too. I also liked the backstories. Tasuku's reaction was priceless and Aguri is super cute. I had my doubts about Karen but she is starting to shape into something interesting, that fan girl mode was just wows... Keita standing up for himself was decent too. I think it's pretty unique how the studio goes all out with the emoji face expressions, they make a great boost to get that comedy feeling up to the max. Overall the voice actors are doing a fantastic job too. Definitely looking forward to the rest. |
| Am I the only one who doesn't find the MC annoying? ^^^ Duh, I know I'm not the ONLY one but still, the hate is strong with this one. That Persona 4 Arena tho XD I wonder how much they're paying for all those references. |

| Amano you sly dog, you! To think you've got Tendou wrapped around your fingers like that, haha. This show is pretty fun to watch to be honest. Reminds me of my high school days back when me any my mates used to head down to the arcades after school and game till our fingers hurt. Also loving how they're giving us hints about what's to happen in upcoming episodes every so often. Can't wait to see what happens next what with that new girl at the end of the episode there. |

He has no reason to vehemently defend that club. He's supposed to be passionate about games in a cowardly way but there's nothing to make him passionate about club he doesn't even find interesting enough to join. It was only a lazy writing excuse for Tendou to hear that and fall for him. Otherwise there would be no reason for her to like him. There's still none but at least now plot got a poor excuse to ship them together. It actually brings to my mind a thought from some Witcher 3 review I've stumbled upon recently. One of the reasons people prise its writing is because it gives the feeling that characters were written first and then creators thought about how they would act in gives circumstances according to their personalities, experiences etc. One of the reasons why so many other games and most anime nowadays fall flat (to put it very nicely) is because characters are written to fit the plot decided beforehand. And its painfully apparent here to the point of being annoying. |
