THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Yui walked back to her house and got excited to receive a letter to the extend that she took her shoes off roughly. It's from Kajika. She told Yui what happened, including Lumati becoming the king. Her mother, who came back, is angry at how she took off her shoes. Li Ren asked his uncle to come over. Zhao's not letting him in, but surprised to see Li Ren's expression. He closed the curtain and pointed a knife at him. He wanted to cooperate with him without letting Zhao know. Then he's not pointing the knife anymore and said he wants his uncle's son to be the leader instead of his uncle or himself. He will try his best to help out getting his relative to be the leader He also wants his uncle to help him block Zhao's helpers/assassins around Asia. The marriage was decided because he used Kajika's life to force him. He never thought of him as enemy and not even Zhao, just the situation is different. He also has no intention to get Barnsworth. His uncle understood that he's giving up the position for mere woman. He doesn't understand why someone who's capable of becoming the leader to give up the position everyone likes. The deal is set when his uncle says he won't be able to return as a member of Fang. When the knife was pointed to his uncle, he said he was ready to die. Then he left. Li Ren will have to wait which one's moving faster, Zhao or elders' decisions. When he gets what he wants, he will get Kajika back. Toranosuke has heard about Li Ren's situation through the helper of Fang including Carl meeting him and he called his uncle over. Kajika understood that he's moving. Toranosuke says they needs to find out how to get Li Ren out, thought there's many people locking the house. Neuei offered help because Lumati ordered him to follow Kajika's order to help her. Kajika said she will need to thank everyone (including Eugene). Eugene said save the thanks later when she gets what she want back. The soldiers are always ready and will have to go at night. Kajika said why at night, especially tomorrow is new moon. She's merely getting her lover back. Just go while the sun is out! Yui went down to get her snack and went up while her mother is scolding her for not organizing her shoes well. She's skipping dinner and read the letter! "NEED TO GET BACK!!" (her mother pondered what?) Lin Li's father heard the news and he's angry. He told Lin Li that the leader is changed and marriage is cancelled. Lin Li is angry and went to confirm. While Zhao also received the news about the change. Li Ren told both of them it's true. He also told Lin Li that the marriage was to strengthen the connection for both families. He doesn't want to hurt her feeling toward Li Ren. Zhao is at it again, but cannot do so because he already asked his uncle to block his assassins. He still likes Zhao and believed him the most, but it's sad to be in this situation. He can leave everything to his cousin. There's always replacement for the position, but Kajika and his each other-ness has no replacement. Zhao still wants Li Ren back and wants him to cancel everything he did, saying that how foolish of Li Ren to give the position to the family with ugly heart. Li Ren pointed the gun at Zhao and forced to be there until the elders' decision comes. Zhao still not giving up and said he still have two secret men in the house, when he called for them, Neuei and the soldiers came, already caught both men. Both Zhao and Li Ren, especially Li Ren, are shocked (lol @ his expression)! Attack and saving Li Ren plan begins!! Then the helicopters with a larger helicopter came the door opens and it's Kajika. Kajika told him to choose, come with her or stay. If Li Ren wants to come, Kajika doesn't want her life. Li Ren is relaxed. Kajika is ojousama as usual. Lin Li said she's going to cancel the marriage because he failed as a leader. While turning her back, she said the one she wants to marry is the leader of Fang. She has no interest in Li Ren. Then she left. Li Ren understood that she' said those to give Li Ren up to Kajika, so he said thanks to her. With that, he undressed his rope (with OP) then several greenish sparkle scenes + the clips of their relations. Li Ren is smiling and running to Kajika. + Kajika sparkling scenes, waiting for him. At the end, the sparkle is pink and they hugged each other. Never to give each other up again. Yui continues to read. According to Neuei, Zhao is quitting as a member of Fang. Neuei asked if he was really intended to kill Kajika, he said he probably did or did not. It doesn't matter anymore. Zhao asked for repair fee to Rosental! Toranosuke asked them where they want to go, because there's jet ready in airport. Kajika said the island because Maria is waiting. Eugene said he has been wanted to see the island someday. Li Ren said Eugene's going, too? Eugene said if he has complaints, he can always get of the helicopter because this larger helicopter is his. Kajika is happy because it's with Li Ren and Mustafa. Kajika told Toranosuke to go to Laginei first to let Maharty see Li Ren. Kajika told Li Ren that it was Maharty who encouraged her to get the love she wants. At Laginei, Maharty is calling Catherine's name. The priests told another one to call for Harry, who is uneasy. Lumati is talking to Harry about Maharty. Harry said Kajika will be back soon and let's eat together including Li Ren. Lumati said he has such a confidence. Harry has confidence on Kajika, so as Lumati. Though Lumati is sad from broken heart. Harry said he will find someone to love soon. This time it's lover, not friends. Harry said he can help him find "her". Lumati asked if Harry is going to start a game using him? Harry laughed and said that's good, too. Someone is calling both of them. Maharty's narration about finding love with Carl accompanying his father. Najayra walking. The end with Kajika and Li Ren on the island. There's Guest Talk special on the 21st and rerun of first special (where Toranosuke talks) on the 28th. |

Honestl speaking, I was expecting a bit more of the ending... like... Eugene still needs to move on, and so should Carl. And they haven't really done that. Only Lumaty has. I don't think it's relaly good to follow Li Ren and Kajika everywhere. Eugene could've hooked up with Yui or something xDDD It's sad that only the main character got a detailed good ending. |

I like the entire anime, it's amazing. But after I watched the last episode, it totally spoils my rating. Maybe because I expected more for the ending. T_T It'll be nice if there is OVA. |

Well, I thought the ending was just perfect!! ^^ We have actually already seen what Eugene feels; he will always love her and protect her, until he has had enough (which I don't think that will be soon...lol). And we also see Carl slowly but surely, move on. Rumaty is also moving on well. And Kajika and Li-Ren's story lives on - thats the important part so thats why this episode focused on them more; the winning couple. *Clap clap!! ^^ * |

I really liked the ending. The series sure came a long way after the Director was changed..which I think was a good idea. Good show :] |

So it has finally ended huh? Quite a long run for such an old adaptation.. I do hope they will ever get to animating the manga one shot that will be released this Spring/Summer. I'm not really sure what to say of this ending.. it felt quite short and lackluster. And the scene where the two lovers reunited; yes, typical shojo, with the sparkles and slow-motion .. haha. Carl completely lost the purpose of his role.. and the fact that Eugene will accompany Kajika and Li-ren on the island doesn't sit right with me as well. Ah, I sure wouldn't mind seeing more of Lumati.. seeing how he will develop his country and hopefully bring prosper and hope again. Overall.. a 7. Even before we had passed the first part of the show, I really, truly wanted to award this an 8. But the change of director made some really inconsistent episodes and some things just really felt out of place because of that. Also, there was no real climax, perhaps for the moment where Kajika and Li-ren finally expressed their true feeling to each other, and where he finally regained his backbone. Too bad not all the male leads could profit from this fact. (Looking at you, Carl. Seriously, if you think about it, he was quite pathetic.) ++ for the OP and ED song, though. They never managed to bore me and often I was 'not that amused' when yet again that lovely song had been cut because of the CR watermarks. And now, let's continue to hope the manga will once be picked up again.. @-rosycrystals-: such a lovely icon. |

After the 36th episode, and according to Jyu Oh Sei's pattern, I thought the ending would definitely not be a happy one but I understood the following ep I was wrong. It was quite a good ending, very unusual considering today's standards (we seldom see true happy endings such as this one now), but still kinda efficient and good after all. It was a nice series, quite strange seeing this is a mix between shoujo and political manga, with loads of animation and production issues, but that was consistent and interesting in the end with great characters. 8/10 |

I'll give them credit...the episode wasn't nearly as cliche as I thought it was going to be. That said, it was all just extremely over-the-top and ridiculous, like many other moments in the show that I loathed. There was, once again, a lack of animation, and Li-Ren's face as he was rushing toward Kajika was horrible. Plain horrible. The show had it's moments for about 5 episodes, but it struggled to mediocre. 4/10. |

Woo, Li-Ren got his balls back. X3 Shame he had such a retarded face when he and Kajika were slow-mo running towards each other. (Caps, anyone? It's really funny. Funny-bad.) I was so tempted to give this show a 4, this last episode in particular was painfully bad. Right now I've left it as 5 because I enjoyed some parts of it (and Li-Ren~), but idk. I guess I'll think about it. |

It is such a big shame that the season is actually over now ): I have to admit, this must be one of my top favourite animes now on! The ending was a happy one (thank god xDD) with Li ren and Kajika together, personally, I think there should be another season or maybe OVAs just to see how the others are doing and more of Li ren and Kajika!! <3 |

Yui x Lumati Najayra x Eugene or Najayra x Carl or Najayra x Eugene and Carl (because we know how she likes to be entertained ;) ) This series started out as your typical romance shojo anime but it totally took a turn for the better at the later half. I was really surprised how good this show became. I think it's one of the most underrated and unnoticed shows of the year. |

Ah, what a nice ending. I really liked this show, most likely because of Kajika's non-stereotypical shoujo-lead, but also the guys who actually have brains instead of your regular reversed harem. No, Hanasakeru fits with the romance tag. I laughed in the last scene with Kajika, Eugene and Li-Ren. Speaking of Li-Ren, he looked ridiculously old when he was running towards Kajika. Anyhow, a nice ending to an underrated series. |

Am i the only one who noticed either a serious flaw, or an intent for it to keep moving on? In one of the last few episodes you see Harry reminiscing about "Kitty" (Kajika's mother) and how about no half-assed man is able to protect her and whatnot. During those scenes (while he is talking to Maria) he also mentions Kajika having another secret, yet that was never revealed and it is literally bugging the crap out of me -.- Either it was left unfinished or it will keep going, either way it still bothered me :P Checked out where it was, episode 37 at 21:38 "It's that dangerous to have the Burnsworths' name, on top of that, Kajika has a secret beyond that" - Harry. I guess it can mean her lineage aswell though i would think that Maria would be aware of it at that time, if that is what he meant then i think that is quite poorly made :/ This is a good series nonetheless but i noticed that it had a few weird turns. |

Does anybody else think that Lee Leng had the most ridiculously awesome face when Noei first barged into the room? I loooove it. The ending was good, but nothing fabulous. In all honesty, I didn't expect a fabulous ending, so I wasn't really disappointed I suppose. And as much as I love Eugene, him being on the helicopter annoyed me also. Let the couple finally have some alone time. I actually liked Yui a lot, but I can't get over how useless Toranosuke was the entire series. I held onto the hope that he would redeem himself in the end, and he never did. |

Okay, so this anime wasn't nearly as good as I was hoping it would be, but it wasn't all that bad either. I was expecting way less drama, actually. Although, the drama gave it a good twist. The part where Kajika and Li Ren were running to each other was just plain stupid, though. Couldn't even bear to watch it. It was nice to see all the main characters at the end of the series, too. For the whole thing, I'd say a 7/10. |

It supposed to be a romance anime, yet the only scene that was actually moving was Quinza's death ;) I had expected something more from the last episode, but I got a cliche reunion with bubbly-flowery-pink background. Overall, an average series, with occasional irritating flaws (the most common being the idiocy of characters). I killed some time with it, but won't bother to rewatch. |

the story has a lot of flaws.. that's what i didn't like. but overall, the anime was good. the characters are loveable esp. Eugene, RUMATY AND HARRY BURNSWORTH! geez! harry is one hell of a DAD! ahahaha. Noei is great too! bwahahha. ~ the ending was kind of rushed off, but still i liked it.. though it may not be perfect, it was still enjoyable.. :D |

Although it's a romance series, I preferred the political side of it more (with Rumati being king in the end and his awesome speech). Oh, and the death of Quinza was definitely saddening/touching. The ending of Li Ren and Kajika was kinda obvious but I didn't really how they presented it and ended the series. I really enjoyed the series overall though. Been awhile since I've watched a good one with romance in it. (: (: |

Well, the ending was okay for me... I guess I didn't have much expectations in actual ending. But this whole slow-motion reunion was not really my thing (while watching it I was trying to do the same 'painful' expression as Li-Ren, but I just ended up laughing even more). But really overall I'm a bit annoyed with some things in the anime plot. For example, the line of succession of the Raginei throne. It doesn't make sense to me how illegitimate son would actually be able to success the throne. I always thought that illegitimate children have no right to the throne or inheritance, so basically, even though Raginei is different from other parts of the world I still think that this should apply to this country (especially if it wasn't mentioned directly). So I don't think that Harry has any rights, which also includes Kajika. Also, leaving that part- Kajika still shouldn't be the first one in the line to the throne. It says that Harry lost his rights after 5 years, so his children shouldn't be the first in line. Rather than that Romaty and his brother still had the initial rights (their father was the king). And after themKajika should be the one to success... that's how I see it. The second annoying thing is the Kajika's connection to Japan. I really-really don't get it! Why does she need to be Japanese? I guess the Japanese audience really needed too be able to relate to something... yet if you do an international story, then just stick to it. I mean Kajika is really western-like. The other thing is her 'leaving' her family's name behind and living on her own. It was really pointless to me, because still other characters rescued Li-Ren instead of her and helped her till the end- she was just there to have shoujo-like reunion with him. In reality she's really powerless character... |

Noei best character ever because he get shit done. I was loving when the helicopters flew up to Li-Ren's room and then destroyed the cars outside. That part was as over-the-top and ridiculous as the early episodes and I got a good chuckle out of that. But then it all went stupid when Li-ren was finally with Kajika and she says "Let's go visit my grandfather." She ruined the entire mood wtf is wrong with her? There was some good moments and some really bad ones and I wasn't feeling this Zao drama. 5.5/10 personal score. I'll just add this to my list of "recent shoujo that i've seen lately and have been disappointed with". :s Oh and not enough of the couple living in Givoli or something, it was mostly anti-climatic as far as the romance goes. |

Harriers (Harrier Wiki) showing up out of nowhere. And destroying cars parked in front of the mansion, like they would chase the heli by those cars. Oh man, so bad. I don't even want to mention how anti-climatic the rest of the episode was :| But seriously, what frictional country this Machaty, Rumaty are from? I swear I saw so many different languages written on walls/ structures/ shops/ temples that I really don't know which geographic location they meant. I was thinking it could be some country in the middle-east (because of oil), but then it seems it is in the region of south-east asia (brought about in light when there was political unrest). No point pondering, because the country is over the top, that has harriers that enter Hong Kong at will. In the process, Hong Kong's sovereignty is questioned and Rosenthals have been invoiced. =_= Zao has been yours truly, probably the worst final villain. Seriously, they could do without this and I would have regarded the anime much higher. :/ Best female character: Yui. Best male character: The bodyguard that died when Rumaty got kidnapped. Kajika has a couple of loose screws, but I guess she is okay. All four male leads were below average. Kajika's dad (pronounce "datto") sure picked nice bunch of guys for he knew what her daughter was like. ps. I watched episode 14 onwards from horriblesubs and it has been a reminder of how horrible CR subs were back then. 6/10 (was rating it 7/10 when the whole royalty issues were going on, but the ending was so disappointing I cannot but have to give this anime a generous 6/10) |

It's over. -gasps through happy tears- I'm happy Kajika chose Lee Leng/Li-Ren. It was a happy ending and they're all alive ! It's almost back to how it was, Lee Leng/Li Ren reunited with Kajika on the islands, a Mustafa (MUFASA!!!!!!!!!!!) around to be Kajika's best friend. And Rumati the destined King or Ragnei. Carl Rosenthal.................the leader of the Rosenthals I suppose. It was obvious Harry wanted Lee Leng/Li Ren to be Kajika's husband, (Since essentially he did know everything and put down everything for her) ((Lovers=best friends I suppose)) But all the other options I feel were for the benefit of the Burnsworth in strengthening connections (among other things like...the meaning of life) and that the good guy doesn't always come last?? zibibba said: :P[/quote kotoko87 said: Well, after watching the whole series, one thing bothers me. It was a bit extravagant, and exaggerated but goes to show how overpowered the Burnsworths are. plus I kind of assume that the shooting of the cars was so they couldn't chase after Lee Leng/Li-ren. Everyone helped alittle to get Kajika to find her one true love, I suppose. FRIENDS...zoned. |

When Noei came flinging the doors and that look on Li-ren face, this ep started to become a masterpiece. Sure knows how to end things. Each arc's ending is gold. Though coming to this end has some boring minutes. To all naysayers ab Kajika, Fuk yourself. "Let's go in during daytime. Fair and square". Slamming the plane's door and stating the choices to her man. What the hell those foreign military planes doing in Singapore? Ling-Ling's last moment is kinda cool! |

That was a pretty bad ending. Suddenly Li-Ren has knives and guns, assistant guy thinks he's smart for hiring 2 security personnel and then we get a raid by a foreign country's military on foreign soil them shooting up cars in broad daylight and all we get is: send the bill to Carl? What was even the point of Carl and Eugene other than for Kajika to "save" them and "preach" to them about the virtues of life and love. As usual Shoujo is hit or miss for me. This was definitely a miss. |
