THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- What did everyone think of this? I thought it was kind of good; I wasn't really expecting too much. I think it was better than the manga, but a proper Star Fox anime series could be way better. |

As someone who's not played Star Fox but is a little familiar with the characters (from Smash Brothers, friends, and personal research over the years), I found it enjoyable, and I thought the voice-acting was good. The animation was really well-done, really makes me long to see more CGI of that quality in anime. I'd have liked to have seen more. I have the same thoughts toward Kirby: Right Back at Ya! since they did a similar thing a few years ago, so this plus Kid Icarus: Uprising (still haven't seen the Pikmin shorts) gives me a glimmer of hope we'll see much more like this in the future. |

I liked it, I though it was interesting. My only real complaint is the frame rate in this anime, it was worst than Ajin. I would have actuelly preferred for it to have been 2D expect for maybe the flying scenes (I'm not a super huge fan of CGI anime especially if it has low frame rates.) but overall I l did like it. I heard Nintendo was going to have an anime made this year, I hope this isn't what they meant, I want a at least 12 episode series with full episodes of a new Nintendo anime, hopefully Zelda. |

Full Anime Series would be a great idea. After they finish with Attack On Titan Season 2 that is. |
I play video games. You should play a video game because you read my signature. |

This title brought back memories from the N64 days… The voice acting was superb (Eng. dub version) the story was fine (Game targeting kid +) but man the CG Animation was a letdown specially coming from Nintendo they know how to do cut scenes in their games but the frame for the CG was awful if this was the 90's it would be ground breaking but come on! it is 2016 already this isn’t cutting it granted this problem it not exclusively to this anime, is a problem found in most anime relying in computer generated animation. In my opinion if anime studios want to use CG I want them to look polished and smooth as Disney, Pixar, DreamWorks Pictures films, Lucasfilm quality wise not something that looks like it was made a decade ago we are not in the 90’s anymore. Make the CG that is being used in anime look like its being made in the new millennium please… |

Correct looking 3D CGI animated prologue to the game, empty as an anime but doing its job very well. Nice references to past games with the character playing an emulated Starfox, the quotes, or even the robot called 64 in english (didn't hear You'll want to go back to your SNes or N64. Enjoyment: 4/5 Score: 6/10 |

well it sure looked great ( ´◡‿ゝ◡`) animation and art direction was on point, even the CGI was good (this so called "full speed" CGI that people want in anime would look so much worse to the eye, noobs just don't know it) overall it was fun. I would have liked a cameo from Krystal, but that's just preference and not a disappointment (。•̀ᴗ-)✧ |

It was fine for what it was, the best part was probably hearing the Star Fox OST or seeing Star Fox being played by Falco at the beginning. I don't hate the CGI, though the animation was noticeably choppy and looked rather ugly a lot of the times. But the series charm was still retained, I liked Fox's sigh after Falco complaining about Peppy going to the bathroom, or Fox and Falco mocking Peppy's Pepper hares. I also thought for such a short mission, it was nice that everyone on the crew got to contribute to their victory. Star Fox as a franchise has always been something I've enjoyed more for everything surrounding the gameplay, so I'd definitely love one day to get a proper anime. And since it was mentioned, I enjoyed the manga more than this, since in that Fox threw a rapier into Andross' eyes. 6/10. |

The animation looked good on everything except the characters. On the characters, it looked choppy, laggy, and downright ugly. |
