I'm in third year university now...wow, was it really high school when we last talked? I'm in a premed program so that has been super busy. I applied for medical school this year, and that in combination with midterms and my courses this year has kept me from doing much other than work. I've been keeping up with a couple of manga series that I'd been following for a long time, but I haven't watched anime in two years or so. I've been more obsessed with the BBC series Sherlock...
On an ending note, I saw you were from the Philippines. I'm actually going to Australia on an exchange in Winter 2014! So I'll actually be on your side of the world haha.
I hope you're doing well. I'm really grateful for all the friends I made on this forum back in the day, and I wish you all the best : )
I am planning to go on a trip to Tokyo this Winter or next Summer. If you happen to be there, too, maybe we can meet^^
thank you for asking me ;)
Sorry if I did not write it clear enough, but well yeah. What I meant was that her live was.. well, it's hard to put it.
Have you ever seen Nano's music video for "Be free with music"? You sure did! Her live was a little like her performance in the video. She stood on stage and sang. At first, we as the audience were a little bit disappointed, especially since we were taken away by Yuimino+, which was on stage before Nano.
Their performance involved the audience and they made us sing and dance. Not so for Nano. She came on stage and just sang. I don't rememer exactly, what song she sang. It was a slower one I think. And she had her hood on. We couldn't see her face. I was shocked - she was the main attraction and compared to Yuimino...
Well, the audience was rather quiet. It was awkward^^. During (or after?) her song, she threw her jacket away. After the song, she made a break to talk to us. And then a spectacle began! The songs she sang cought us. More and more. We stood up from our chairs. I was in the third row. I was very close and I could see all of her movements. She danced with us - her on stage, we in front of it.
The music was great, the performance simple but good. I really liked it! It emphasized her singing. And her voice was amazing!
I bought her album and had her sign it.
The first time I was able to listen to her album was in my car on my way back home. The songs on the disc are good, but they are not close to as good as the live performance.
Maybe you can criticize me for also adding the mood of the live - but I think, that also is an important part of a concert.
I will defenitely go to another Nano concert. Even if it means going to Japan (I wanted to go there either way^^)
> I'm guessing it took awhile to cook a bear meat till it was tender
It depends. For hotpot the meat is sliced very thin so you don't need to cook it for long. However, for chunks of meat then it needs to be stewed for quite some time to get it tender. Anyway, bear meat is not that common in Japan. One needs to go to specialist places, often located in countryside in colder region, to be able to have bear cuisine (and of course Hokkaido, where Gin no Saji is supposed to take place) is north and cold enough for bear to be more common.
I would love to see another season for DtB xD
Yes only pro users or users who have donated to AP before are the only one who can still access the stuff on there.
You can still get scans from Minitokyo as majority of AP users upload their stuff onto Minitokyo as well.
I think the paid site is just a rumor..
You should continue hataraku maou-sama is really funny, lucifer is really cool, I identify myself with him xDD
Yeah Shingeki no kyojin is awesome, today's episode was amazing like always, Mikasa is really strong and beautiful and Armin, euhh, is Armin xD. Is too long one week to see the next episode!!!
I agree, the opening is very .....ahhh how to say it?? I think this is the first anime that I don't skip the opening after the third episode, really! Oh, you like Red data girl? At first I just saw it because of a friend I didn't like it that much, but after the part Izumiko was with make up and Sagara blushes, I didn't stop seeing it, it was so cute, love Sagara <3333
You didn't continue Oreimo?? So bad, the second season is full of romances, what if I say Kuroneko have a boyfriend?? xDDD Sorry If I made spoiler xD
My progress is going reeeaaallllyyy slow, but at least i'm learning a bit xDD
Yeah me too, I don't really read novels, I like more the mangas it have more details and you can easily understand the story, in my opinion ^^ Like I said before my friend is making a novel, is a bit complicated bus she's trying. It was her who taugh me the novels, before that I never read one. The only thing a like in the novels is that you imagine the characters and the scenes, is more hot? hahahaha
Sure ^^ Really?? For me this country is very beautiful, but a little boring. Come, you will be always welcome :) hehehe
So what anime are you watching lately? Right now i'm obsessed with Shingeki no kyojin and Oreimo, this time a lot of good animes are airing it makes me excited #^w^#
